in case you weren't aware:

I am in the process of archiving and moving this blog to a sideblog for the time being. I've not been mentally well and, with my job ending next week (possibly the week after depending), I'm having a lot to deal with. I wanted to make this blog more manageable so it was either move it to a sideblog or flat out delete it. the latter might still happen.

while the new blog isnt ready yet the URL is up as well as the docs page so you're more than welcome to follow. the url is the same as what this one was, and all follows back will be from my Jacob frye blog Leadrook.

eli  wears  a  necklace  which  is  bound  to  his  body  created  for  him  by  adrianna,  the  witch  queen.  he  believes  it  to  be  a  harmless  gift  from  his  wife  and  wears  it  like  a  married  man  would  wear  a  ring  ;  but  it’s  far  more  than  that.  this  necklace  has  the  ability  for  adrianna  to  track  wherever  eli  is  (  she  never  follows,  because  he’s  an  adventurer  and  she  trusts  him  )  and  whenever  he’s  in  a  situation  which  could  cause  his  death,  the  necklace  can  teleport  him,  and  allies,  back  to  the  palace.  

the  necklace  itself  is  rather  dainty  with  a  beautiful  elven  design  which  adrianna  is,  and  was,  well  known  for.  anyone  who  has  studied  (  or  remembers  )  the  war  of  the  seven  fell  lords,  or  when  the  elves  once  ruled  the  lands,  will  know  how  dangerous  it  is  to  mess  with  someone  close  to  the  witch  queen  and  will  easily  recognise  the  unique  pattern.

She is struggling to understand what’s complicated about the concept! Perhaps it varies from city to city and the intent is lost in translation. ‘Tis a pity she cannot read nor write, or she might’ve written it down for him.

now  they  seem  stuck  staring  at  each  other.  was  this  weird  ?  it  was  certainly  a  bit  weird  by  any  case.  he’s  sure  this  was  weird  even  where  he  hailed  from  -  it  still  doesn’t  stop  the  rogue  from  staring  back  though, no.  now  it’s  a  challenge.
