Quick update!

This last year has been a lot… the burnout is real folks. To sum it up, work is overwhelming but my husband has been super supportive and has helped take the load off at home a bit.

I work at an animal hospital and the amount of assholes that stroll through the clinic and come in to yell at us and berate us for our COVID policies (which are out of our control anyway), is ridiculous. Not just that but we’re constantly understaffed, I’m doing like three people’s job and not even getting a dime for my troubles, the caseload just grows and grows and upper management is too stupid to realize what it’s doing to their staff.

I haven’t been writing as much as I’d like, it doesn’t help that I have too many hyperfixations and can barely focus on one for more than a month or so (or for the normal amount for a normal human being).

All that to say, I’m going to ease back into this blog. I’ll take it easy with requests and try to limit it to five or so a week until I feel more comfortable or confident again.

Like I said, the burnout is real 😭

Day 2: Sleeping in (Toshinori Yagi x reader)

There’s something so soft about the early morning. Quiet and undisturbed. The muted light of the sun peeking through the curtains, the sound of cars starting in the distance to get to their destination. Everyone starting their day with their own routines. Your gentle sleep was roused when you turned over on your side and felt the weight taking the space next to you.

“Toshi?” You asked sleepily as the cogs of your mind started turning, you sat up and looked behind him at the alarm clock on the nightstand. “Baby, you’re gonna be late.” You shook his shoulder again in an attempt to wake him up,

“S’okay, babe, Aizawa’s leading the lesson today.” He grumbled as his arm wrapped around your waist and pulled you in close. You turned on your side to face him, your fingers trailing through his blonde hair, brushing the longer strands behind his ear,

“Are you sure?”

“A’solutely, ‘sides you can’t tell me you don’t wanna stay here.” His grip around your waist got tighter as if to prove his point, his legs tangled with yours as you nuzzled into his chest,

“It’s nice and waarm~” He added in a sing-song tone, his voice still thick with sleep,

“As if I need more convincing.” You sighed as you ran your nails up and down his back, light enough to be soothing and lull him back to sleep. Toshinori kissed the top of your head, inhaling your scent and letting the warmth of your body envelop him, starting from his toes all the way to his tired eyes.

“Good night, sweetheart.” He sighed, his arms wrapping around you and squeezing you tight,

“Good night, Toshi.” You giggled, placing a gentle kiss on his chest.

With that, the soul filling warmth dragged you both into the depths of your dreams. While the rest of the world continued to wake up and start their routines, you stayed in the comfort of the arms of the man you loved. Relishing in the warm safety he provided. While he stayed intoxicated by the feeling of legs tangled with his, your steady breathing with the occasional soft snore, and the light twitches of your muscles, signaling your deep sleep.

The world can wait, because long as he was in your arms, Toshinori Yagi is yours and yours alone.

Day 1: Gift shopping (Aizawa x reader ft. Eri)

“How is it that you spoil my students more than I care to?” Groaned Aizawa as you dragged him to the third store of the day,

“They’ve had a rough year, they deserve something special and you know it.” You argued as you peruse the store, you were at a crossroads. Make small gift baskets for them with personalized gifts? Or get the same thing for everyone to avoid playing favorites?

“Don’t go too far, Eri!” You called out as you kept an eye on the little girl, she was captivated by the various trinkets in the store, Aizawa following close behind her. She gasped and ran back over to you, pulling on your hand, demanding your attention,

“What about this?” She asked, you turned and kneeled to her level,

“Wow, Eri that’s beautiful!” You said as you took the trinket from her hand, “You know, you just gave me an idea!” Her eyes sparkled as you took her hand and asked her to get more.

“What’s the deal, Mr. Aizawa? Why are we all gathered here?” Asked Mina from her spot on the couch, different students spoke up in agreement as they all gathered in the common area,

“You guys have had a tough year, so we figured you would appreciate a small gift.” Aizawa spoke, his hands deep in his pockets, his hair tied back, and an imperceptible blush on his cheeks.

“We?”

All questions turned into silence as you, Eri, and Mirio walked in the room with massive gift baskets in your hands. Once you set yours down, you took the one from Eri and seamlessly scooped her up and rested her on your hip. You greeted the young class with a bright smile and open arms once Eri hopped down and ran to Midoriya. Aizawa watched with nothing but affection and adoration in his eyes. The way your smile crinkled your nose, the warmth and tender care in your voice as you addressed each of his students, the glow in your cheeks, and the sparkle in your eyes. He absorbed all of it watching from the sidelines.

You are everything to him.

“Are you guys ready for your gifts?” You asked with a giggle that turned into a laugh as the class shouted excitedly,

“Settle down.” Was all it took from Aizawa to get the class to calm down and watch with bated breath,

“Eri picked them out for you guys, I just helped wrap and put it together.” You said with a fond smile as your hand gently rested on the little girl’s head,

“Go ahead, Eri, start handing them out.” Said Mirio encouragingly, a bright smile and joyful spark in his eyes as he started passing the gifts to Eri.

You walked over to Aizawa and leaned into his side, his arm wrapping around your shoulders and holding you close. With a sigh you rested your head on his chest,

“This is good for them, Shota, they needed this.” He kissed the top of your head and hummed in agreement as Midoriya started weeping when Eri handed him a monogrammed mug and an All Might figurine in it. Each student received a mug with their initials on it with a personal gift in it.

“A tangible reminder of the impact they have, and all the good they’re capable of.” He said, verbally completing your train of thought, you looked up at him like he hung the stars in the sky,

“Don’t worry, I won’t tell them that the personal gifts are from you.” You teased as you kissed the underside of his chin,

“It wouldn’t be such a bad thing if you did.” He grumbled under his breath with a dusting of a blush on his cheeks.

“Are you sure about that?”

“On second thought-” You laughed and leaned up on your toes to peck him on the lips,

“You’re lucky I love you.”

Can I ask for Momo and Shoto with a photographer reader that gets excited over the smallest things like seeing trees in the forest and sees a lot of little things and it just makes them really happy and they love to show their pictures to people but get really flustered and blushy when they get compliments on them.

I’ve been good! Work has been a lot but otherwise I’m good! I love this!

Shoto Todoroki:

• To him, it’s like you see the magic in everything, and every time he sees your picture, he can feel that wonder and awe in every photo you take

• All your outings are planned around how it’ll be outside, what the weather’s like, how much natural lighting there’ll be, when the golden hour is, people in the area, etc.

• He’ll gladly carry around your equipment for you

• He loves seeing how focused you are

• Major heart eyes every time you gasp and raise your camera, waiting for the right moment to snap that picture

• Loves going with you to develop your pictures and will give heartfelt critique if you ask, mostly he’ll spend the time looking over your shoulder at the pictures you took

• One day he surprises you, putting a blindfold around your eyes and taking your hand

• When he takes off the blindfold, you’re standing in a gallery with all your pictures on the walls and all your friends around you

• Your face was so hot as they flooded you with praise

• Shoto watched from beside you as you buried your face in your hands

Momo Yaoyarozu:

• She loves going with you to take pictures because it’s so calming and liberating for her

• Watching you focused and looking through the lens of your camera

• She loves that you can see wonder in everything

• Her heart skips a beat everytime you gasp and crouch to get that perfect shot, she admires your focus and get lost in that sparkle in your eyes

• It’s the one time she feels comfortable enough to drop her guard and just… be

• Just exist in the moment here with you

• She’ll ask you so many questions in between pictures and when it’s time to develop them

• She wants to know and understand everything!

• She’s so inspired, she goes out and gets her own camera.

• She shows up to your next photo shoot with her own camera bag and a blush on her cheeks

• The day becomes magical

• With the help of your friends, you put a gallery together with the pictures you both took

• Momo’s eyes are sparkling as she walks in and sees your red blushy face, ready to walk her through the gallery

• She knows how shy you are about your pictures, so the fact that you did this, is monumental for her

• She loves you so much and she’s so proud of you

As if the day wasn’t already magical, here you are walking to the middle of the dance floor with your now husband. Your hands were a little shaky and a little clammy, the day’s excitement finally catching up to you. As if sensing your trepidation, Izuku gave your hand a light squeeze, his own signature smile sending waves of comfort through you. As always, he was your rock.

His hand found its home on your waist as yours rested on his shoulder, you rested your forehead against his, his breath fanning over your cheeks. The piano started playing and you two began swaying,

“You look so beautiful, honey.” He sighed, a blush dusting his freckles cheeks,

“I love you, Izuku.” You felt tears of joy prickle at your eyes

“I love you too, Mrs. Mid-” His words were cut short as the song stopped, you looked up at him and then back at Kaminari, who winked at you from the DJ table,

“Oh no.”

The sound of bells started chiming through the speakers as your closest friends jogged onto the dance floor, the girls wearing dresses and the guys wearing tuxedos.

“Oh you guys.” Sighed Izuku as he hugged you close to him, the glossy look in his eyes made your heart melt. You rested your head against his chest,

Your scent grounding him, reminding him that this is real. That you’re really here. That you’re really together forever now.

• They are shocked

• They find out by complete accident

• They’re all dragging their feet back to the dorms, particularly exhausted by the day’s training

• And there you are, sitting on the side of the building, a little toddler running circles around you

• As soon as Aizawa came into view, you smiled the brightest smile as you brought the child closer to you

• He looked at his class and groaned, but he made his way over to you nonetheless

• “Daddy!” Shouted the child with outstretched arms

• “Daddy?!”

• You could hear collective sound of their brains trying to process what they were seeing

• “I’m sorry to drop in like this honey, she was so anxious to see you.” You said with an apologetic smile as she wiggled out of your arms and latched onto him

Aizawa dating a reader who has a cracheaded cat? I'll literally wake up to my cat either stealing my honeybuns, getting into my trash, or tipping her litterbox over. She also growls really loud when she gets the zoomies for some reason? I'll literally just be sitting on my bed and she'll run out of my room growling like a demon then come back, get under my bed, and growl again.

I think my cat does drugs but anyways, how would Aizawa react? Lmao.

• At first, he finds it hilarious

• During the day when your cat goes all hyper speed and bolts around your apartment, he’ll film it on his phone

• Watching it throughout the day, listening to your breathless laughter with a wide smile on his face

• But then it’s 2am on a Sunday night and he hears the sound of something being knocked over, his eyes open and he jumps into action immediately, waking you up in the process

• He stood there watching as your cat zoomed through the destruction she caused until she finally knocked the trash bin over and began chewing on the discarded box of pizza

• He was perplexed

• You laughed and shook your head, grabbing his arm and dragging him to bed

• Needless to say, he had a hard time falling back asleep

• Every little sound your cat made woke him up, and with your cat as active as she is, she made a lot of noise

• He looked at you incredulously, wondering how the hell you were able to sleep through all the noise

• He eventually relented to the fact he wouldn’t go back to sleep, so he opted for sitting in the living room, trying to lure her towards him to calm her down

• Eventually she made her way to his lap where she finally curled up and fell asleep, he quietly breathed a sigh of relief

• You watched from the doorway as he eventually nodded off, you gently scooped up your cat and coaxed Aizawa to follow you back into bed

• You kissed his forehead and placed your cat in her bed on the floor by your nightstand

• The quiet won’t last long but you appreciate every second of it as you laid beside the man you love
