What a good price for this 1890 pink quartz home in Sioux City, IA. 5bds, 4ba, 4,636 sq ft, $575k.

They decorated for Xmas so it looks pretty. Beautiful foyer. Look at the wood- perfection.

Stunning entrance hall. Notice the intricate carving on the newel post.

The keeping room is so lovely. That fireplace is a beauty. Stained glass windows and gorgeous molding complete the look.

The sitting room is so beautiful, and I actually love the draperies. Lovely corner fireplace.

Adorable 1/2 bath. That little pedestal sink is so cute and doesn't overwhelm the room.

Beautiful formal dining room is right outside the kitchen.

The kitchen remodel is spot on. The wood cabinetry matches the house perfectly and I like their choice of counters.

I love this library. Look at the wonderful ladder.

The bedrooms are nice, but nothing special. They would nice with more decor.

I like the size of the rooms.

Nice linen closet in the hallway.

Large half bath has another beautiful sink.

This is a large 2 room suite, so it must be the primary bedroom.

Very nice bath reno. Love the shower room, vintage tile and tub.

It looks like the bedroom in the finished attic may either be used as the primary or a guest room.

Beautifully finished family room with a kitchenette.

There's an additional bedroom up here, also.

Plus, a modern shower room.

Look at the great workroom/garage.

The Princess Bride is such a funny book to read after ONLY seeing the movie. Like Goldman made up a fake author from a fake country and proceeded to write the book as an abridged version of what the fake author wrote... and then he proceeds to add in notes to the "abridged version" mentioning all the boring world building stuff he skipped because it was boring.

Like shout out to William Goldman, man really did make an entire book that is just "the cool scenes you thought of in your head" and then made up a fake author to abridge so he doesn't have to connect them.

Daily reminder that we do not actually live in a dystopian movie put the apocalypse down and back away slowly. You know when your cleaning a room and you pull everything out of it's draws to sort through it and you're like "what the fuck have I done I'm never going to be able to tidy all of this" I think that's the stage we're at in the world. Thanks to social media we've pulled out all the messed up shit from the cupboards of the world, it was always there but now we can see it and we're going to have to sort it all out we made this mess and we can fix it. Falling to the floor sobbing will not clean a crusty room. A group of people working systematically (preferably with music in the background) will.
