The Kardashians: The Ultimate Brand Opportunists.
Whether you love them or hate them, you DEFINITELY know their names. The Kardashian and Jenner family has grown over the past decade and has become what you could describe as the, "social media family." They have utilized personality, timing, and drama to stay relevant in the industry while also capitalizing off their own personal quarrels. To be described as a family with, "no talent," they definitely know how to stay relevant and make money while doing. Let's get in tune with what YOU can do to model your brand like a Kardashian.
WHEN YOU HAVE THE ATTENTION, SELL.
You may not have noticed but when the devil is working, Kris Jenner is working MUCH harder. She has been the ideal momager since her daughter, Kim Kardashian, was exposed in a sex tape with her then-boyfriend Ray J. Instead of tarnishing her image, the family used the attention she was gaining to make Kim a public figure. All eyes were on them and they decided to make Kim a product. She starting booking interviews that showcased her personality, began hosting events and parties, and landed deals with renowned Playboy Magazine.
MONETIZE WHAT'S HOT
Does anyone else remember when there was "beef," between Taylor Swift and the Kardashian/Jenner clan because honestly I don't, but I do remember how the Kardashians turned the term "snake," into a commodity. Kim released a set of Kimoji's, her own custom emojis, and included one that was referred to as SNAKE. Kylie Jenner also promoted her green LipKit that was also "ironically" titled SNAKE. Supporters and fans were in absolute CHAOS about the releases and of course the Kardashian's profited off ALL OF IT. If you see a trend in the market or your target demographic, HOP ON IT FAST. Trends die as quickly as they are created, and you could be missing out on money.
RELEVANCY ON ALL SOCIAL PLATFORMS
The Kardashian/Jenner clan has been able to secure strong platforms across ALL major social networking applications. While you may have a media company and Instagram is your primary platform of choice, it is important to branch out and create your Twitter account. You have now exposed your brand to an audience who may not have found you on social media, and you can help bring them to your preferred platform. Notice that when Kylie Jenner is promoting her makeup line, she'll post an image on the company Instagram, a video of her swatching it on Snapchat, and an image with the link on Twitter. Don't underestimate the power of branching out into other social medias because ultimately all of the promotion that Kylie did led them to the same destination: her website to purchase.

How to Gain INTERACTIVE Followers on Twitter.
Hello loves. I'm here to help you gain REAL followers that will actually interact with your posts, and content when the time comes. It pains me to see people who have developed the numbers, and have nothing to show for it at all. These tips and tricks have worked for me, and with a little bit of work, they'll work for you as well.
HASHTAGS
Hashtags are the easiest way to "trend" on any social media platform, but for this article we will focus on Twitter. Using relevant hashtags that fall into your aesthetic will put your tweet into a collective database, visible for others within the hashtag to see, and will help you gain follows from like-minded people. It is important to not jump on any, and every, hashtag because then you've developed a facade that requires MORE upkeep. If you are into music then jump on the hashtags related to that, and if you are interested in fashion follow such. That ensures that anytime you talk about music, someone will interact with you because they have the similar interest. You have to BE interactive and relevant in topic to GAIN interactive followers.
OPEN-ENDED TWEETS
Nobody can interact with tweets they do not understand or relate to. Tweeting about you locals 24/7 will not ignite your social media because the new followers you have gained may not be from your area. I typically make my tweets very open-ended because it allows EVERYONE to relate, thus more interaction.
EASE ON THE RETWEETS
I personally do not like following accounts that ONLY retweet other tweets, especially when they do not follow a theme. If you are trying to gain interactive followers, as a brand, you should always keep them in mind when picking what content will be on your timeline. Aimlessly retweeting everything under the sun may also confused potential followers because they are not sure WHAT you're all about.
AESTHETICALLY PLEASING BIO/HEADER/PROFILE PICTURE
I know for a fact that my organized, complimented profile has attracted people to follow me. This is simply because it give followers an idea of what you are about, and honestly, beauty attracts. When a profile looks good, has a nice following/follower ratio, and has relevant content to your interests, you will follow them. Keep this in mind, and make sure the theme you are following is genuine to WHO you are.

Creating an Aesthetically Pleasing Twitter.
It does not matter is you are branding yourself or in the midst of launching a company, the look of your social media matters. When I find myself on the social media account of a public figure or a business I take into consideration how they have branded their accounts. If I feel as though the company has not put much thought into their profile then I am less likely to follow them. Here are a few tips to creating a Twitter account that pleases the eye.
HIGH-QUALITY PROFILE PICTURE
High-quality does not mean you must have the latest DSLR camera on hand, or even a point-and-shoot. I am simply stating that it should not resemble your 2009 Myspace profile, that's all. I recommend that you enlist someone to take the picture for you, and resist the urge to add harsh filters. It is also vital that you are the only person in your profile picture.
COORDINATING HEADER
Maybe it's just me but I love a good header-to-avi ratio. If the outfit I am wearing in my profile picture is green, i'll select a header to compliment the color. Coordinating the header and avi show that you are displaying intention, which is everything. As a consumer, I do not feel as though it is attractive when the header and profile picture come off as eye sores, it's just unappealing.
SIMPLE & EFFECTIVE BIO
Short and sweet will always be the way to go when creating a bio on a microblogging website. You should include what you do, where they can locate your business, and a catching tag line. If there is a hashtag that you incorporate on a regular basis, include that at the end. I also take the time to format my bio thus making it much more aesthetically pleasing for potential consumers.

Working Woman Series: Robyn Rihanna Fenty
This woman has EASILY become the queen of modern-day marketing in the music business. Rihanna absolutely refuses to take her foot off of our necks, and I can't possible have a blog about starting up your small business without breaking down what is working for her!
LIKABILITY IS EVERYTHING
People like Rihanna, therefore people want to support her and people are checking for her. You have to be likable in a business when you are selling a product/service because people do business with folks they LIKE. When Rihanna launches a product, her #Navy shows their support for her by retweeting, sharing, and commenting on her promo posts. It's time for you to gather your tribe, and get them to PROMOTE.
LET THE PRODUCT (AND CUSTOMERS) SPEAK FOR YOU
You love you product and think it's the most poppin' release ever? Let the folks who have worked with you or purchased the product speak for you! Testimonials from customers will help sway the uncertain customers on your checkout page. Of course you think the product is amazing but you have to prove that other people think so too. Rihanna's "Fenty Beauty," Instagram page reposts all the customers that tag her in the products, showing other customers what the product looks like without the professional photographer and studio lights. Take notes!
FOLLOW YOUR AESTHETIC
Rihanna is known for serving looks and being a sex symbol, therefore it makes sense for her to get into the business of clothing and makeup. She knows who her target audience is and she knows what products they'll respond well to. You have to narrow down who your target audience is before you start developing your products because what if you aren't appealing to them? Find your audience and cater to them!

The Other B-Word and It's Worst than B*tch.
We have all been at the opposite end of the hard BITCH word. Regardless if you truly deserved it due to your catty actions or you simply were standing in your truth, the good old B-word hits. Instead of feeding our precious energy into that misogynistic, we are going to focus on the word you may have never thought much about: Beta.
I first discovered such a title during my "The Clique" by Lisi Harrison stage. The series focused in on upperclass prep students who rule their middle schools with money and an iron fist. The protagonist, sometimes antagonist, was considered the APLHA. She led her chosen pack of wolves through the hallways and was prepared to destroy anyone who dare stand out of line. She was the Regina George, and alongside for the ride was Gretchen Wieners. Gretchen Wieners is the BETA.
WHAT IS A BETA?
The Beta of the clique is the friend that is down to ride for all the wrong reasons. She mindlessly follows her leader, the Alpha, with little resistance. The Beta is typically envious of her Alpha leader, an example perfectly embodied by Gretchen Wieners, yet does not have the leadership skills to stay away from the path or lead others. She finds does not find comfort in her position but, "knows it's better to be in the Plastics and hate it, than to not be in at all."
ARE YOU THE BETA?
In the early 90's and 2000's Hollywood productions she would usually stand up to her Alpha and find herself as an individual, but unfortunately this isn't a Hollywood movie. If you find yourself blindly coming second-in-command to friends know that now is the time to stand in your truth. You must cut ties with relationships where you find yourself being used as a tool in someone else's life, and learned to develop opinions as an individual. Who are you without that constant ringing in your ear? What are your interests and passions? What lights a fire in you?

The Power in Positive Self-Talk.
I submitted to one of my professors a video introduction, an online icebreaker. I was burdened with the task of talking about myself, and myself only, for five minutes. In the assignment I said,
"I'm a very confident person, and I see myself doing TedTalks in the future." -- Alena McTier
We have all found ourselves around someone who implements nothing but negative self talk. This can look similar to statements like "I can't do that because *insert insecure-filled excuse* so I won't try." Let me start here, I don't have friends that participate in negative self talk simply because I find it annoying. This may come off as harsh but how else should I handle it? Coddling? I could not ever.
HOW YOU VIEW YOURSELF MOLDS HOW OTHERS VIEW YOU
If you tell me that you are insignificant or worthless, there is nothing I can do to console you. You know yourself better than anyone else and if that is how you feel, you're right. If you want to be HELD to a certain standard, you must express that to others through your language and actions. If your words and actions are telling me that you a nothing more than a mere waste of time, then that is how you will be viewed. Can't be mad at anyone else, right?
WORDS BECOME REALITY, FAST
Have you ever "spoken someone up?" This occurs when you are thinking/talking about something and, all of a sudden, BOOM there it is. That is because words are POWERFUL. This is a core reason as to why we are taught to be mindful or what we say to others. The law of attraction (LOA) is very simple and states that positive thoughts become positive realities. This also applies to negative thought and negative actions. How can you expect to receive greatness when mediocrity is the only energy coming from your mouth?
BE YOUR OWN BEST FRIEND
How would you speak to a friend, coworker, or stranger on the street? Would you drown then in negative comments on their existence? Hopefully you wouldn't. We tend to be harder on ourselves for numerous reasons, and forget how damaging that can be to our subconscious mind. You must practice speaking to yourself as if you are your own best friend. Now if you have a best friend with toxic/snarky comments well, that's a for a different day.

How to be a Bad B*tch After Your '07 Britany Breakdown.
We have all been there time and time before. You find yourself slacking, the momentum is slowing down, and you aren't as motivated to hit those power points like you are used to. Honey child, you have lost your spark and I am here to help reignite it.
WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU WANT
Goals are incredibly important to movement. When you have nothing you are striving towards, you a remaining at a stand-still. Get a pretty journal (extremely cheap at Marshall's and TJ Maxx) and write down some new goals. They don't have to be life altering, my current goal is to finally attend a yoga class at my local gym. Just write SOMETHING down. If you can, incorporate a friend to also hold you accountable for your goals.
CLEAR YOUR SPACE, ALLAT
A cluttered mind can't get anything done and a cluttered space won't do any better. Clean out your closet, car, apartment etc. Don't be afraid to play some motivational music, especially Beyoncè because nothing makes you want to work harder than Beyoncè. Nothing compares to coming home after a frantic day and your home is organized. Clearing your space also applies to people. This is the opportunity to get rid of any dead weight and cutting your losses will other elevate your journey.
SELF-REFLECTION IS A MUST
Examine yourself. Why are you upset and down in the dumps? What triggered this phase in your life. I want you to get right down to the root of what has happened and pluck it. What can be done to prevent the initial seed from planting? Life requires constant reflection and learning, take these lessons and promise yourself they wont happen again.
THE VAIN ASPECT: THE LOOK
When you look good, you feel good. Take some time to reevaluate your current look and make some wanted adjustments. Responsibly invest those funds into a few new pieces, a new hairstyle, or your next full set of nails. Don't let your beauty go in vain because you were too in the dumpity to see it.
STAY AWAY FROM SOCIAL MEDIA
It is SO easy to run to social media will all of your woes because you're talking to someone without REALLY talking to someone. Your Britany Breakdown does not need to be broadcasted for the world to see because while it can lead to motivational advice, it can also need to nosey locals who love the latest gossip. You don't need to get branded as the public mess when you are working on becoming the NEXT up.

Stunting Is a Habit but Can You Afford To?
"I don't keep up with the Joneses, I am the Joneses."
Now y'all should know that I LOVE a good stunt, not because I like showing off but because I work hard for what I have and I'm proud of it. Stunting truly is a habit, and social media is the mecca for all of it. It's hard to not compare your experience with that of someone else based off of their Twitter account and Instagram photos. They are living there best life and here you are, watching them. This may lead you to feel a tad bit envious or motivated to make moves you can't quite afford. I am going to give you a few tips and tricks on how to BE the Joneses, not follow them.
IT IS NOT YOUR TIME
You are EXACTLY where you need to be in this very moment, and you are being prepped for the next move in your life. You aren't being deprived of a luxurious life because you don't deserve it or because someone else deserves it more than you, but because your focused should be elsewhere. Where are you lacking right now? Are you educating yourself, whether it be in or out of the classroom? Is your money right and your credit solid? Are you spiritually balanced and in-touch with your higher self? If the answer is no, understand that you are not whole within yourself and before you treat yourself materialistically, there must be a change within.
DON'T DISCREDIT THEIR HUSTLE
Just because you don't SEE the hustle, does not mean that there isn't work being done. You see the glam that they are posting because social media is a highlight reel but do not be fooled, they usually are working there ass off behind the scenes. As much as people like to knock the Kardashians, those women work EXTREMELY hard (word to Kris Jenner). Those who work hard usually play harder and discrediting someone else's success because they didn't let you in on the work behind it is hateful as hell.
YES, YOU CAN DO IT TOO
If they can do it, it means that you can do it. You may not follow the exact same path as the people you follow on Instagram, and given you may not have the resources or location at hand, but overall hard work takes you far. Enjoy the process and let it flow without rushing it but be honest with yourself, what are you doing to further yourself? You're jealous that she owns a business, a Youtube channel, or the car she drives when in reality you could be using that energy to hit your own goals. Watch the blueprint and adjust where you need to. Get your money up and take the trips you want or buy the bag you've dreamed of, but make sure you are doing it for your own gratification and not others.

Why It's Okay (Even Necessary) to be #GoalLess.
We live in a generation of hustle and bustle. The internet, social media, and other digital platforms have made way for people to build lavish careers. Some people can witness the moves being made by others and find inspiration, but others may find it discouraging. Watching people our age, or younger, succeeding in their careers can put an extreme amount of pressure on us. We feel like we have to be in constant grind-mode or we'll be miserable in our 30's. I would love to be retired, established before the age of 30 but the pressure takes away from the journey. I am going to spew a few opinions of my own, and the link to the video that brought about this conversation.
PREVENTS THE BURNOUT
Have you ever gone for a full-sprint and completely buckled when it was over? That's the burnout. You came out of the gate with so much energy but hit the wall at the end, and now you have to charge back up. Grinding 24/7 without taking time to recharge will ultimately force you to hit an unplanned wall. I am not saying you have to completely drop EVERYTHING but give yourself time to relaxed. You are no good without the energy needed to succeed.
YOUR BEST WORK DOES NOT HAPPEN UNDER PRESSURE
Your local artist put out a new track or project every couple of weeks. This may sound impressive like, "He is grinding, working hard, and putting out consistent work." Two-thirds of what he put out was mediocre BUT he put out so much right? Putting out moves back-to-back does not equate quality. Your audience would rather you release five works a year that are AMAZING rather than fluff to feel busy.
ENJOY THE PROCESS
I am a goal-oriented person therefore it feels almost IMPOSSIBLE to not have a goal. If I'm not striving to achieve something then I feel as though I am wasting my time. It's okay to still have minor goals in place but allow yourself to enjoy the process. Spend time reflecting on what you have already achieved, and how your life changed after these goals were hit. Take a three-day hustle-sabbatical where you don't work on anything business-related that isn't time focused. Enjoy the process, THEN get back to work.

Consistant Content Galore: How to Maintain the Buzz
It happens to he best of us. You find someone who is funny, entertaining, and deserving of your support. As you dive deeper into their content, you start to check the dates and you heart skips a beat. Nothing pains me more than coming to the conclusion that a content creator has gone INACTIVE. I've hit this hard rock on all media platforms including Youtube, Twitter, and Instagram. Yes, you can binge-watch all of their previous content and bookmark all of their blog posts but that can only occur for so long. It would be a shame if you feel under that same fate, THEREFORE I'll drop my gems on how to maintain your buzz.
CREATE CONTENT IN FORMATS YOU ENJOY
I am known for picking up and putting down projects, I've managed numerous blogs/channels/e-commerce shops, and I can tell you first-hand how important this is. If you've recorded a few videos but dread the process of editing, Youtube may not be for you or you need to hire an editor. If you aren't fond of the idea of building your views from the ground up then you may find a low count discouraging, consider writing/submitting pieces to other media platforms. If you can narrow down what platform appeals to you the most, you'll be less likely to quit.
PREP WORK
I talk about prepping content frequently on the blog but it's extremely important. You've been taught to prep your entire life whether it be school or work. When a task was completed ahead of time, it prevents stress or feelings of being over-whelmed. I'm not going to rant about this because it is explanatory. When you STAY ready, you don't have to GET ready.
DOWNLOAD/PURCHASE A CALENDAR
There are numerous benefits to creating a content schedule. If your followers know that you are going to post at the same time on particular days, they'll be more likely to tune in. This also keeps you on track in regards to preparing your content because you have set your own personal deadlines for yourself. You can use apps such as Google Calendar or purchase a cute calendar from your local Target.

Becoming a Social Media Influencer.
You've seen it, I've seen it as well. People who get sent the latest of the latest products, and gain entrance into ambassador programs, but how? We're going to get into how you can start working with brands through your social media whether you are a brand ambassador or influencer.
FIND YOUR NICHE
Your niche is your preferred market, one that you thrive in. Are you a fashion enthusiast, a photographer, or beauty guru? That is your market and where you should capitalize the most. You should focus in on one or two niches, as to not run yourself thin, and invest yourself there the most. It is better to be especially STRONG in a few areas than subpar in numerous endeavors.
STUDY THE MARKET
What are your favorite photographers doing? What are Youtuber beauty gurus reviewing at the moment? What does the community you are trying to appeal to respond to most effectively? Research is extremely important because it would answer all of these questions. If you start creating content without taking note of what your audience wants, then you'll be shooting in the dark hopping to hit that target. Find your demographic, study your consumers, and study what the brands are featuring as of lately.
INVEST IN YOUR NICHE
You may not want to spend money but I'm here to tell you, that's impossible. If you are a fashion blogger than you should invest in your wardrobe and a quality camera. Why? Because brands are looking for QUALITY. The amount of followers you have means absolutely nothing if the content is not up to their standard. Investing in your brand, whether it be through promotion or equipment, shows that you take your work seriously while also setting a professional standard.
MOVE DIFFERENT
When you are looking to work with brands, you have to move different on social media. You cannot engage in drama from your locals and you cannot spew controversial/insensitive statements, because you are representing a brand. Instead of simply posting on Instagram and walking away, you should tag those brands and fall under their profile. You should build an audience that responds to your market, your target audience. You have to adjust to using social media as a tool rather than a social past time.

Starting a YouTube Channel? Let's Talk.
Have you considered starting a YouTube channel but not sure what to do or where to start? I've had numerous YouTube channels and ultimately ended up deleting ALL of the videos I had recorded so I am going to get into where I previously made mistakes to help you avoid them completely. You're welcome!
QUALITY HAS TO MEAN SOMETHING TO YOU
When I started my channel last year, I recorded primarily from my iPhone 6. It was "okay," at best but when I would watch on my actual laptop? Cringe-worthy. My iPhone 6 may have been worthy in the earlier days of YouTube but it is 2018, and the game has changed. If you are planning on starting a channel, you'll have to understand that quality is extremely important to viewers. Why would they watch your raggedy version when there are thousands of other that pleases the eye more? I'm not saying that you can't use your phone to record in the beginning or that you need top notch equipment but at least make sure the quality is at a level where YOU would watch it.
ALGORITHMS CAN BE YOUR BFF
A great deal of the views you'll receive on YouTube will derive from the "Recommended" section that they display on the side of other videos, as well as the relevancy of your videos. YouTube tracks how many people watch your video and how long they watch it. This allows them to see how popular the video is among your audience, and they'll push it higher on the recommendation page. Engagement and streaming time mean MUCH more than the views, which may seem unbelievable. If you have 500 views on your video AND everyone who watch stayed for the entire duration of the video, you'll receive much more push than a video with 1000 views but a low retention rate.
CONSISTENCY
You probably aren't important enough where people are constantly checking for you. Not to be rude but that's just the facts THEREFORE you must fight to stay relevant. You do this by consistently posting content that keeps your audience engaged because out of sight equals out of mind. If you posted an AMAZING video that got thousands of views then went ghost, do you expect to gain more subscribers? The new ones you attract will see that you are inactive and they'll likely scroll past your page. Creating a posting schedule that you publicly explain to your audience will help you maintain a routine you can commit to, and new subscribers will know when to look forward to your pretty face.
THERE'S AN AUDIENCE FOR EVERYTHING
If you are interested in reptiles, chances are someone else is. There is an audience for everything and do not be afraid of being alone. I would only recommend that you stick with a general theme or niche. If you plan on running a beauty channel then try not to stray TOO far away from that theme in the beginning. You'll attract people who expect to see consistent videos about makeup and beauty, and then you can do occasional switch-ups. Find your niche and build a corresponding following for it, there's an audience for everything.

Why Gratitude Helps Your Law Of Attraction:
The Basics
: Every great Law of Attraction teacher will urge you to be grateful for what you have, in order to attract more. Oprah Winfrey began her gratitude journal in her late 30s, and it has resulted in her meteoric rise in all areas of her life. And in the Bible it is written “For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.”
The Question
: So why is it important to be grateful for what I have already? How does that help me attract what I don’t have?
The Answer: Whatever you want, you want for the feeling. When you have what you want, you can’t help but feel grateful. However too often when we want something we focus on the absence of it. We want it more, and more, and more. But we see it’s not here now. To bridge this distance, you need to create the feeling of having it. When you feel gratitude, the Universe hears, “He/She loves this feeling. I will continue to provide them with what they want.” The Universe has heard all your asking and is well-aware of what would make you smile right now. The task: By hand, list things you’re grateful for. Do this at an honest level. It should not resemble your shopping list! Get real about what matters to you and why. Above is an example to help you get started!
*If you would like to receive personal help with your manifestation or any area of your life that isn’t prospering, please do message*
