How many chapters do you plan for the Encanto/Pokemon crossover ? And why is Isabela your favorite character ?

Honestly, I don't know. Hopefully below 50 but if it goes above it then I'm fine with it. I don't really want to rush the story since being a perfectionist, if I don't feel satisfied with my writing, I would lose motivation to finish it and this story is one of the one's that I really want to see through to the very end. I want to be able to feel pride on how far I've gone and reread it without feeling a little cringe and dying on the inside like one of my old stories that I made.

As for why Isabela is my favorite, besides being fun to watch and the sheer versatile of her gift that I can go ham on the creativity, Isabela is a character that at a first glance look one dimensional. A character that can easily be hated and flanderized if someone isn't really willing to look below the surface (Or don't care to look). I always like complex characters like that, the one that you don't like at first but grow to like overtime. A character that actions I find questionable at first given context with the foresight of the second and more watch. That's what Isabela is to me. A character that takes effort to like. Heck, before I like Isabela, my favorite was Luisa. Not saying Luisa isn't a complex character, it's just that she's kind of easy to love at first watch since her troubles are easier to pick up and relate to compare to Isabela. Not helping that Luisa was kinder to Mirabel compare to Isabela.

But on a personal note, I feel that I can relate to her the most. Being the 'golden child' of my family is really tough, parents expect a lot from me and it's always physically and mentally exhausting. I was always hold up to be an example for my other siblings and someone to be flaunt at to everybody else. I was constantly stressed and force to do lots of things that I hated so much so that I got physically weak and got sick to the point that hospital visit become a frequent thing for me. It got so bad that my big sis have to intervene because I was basically working myself to death because I don't want to disappoint them. So seeing her break out of that unhealthy perfectionist persona and listening to 'what else can I do' and basically being her 'true' self was like an eye opener for me. Like I can have my own moment like that (Minus the singing, I suck at singing.). That and I admire how she can hold out that long without growing crazy. I was lucky to have an older sister that I can go to for support when things get too much, I can't imagine going through something like that alone. It's really why I fell in love with her character.
