Clove Bennett

Even though Andre mentioned he wanted to talk in person, Clove didn't think he would stick to his word. Clove didn't believe that Andre would travel from San Myshuno to come and talk to her. So seeing him knocking on her door was a bit of a surprise.

"Maybe he's changed?"

The two past lovers chatted half the day away. Andre talked about his promotion at work and how he's looking at purchasing a house and wanting to settle down. Clove was happy for Andre, both of their wants in life were starting to align. Maybe her moving away and ending their relationship was the push that he so desperately needed?

One thing lead to another and the two of them found themselves entangled in bed together. Later that night, Clove went to sleep dreaming of what she always pictured their future to be.

Clove woke up in the early hours of the morning to the sound of Andre leaving.

"This was a mistake Clove. This was never meant to happen. I have a girlfriend now."

Andre's words pierced through Clove's heart. He had done what he's always done, break her heart into millions of shattered pieces. His last sentence replayed through her mind over and over as she laid in her bed crying over her mistake.
