January Reading Round-Up

Want to Review LGBT Books?

Hey everyone! I’d like to set up an LGBT+ book review blog and I’m wondering if there’s any interest amongst LGBT+-identifying JETs in being a reviewer!

The info: While there are great book blogs dedicated to specific queer-related stuff (e.g. www.lesbrary.com for all books lesbian), I’m envisioning a website with a mix of genres and no specific emphasis on one orientation or identity. I also want a blog that doesn't separate between literary vs. commercial, realistic vs. fantasy, or "respectable" fiction vs. smutty "trash."

I want people to come away with great recs for everything from the poet Ocean Vuong to literary lesbian powerhouse Sarah Waters to self-published m/m.

I’d ask that reviewers submit reviews at least once per month, going on a rotating schedule.

I’d be looking to launch this in mid-late September.

Also link to any relevant social media, such as your book blog or bookstagram (optional) 6. Finally, let me know what kind of books you’d prefer to review - i.e. gay comics, queer YA, ace fiction, etc. Feel free to be general or specific; we’ll work on the details later. Poetry, nonfiction, comics/web comics, etc., are also all good.
