saddest fic i’ve ever read.

“I mean it,” Harry whispers. “This is goodbye. I love you, but you’re gone.” His throat feels scratchy and thick. He swallows past it. He needs to say this aloud. “I’ll see you again someday, I think. And when I do, that’s it. I’m never leaving you again.” His eyes are tearing up and this time he can’t stop it. He swipes across them with the back of his wrist. “So, I mean it. This really is the last time I’m leaving without you. Never again, okay? This is the last time.”

I’ve been reading fanfics from the Drarry ship since I was 14, and I’m turning 20 so I can pretty much guarantee that I’ve read. I’ve actually never even read the HP books because I fell in love with Drarry first, and I could never get into the books bc I knew Drarry wasn’t canon so everything I know about HP is from fanfics. 

Anyways, this fic basically broke my heart. I cried so hard while reading it and it pushed me into darkHarry for some reason. The way the author writes about Harry’s grief over losing Draco is so raw and painful, it makes you want to stop reading and cry with snot running down your nose but you’ll continue because it hurts so good. The memories don’t make it any better because you actually laugh at how funny, loving, and so IN LOVE they were. The memories made me laugh and then the next we’re back to reading about Harry’s grieving process, and you’re tearing up again. 

Almost all the fics I’ve read are enjoyable, fun, and I love them so much but this one made me think and moved me beyond tears. If you want to read this, I seriously caution you to read it at your own risk. This fic made me feel a painful twinge in my chest for DAYS.

this is how I feel about my brothers. I will nag to them, "Wash the dishes, it's your turn, dummy" but I would also say quietly, "Should u ever betray me in the most painful way possible, I will still find it in my broken heart, even if it’s in pieces, to forgive you because how much can you betray me if u are half of me?" the answer is “not much.” 

a sister’s love for her brothers is quite possibly one of the most intense things I’ve experienced. because I would never give up my two brothers in any kind of parallel universe, different space, time, or next life. I would rather keep my memories of them and wander around looking for them than exist in my next life not knowing them. 

but sometimes, they do drive me insane and that’s probably for the best

PSG has one of the most stupidest PR teams and marketing teams EVER. What the hell were they thinking making Kylian the center of a promotional vid and not even asking him if it was okay? They MUST know the kind of image and shit ppl/media say about him, and they just threw him to the fucking wolves. So, now people are dogpiling on him bc it’s Kylian Mbappe and he can’t fucking win. PSG set him up and dare I say on PURPOSE?? No club is stupid enough not to know the kind of reactions this would get. I feel bad for the other players who weren’t even include. Imagine how betrayed and how unappreciated they must feel? PSG proving again they are incompetent, stupid, and their players, especially KYLIAN, deserve better.

when kylian said today that he didn’t understand why people called him arrogant and self centered but he accepts it bc of his high-profile life, it made me sad. imgaine being kylian, and we don’t know him irl but from what his teammates say about him, we can say that he’s a geuine person who is sweet and loves life. but, everyone thinking he’s this other person who wants to sabotage his teammates, his team, and only think about himself. and he never really had the chance to change the narrative bc the media is always breathing down his neck, and depicting him as an arrogant son of a bitch. it’s sad bc haters and ppl who are only reading about him have a completely different view of him than the real him. ik he said he didn’t have a problem with this, but i can’t imagine it wouldn’t bother him just a little bit. anyways, i’m hoping that ppl will really see him for who he is.

gold digging is the natural result of a patriarchal society

it’s funny how in my country there’s no term to describe gold digging because it’s just the most rational and natural thing to be as a woman in a patriarchal society, 

women are raised to be gold diggers!

in a world  built by men for men, women in my country are taught to look out for themselves by choosing providers, and there’s nothing inherently malicious or bad about it, it’s sad that western society looks down on this and glorifies struggle love

gold digging is encouraged by the fathers too

it brings shame to the family to leave your daughter in the care of a broke man and even worse if that man leaves and your daughter has to return home with her kids

where i’m from, your husband should AT LEAST provide at the same level as your father or surpass him, meaning anything your father paid for: bills, food, rent, shopping money, grooming, ==>your husband now takes care of and it’s non negotiable, 

women in western society need to reframe their way of thinking about hypergamy and gold digging

it’s not some quirky greedy concept for the pretty and fortunate

it’s just about survival

we are the weaker sex, we are paid less, everything is made with men in mind not women

medical research has been built upon years of using male subjects and that’s why women get misdiagnosed

even seat belts are made with a man’s body in mind, that’s why statistically speaking women are more likely to die in car crashes

we have to look out for ourselves because the world was not made with us in mind

nothing is as natural to me as gold digging,

 in my world it’s just called self preservation 😘
