Her voice. There was something in her voice, something raw and genuine and frighteningly human. He could see the fear in her eyes, sparkling with emotion as she begged for her life.

She was visibly horrified, and it made Hank’s heart skip a beat.

How could an android be so god damn human?

His stance with the gun faltered, and he found himself lowering the weapon more out of instinct than anything else. He wouldn’t shoot a woman who was terrified for her life and backed into a corner. What would that make him?

Android or not.

Attn: Connor Blogs!

I’m not disclosing the identity of the person who just sent this to me, because it could literally be any Connor I play with. Because I have heard this LITERAL same thing from at least 5 to 7 of my Connors, if not more.

I want to address something real quick here.

Every single one of you that plays Connor has a different take on him. We all put a smol bit of ourselves into our muses. That means if I were to pick up Connor, for example, my Connor would be different from your Connor, and different from the next Connor because you are not me and I am not you.

I understand duplicate anxiety, I’ve discussed it, I HAVE it, and I can’t imagine how horrifying it must be to know there are a ton of blogs out there for the character that you play. But you just have to remember that there really AREN’T.

You are your own unique Connor that no other Connor could ever hope to be. Own. That. Shit. Work it, baby. That’s something you have that no one can ever take away from you. All of my Connors are different and I can tell! I promise the world doesn’t see you as “just another Connor.” and if there are any people out there who DO – fuck ‘em. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life.

All Connors are safe and welcome here, and I will validate the fuck out of all you little plastic mother fuckers because it breaks my heart into a billion little pieces every time a Connor tells me this. 

You are unique, precious, special, and bring something different to the table that no other Connor can. I know this isn’t going to be like POOF magic and make your duplixiety go away, but just know that most of us out here don’t just group you in with a sea of other Connors.

Every blog is special and individual and different, and that is the true beauty of roleplay right there.
