Just released my new book. I'm further exploring how rednecks react to their own homosexuality. Naturally, there is some denial and some hemming and hawing about it.
"Best buddies and confirmed straight men Chip Marsden and Whit Colburn had heard rumors about an almost-mythical “Boom-Boom Room” opening soon in their hometown. One night, their curiosity got the best of them, and they wound up getting more than they bargained for. Their friendship was about to be tested to its utmost limit. What went on there was something neither had ever suspected, and they might not get out with their virginity - or their sanity - intact. Contains graphic adult non-heterosexual situations, male nudity, and coarse language. Reader discretion is strongly advised."
The sexuality is extremely raw and unrelenting once they have no choice but to accept it.
This book is available on Amazon in paperback. Ebook coming soon.

Sometimes a challenge presents itself that you have to step up to the plate and take a swing at: a murder mystery at Christmas at a northern Minnesota nudist resort - nude people and snow don't normally mix, that was the challenge. I made it work and I'm actually pretty proud of myself for how it turned out.
"It’s the holiday season at Happy Valley Naturist Society, and the snow is flying. It’s the one time of year when the nudists wear clothing, both to keep warm and to enjoy the holidays. During a particular bad snowstorm, the owner of the resort goes missing, only to wind up dead in a snow drift. Jesse Montgomery, the head of security at the facility, has to discover who committed the vile crime. The suspects are few: Claude, the old friend of Horace’s from their college days who has always been jealous of Horace’s success; Horace’s ex-wife Irina who’s visiting the resort with hopes of rekindling their once-loving relationship; Tuffy Monroe, the new exercise trainer who seemed to have a sore spot where the boss was concerned over the strictness of resort policies; and Tim Mason, the truck driver marooned at the resort when his rig breaks down on the highway nearby, who seems to have an axe to grind with Horace. Things get complicated quickly, and it doesn’t take long for the holiday spirit to die a quick death as Jesse mounts his new investigation.
Who hated the generous and good-natured Horace enough to want him dead? That’s what Jesse has to discover as the countdown to Christmas is ticking time away. But will he be able to solve the crime in time to enjoy Christmas with his new wife Christie?"

Book 3 in The Bar None Dude Ranch gay romance series.
"Chris is looking for a change. His life has stagnated, and his love life is virtually nonexistent. He’s grown bored with life in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The guys he’s interested in are all moving out of town, being replaced by younger, slimmer versions that do nothing for his libido. One night, on a rare occasion that he goes to a gay bar, Chris happens to notice a stack of business flyers near the door, advertising a once-in-a-lifetime getaway to a recreation of an old west town that’s only for gay men. His interest piqued, he researches the place on the internet and makes his plans to go to The Bar None Dude Ranch.
Mac McEnroe is a twenty-something who longs to meet someone older and more worldly-wise. His job as a courier doesn’t pay well and the working conditions aren’t great, but he’s saved enough money for a trip from St. Paul down to Houston, where he’s heard there is a treasure trove of men waiting to be discovered at, of all places, a dude ranch. For a young confused bisexual, Mac wants affirmation that his life is worth something. He’s not finding it in his girlfriend Maggie’s arms, so he thinks that maybe he’ll find it at the Ranch."
Explicit adult situations, some language.

Great 5-star review for Murder In The Buff. I'm hoping the reader discovers the sequel and enjoys it as much.

I just released my 105th book, the sequel to my popular "Murder In The Buff" mystery novel. This one is even more puzzling and may well be the best thing I've written.
"Being the resident head of security at a popular nudist collective known as The Happy Valley Naturist Society, where the rich and privileged come to play and leave their cares and their clothes behind, Jesse Mongomery thought he had the job of his dreams. No longer did he have to pursue unscrupulous criminals all around the streets of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Keeping the resort’s clients safe and happy had been easy enough since he took the job. Little did he know that it was all bound to come to an end when he was asked to investigate another murder on the resort’s grounds.
An up-and-coming tech CEO is found floating face-down in the main pool, and there are precious few witnesses. Whoever killed Dean Simms knew how to hide from the security cameras to perform the dastardly deed. The potential list of suspects is alarmingly small: the intern Simms had once wronged in an ill-fated relationship; the priest who had been counseling Simms through his mental and spiritual struggles; the waiter at the resort’s nightclub that had a very public argument with the victim just hours before his death; and Lacey Carmichael, the star of the musical revue who Simms decided to heckle during her performance. While Jesse thought there might be other suspects in the wings, these four were at the top of his list.
Even at a nudist resort, the truth will be uncovered!
Just when you thought it was safe to go naked again."

A collection of my back-cover author photos. I have used each one at some point in my writing career, depending on the type of book I'm putting out there, though I much prefer the 4th one.

Just finished and submitted my new book, a choose-your-path space-fantasy adventure. I have written books for my young niece every year since she was born, and this is the latest.
"The youngest cadet ever of the Earth Space Federation, Bailey found herself tasked with the job of locating a celestial being known only as the Space Unicorn, a mystical and magical creature that is said to be able to take the form of almost any living being it chooses, though it most often prefers to look like a Unicorn.
Her mission, along with her best friend Myra, takes her to the edge of the Orion System, where her information tells her that the Unicorn was last presumed to be on Arcturus-6, the coldest planetoid known to humankind. Once they land on Pluto, their adventure really begins.
This is a reader-participation book, where your choices decide which direction Bailey and the story will go. Some of Bailey’s choices might lead her into dangerous situations, so make your decisions wisely."

Once upon a time (2016, to be exact), I wrote and illustrated a six-issue comic book series based on the renaissance faire I perform in, with many of my castmates in cartoon form. I scripted and drew ten issues but only printed the first six. They are all out of print.

A choose-your-path horror adventure.
"In 1971, the manager of the St. Sebastian Hotel went insane and brutally murdered his wife and children, along with several guests before turning the gun on himself. The hotel was shut down. In 1990, a group of teenagers broke into the hotel to have a party in it. The police found their corpses a week later. What is the connection? Or is there a connection? Authorities aren’t sure if one of the teen’s went mad and killed the others or if, as local rumors can be believed, the angry spirits of the manager and his victims are to blame for the deaths. In order to find out all the facts in the case, a master detective has been recruited to enter the rundown, deserted building and unravel the mystery and put an end to all the bizarre stories about the Hotel.
You, the reader, are Detective Richard Algonquin in this story, trying to uncover the reasons for the 1971 murders and the 1990 ones as well. You will have full rein of the investigation, making the decisions that will ultimately lead to the outcome of the case, either solving the mystery or becoming another of the ghosts that roam the Hotel’s lonely corridors. If you are brave enough to open this book, you could solve the mystery of a lifetime… if you live through it!
Are the dangers that fuel all the local legends real, or the product of a community with too much imagination for its own good? The choices are yours, for better or for worse. Contains scenes of horror and blood."

"Friendships can be a funny thing. Everybody needs friends, right? So what made Bobby and Mr. Hudson's friendship so different? Davis Hudson was a high school teacher, and Bobby was his student. Their unlikely friendship changed both their lives in immeasurable ways. They depended on each other, even saved each other's lives. These three stories span twenty years of their friendship, the bad as well as the good. These are stories of how love between friends helps them survive. "The Silver Bass" is an award-winning short story. The other two stories are its sequels, continuing what began in the first."

"Poetry is one of mankind’s oldest and most enduring ways to express himself and his feelings. It can speak volumes about love or sorrow, war and wrath. Inside this book are many different poems that look at life from a viewpoint many are uncomfortable associating with. Deep depression. Nihilism. Anger. Political dissatisfaction. Societal dissociation. Written in 2005 and 2006 during a particularly dark part of my life, these words tell a story of someone who desperately wants to isolate himself from the world. Some read almost like suicide notes. All are as valid now as they were over a decade ago when they were written. The words contained between these covers were conceived as lyrics for heavy metal songs, inspired greatly by W.A.S.P. during their K.F.D. stage. In some ways, the words came out therapeutically to help weather the constant storms living in south Florida caused in my life. Particular titles such as “Sunshine”, “Swansong”, and “All Fall Down” with their apocalyptic imagery show a side rarely ever shown publicly. But they remain part of who I am. Once you’ve read these poems and tried to understand what is being said, maybe some deeper knowledge of my self can be seen. CHARCOAL SOUL delves into several depths of my personality. I truly believe my soul has grown dark because of what I’ve been subjected to since childhood. This is me. This is who I am. Until something darker comes along…"

Cyrus takes it upon himself to travel across vast plains, cross raging rivers, climb treacherous mountains, and visit dangerous villages on his quest to end his misshapen spells. Accompanying him on his quest are his three friends: fellow Wizard Bif Shallowgrave, Knight Errant Sir Percival du Chance, and former Princess Siobhan Arabella.
