Breaking Dawn is still my favourite. New Moon was (and still is) so hard for me to get through (I should have skipped it entirely but my ocd won't let me do that!). I am still team Edward and I still adore the found family of the Cullens (that trope gets me every time!). My Midnight Sun review is up on Goodreads. How do you feel about The Twilight Saga? Love it? No, sorry. 🤣 I am blaming it on the fact that I'm not with my books right now and I haven't taken new pics in a while! ⁣ ⁣ 2020 has been a year.... A year of many things, but mostly for me, a year of change. It's the year my daughter first started primary school among many other things. With Covid19 it's also been a year of Lockdown, a change of habits, a time for family and for really looking at what matters in life.⁣ ⁣ Along with all of those changes, it's been a year of diversifying my reading. She broke the rest." ⁣ ⁣ Totally feeling Lila today I have to say! ⁣ What I love about Lila is that throughout the series, she takes on the role of Hero, more traditionally left for a man while Kell balances things out, is a caretaker. ⁣ ⁣ She's surly, proud, independent, yes sometimes even irritatingly so! But she's also loyal, smart and never loses sight of the things that she wants in life. She isn't reserved, she isn't ladylike and she's completely unapologetic. She's just Lila, and I love that she has the confidence to be exactly that. ⁣ ⁣ Lila Bard - yay or nay? I've just shared the post in my story.⁣ ⁣ Last weekend I went with my little family for a weekend getaway in the bush where we spent a few nights around a campfire, and our days out on game drives. There was however ZERO mobile network and the WiFi in camp was limited. I decided to take the time to disconnect from my phone and social media and instead connect to the people I was with. It was quite glorious! However it's taken me a while to catch back up, both on work and social media!
