“We don’t have much time. Take my hand, and repeat after me.”
“Okay.”
“I do so swear to be bound to thee, to protect and to serve, to be protected and accept service, to care and be cared for, to cherish and to guard thee, until such time as I forswear or am forsworn, or until the day I die, or thee.”
“W- what does that mean?”
“It means you’re mine, and they can’t take you from me.”

Okay so according to the Hebrew Bible, Sheol(שְׁאוֹל‎/Šəʾōl) is believed to be the realm of the dead, however in the Second Temple period it is believed to be specifically the realm of the wicked dead. The term appears often alongside Abaddon(אֲבַדּוֹן‎/Avaddon), the name of the great abyss and also an archangel, the king of an army of locusts.
So what I’m thinking is Mionn/Bryce’s second love interest is one of the Starborn angels(magic-born demigods who were originally going to be dead until a god/goddess/deity repaired their body and forged them a completely new soul and attached a piece of star core to it, binding them to that star, and are typically winged) and her name is either Sheol or Abaddon(I prefer Sheol). And if that were the case, one of Bryce’s titles could be Abaddon(which means doom) and she and her girlfriend could rule hell together :)

Secondary power sources
I have recently been reading a lot of fantasy and sci-fi and I’ve noticed secondary power sources, like a magic plant or celestial body, are popping up, at least in the books I read. And there’s one thing I’d like to say:
If the power source is something like a star, or something that’s energy would kill a normal human being, I’d like it to be clarified that the character’s body was made to withstand it, and I’d like it to be relevant to other parts of the story.
Oh, they can withstand 200 million degrees in Kelvin? Do they register the pain or not? If they don’t, does regular heat affect them? What about a fever, can the fever burn hotter than average temperature, do they randomly get too hot when angry and start to make things smoke? Does their temperature stay internalized, does it radiate, does it reach the skin? These things would be relevant if it were a real situation, make them relevant in your story.

Me, knowing this a prompt and not a statement of fact: ACTUALLY-
prompt 1396
When a star dies, it releases all of its light, sending it out into the darkness, where it shines for a very long time.
