I know they're named after him but for reasons I can't fully articulate it's hilarious that the guy who invented zeppelins was named Ferdinand von Zeppelin

“This is a proud day for quarters-owners everywhere,” said the organization’s president, Charles Davison, in his keynote address. “Year after year, we have sent a loud and clear message to the federal government and to anyone else who would attack our unassailable rights: Hands off our cottages, livery stables, and haylofts.”
The NAQA was created in 1816 in response to repeated violations of the Third Amendment during the War of 1812. The organization quickly grew in influence and cites its vigilance as the primary reason why the amendment has only been litigated once in a federal court since the Bill of Rights was ratified. The organization is also arguably the country’s most powerful political lobby; every politician elected since 1866 has fully supported Third Amendment rights.

The keeping room is so lovely. That fireplace is a beauty. Stained glass windows and gorgeous molding complete the look.

The sitting room is so beautiful, and I actually love the draperies. Lovely corner fireplace.
Tumblr media
Adorable 1/2 bath. That little pedestal sink is so cute and doesn't overwhelm the room.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Beautiful formal dining room is right outside the kitchen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The kitchen remodel is spot on. The wood cabinetry matches the house perfectly and I like their choice of counters.
Tumblr media
I love this library. Look at the wonderful ladder.
Tumblr media
The bedrooms are nice, but nothing special. They would nice with more decor.
Tumblr media
I like the size of the rooms.
Tumblr media
Nice linen closet in the hallway.
Tumblr media
Large half bath has another beautiful sink.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a large 2 room suite, so it must be the primary bedroom.
Tumblr media
Very nice bath reno. Love the shower room, vintage tile and tub.
Tumblr media
It looks like the bedroom in the finished attic may either be used as the primary or a guest room.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Beautifully finished family room with a kitchenette.
Tumblr media
There's an additional bedroom up here, also.
Tumblr media
Plus, a modern shower room.
Tumblr media
Look at the great workroom/garage.
Tumblr media
The porch is so beautiful
Tumblr media
What a gorgeous home for less than $600k. Lot measures .72 acre.

The Princess Bride is such a funny book to read after ONLY seeing the movie. Like Goldman made up a fake author from a fake country and proceeded to write the book as an abridged version of what the fake author wrote... and then he proceeds to add in notes to the "abridged version" mentioning all the boring world building stuff he skipped because it was boring.
Like shout out to William Goldman, man really did make an entire book that is just "the cool scenes you thought of in your head" and then made up a fake author to abridge so he doesn't have to connect them.
And it slaps

Daily reminder that we do not actually live in a dystopian movie put the apocalypse down and back away slowly. You know when your cleaning a room and you pull everything out of it's draws to sort through it and you're like "what the fuck have I done I'm never going to be able to tidy all of this" I think that's the stage we're at in the world. Thanks to social media we've pulled out all the messed up shit from the cupboards of the world, it was always there but now we can see it and we're going to have to sort it all out we made this mess and we can fix it. Falling to the floor sobbing will not clean a crusty room. A group of people working systematically (preferably with music in the background) will.
