Update; I used my cane for the first time in public and it went good! It took a lot of courage but it helped soooo much !! Yay!!!!

Woah, haven't been on this account in a while! Ive been super busy w Uni and just general life stuff, i might be hopping on here more hopefully :3

Anyways, im hoping back on because i need advice from fellow mobility aid users,,,

tldr, ive come to terms with the fact I might need a cane because ive been suffering with a lot of chronic pain (lower back, knees, hips). Im still 50/50 because I feel like i shouldn't need one since im not diagnosed, but its really starting to ruin my outings with friends :(

My main struggle is having to face friends and family with my new cane; I feel as though my family might think im exaggerating (same with my friends) and im very nervous to order one, never the less use it in public. Its hard since I don't have any friends that use mobility aids that I can rely on for advice, and my parents mostly see mobility aids as something only for older people :/ Does anyone have any tips or tricks on getting over this anxiety?

Gillion Tidestrider Age Regressor Headcanons

🔱 when he was in his early-mid teens, edyn wanted him to be able to be a kid again (since he didn’t really get to) so she asked him if he wanted to try age dreaming in his small amount of free time

🔱 at one point he accidentally regressed during training and he got so scared he didn’t age dream again for the rest of his days in the undersea

🔱 one day after joining the riptide pirates and becoming more comfortable, he accidentally regressed while playing with ollie

🔱 after having a talk with his fellow captains about his regression, the two were more than happy to be his caregivers!

🔱 he’s a very energetic little and he constantly tries to climb the various ropes on the ship. he’s definitely broken things before on accident, but usually someone is able to stop him before he does.

🔱 playing with ollie can go one of two ways: he and ollie lay down on the main deck and draw peacefully until gil falls asleep from laying in the sun OR they rile each other up and are the most chaotic but adorable duo

🔱 he LOVES to swim (even more than when he’s big) so he’ll bother jay and chip until they put the anchor down and go swimming with him. he loves to find little things in the ocean to give to his crew and always makes his arrival back to the surface of the water known by spitting a fountain of water into the sky

🔱 sure, jay and chip are technically his main caregivers, but pretzel is the real best caregiver. pretzel has easily mastered the art of puppy dog eyes, so gil can’t possibly refuse when she tries to get him to take care of himself. even jay and chip trust her enough to leave little gil alone with her when they have to.

🔱 after running around the ship, he always gets super sleepy. he will drag one, if not both of his caregivers down below deck and cuddle until he falls asleep

Age Regressor Jay with Chip and Gillion Caregivers

🪶 Jay regresses to about 4-6 most of the time and sometimes 1-3

🪶 she calls chip “buba” and gillion “gillie”

🪶 gillion loves showering her in gifts. every time they stop in a town or city he will buy her a new doll or toy.

🪶 he made her a bunch of wooden building blocks and he, jay, chip,and ollie spent all day painting images and colors onto them

🪶 she likes building towers out of them and seeing how long they can stay standing with the rocking of the ship, but she cries every time they fall :(((

🪶 chip is very good at comforting her when she’s sad. he will either try to make her laugh or just hug her and give her comforting words.

🪶 jay is very cuddly when she’s small. she’s constantly trying to hug gillion and chip or hold onto their arms

🪶 as soon as jay realized that gill was definitely strong enough to carry her easily, she would not stop asking for him to pick her up every time she sees him.

🪶 the three of them have this game they play where gillion will have jay ride on his back and he will run around the ship while chip chases them. ollie will join sometimes and chase them as well

wonderlust agere headcannons!!!

these r obviously just first session vibes and may be subject to change. i may add more each episode we get. idk. pls be niceys to me im so scared.

mostly runt and troy bc thats who i have most thoughts abt, sorry blink...

runt is very capable. she wants to be very capable. she wants to prove herself!! she can do things for herself despite the pain!!!!!! don't baby her!!!!!!!!!!! (she will accept being babied very very rarely. on particularly bad pain days. but for the most part she has to be sneakily coaxed into doing things, or helped in a subtle way so she doesn't notice she's being helped.)

troy on the other hand falls into being dependent hard. very physically affectionate kiddo, altho it takes him a bit of time to warm up to the idea of not having to earn affection.

both of them can be very rowdy kids. lots of energy and lots of mischief.

this isnt specifically agere but troy strikes me as sensory-seeking autistic. likes to be tossed around or swung etc etc.

runt has lots of little projects to tinker with when small so she doesn't accidentally mess up her big projects.

runt likes being a big sister* to troy, either when theyre both small or he's small and she isnt. it makes a nice change to not be the youngest in the room.

uncle threestrings lullaby momence??? idk. he seems like the type.

blink's feathers are very very soft but it takes a long long time for them to be comfortable with anyone touching them.

*sister in terms of regression friends. i value non-familial platonic relationships. i need that to be known. i do not view them as siblings outside of regression.

diaper stuff below the cut:

okay listen i know troy's "accident" in the first session was 100% played for laughs bc haha funny but. im disabled. get that boy diapers in and out of headspace. take my hand. disabilities can be uncomfortable to talk abt but im going to lazerbeam him.

runt i think wud object to diapers cuz she's a big kid except for days when her pain is particularly bad and she's struggling to get out of bed. at which point she'd begrudgingly accept the help but grumble and be generally uncomfortable the whole time.

i think troy might try and help her feel better abt it with the worlds most awkward conversation that leaves them both embarrassed by the end, but ultimately brings them closer.

cw // exile, little bit of angst

-> He started involuntary regressing during (ish) pogtopia era, though it started becoming more frequent during exile

-> During exile, he tried his best to control when he would do it, keeping it a secret from cDream as long as possible

-> When cDream eventually did a surprise visit and found out about his regression, he wasn't very pleased and ended up blowing up everything that was attached to cTommy's regression

-> He hadn't let himself regress until he was finally safe and made sure that cDream was locked up.

-> After this he started regressing on his own, never telling anyone else again out of fear

-> After he was killed and brought back, his mental health plummeted. He would have frequent panic attacks or flinch at any loud noises

-> One time when he was sleeping over with cTubbo & cRanboo, he ended up regressing and feeling very very little

-> cRanboo found him in his bed, quietly babbling to himself. They ended up connecting the dots and cRanboo ended up reading him a bedtime story so he could fall asleep

-> The next day they bring it up and cTommy gets really embarrassed until the other tells him that they want to help

-> With a bit (a lot) of encouragement, cTommy finally tells cTubbo about his regression too and both cTubbo and cRanboo quickly become his caregivers!

Now for some more random headcanons!!

-> His little age is 0-7, but he ends up usually on the smaller side

-> cTommy has chronic nightmares that often cause him to regress, so on most nights you'll find him in cBeeduo's bed

-> Michael LOVES having another kid to play with! They have a blast colouring together <3

-> He tends to go non verbal a lot when little, so cRanboo made him some communication cards!

-> He literally steals allll the sweaters, specifically cRanboo's since they're so tall and they make him feel small

-> Whenever he gets panic attacks when he's little, either of his caregivers sing him lullabies and run their hands through his hair

-> Being sick = tiny cTommy

-> cTubbo and cRanboo spoilll him sm, when they find out he has no little gear they practically get everything for him; A red pacifier, Dozens of plushies, Teethers, Stim toys, Everything!! Most of his toys are shared with Michael tho :)

-> Doesn't regress with anyone else out of fear :(

-> Whenever he's little and cBeeduo have to go out, he holds their hands and swings them

-> He gets coddled a lot when he has pain flair-ups, and even gets bubble baths ^^

-> Absolutely LOVES going flower picking with his caregivers + Michael!! cBeeduo keeps vases and hang the dried ones around their house :))
