I just woke up and realized something.

In the script on ep 9, Silco was supposed to wipe Jinx's tear.

But what I realized just now, is that it was supposed to be a parallel with ep 6.

It's literally the same angle, and we know how Arcane is full of parallels.

And it clearly shows a big, big change in Jinx's mind. Because that means that even in her head Silco becomes the person who truly supports her, who truly loves her, the person she will fight for until her last breath, and if I may go a little too far maybe, the person she'll try to see again no matter what that means. (Taking his place just to have a glimpse of him ?) Anyways, this clearly shows who she follows from now on and how she seems both Vi and Silco, who in EP 9 were fighting to make each other the villain in jinx's head, and so to be the 'good person' in her eyes.

She chose her side, and it's really emphasized by this parallel.

Long story short, in their old lore Jinx didn't remember any of the things that happened in the new lore (AKA Arcane). I have a theory it has to do with the shimmer and that it somehow erased some of her memories as a side effect and that's why she's so happy and quirky later and has no conscience whatsoever. Yeap, I checked their voice lines and stories again and I also read another reblog saying that Vi is the one with memory loss lmao. My bad. I just thought that now that Riot made Arcane canon some things could change considering they also introduced us shimmer and seeing how powerful it is, so I was like "Hey! What if it had other side effects instead of just making Jinx stronger and faster and crazier, what if it erased childhood memories and sister bonds mwhahahahsh"

O my gosh you're right. I checked out Vi's bio and story again and I have totally forgotten about that. It was just a theory that popped in my head 😅 And since shimmer is kinda powerful I thought hey what if Jinx totally forgot about their childhood and even their relationship. But yea I should have been more clear when I was explaining it on the previous post.
