The promised enemies to lovers Scarian Yuri

“Over my dead body,” Ariana scowls, her hand still clasped in Scarlets own. Her other hand, resting on Scarlets shoulder does little more than twitch, despite it not being contained like it’s counter part.

“Well that’s a shame,” Scarlet returns, her voice still a smooth purr, like Ariana had said she couldn’t make it to lunch, not an assassination offer. “I do rather like having you around birdie, but if that’s what it takes..”

Ariana goes still, her body no longer following the rhythm of the song as Scarlet tilts the hand holding her waist down, slipping out a sharp peice of metal from the cuff and presses it to Ariana’s back.

A kinfe.

The moment stretches on forever, Ariana knows she’s trapped in Scarlets grip, even with the knife not in a vulnerable position their in the middle of hundreds of people dancing, even more surrounding the sides with guards to watch every exit. All Ariana can do is stare at the face that very well might be the last one she sees.

She’s screwed.

“I’ll have to pass,” Ariana blinks in surprise, a rush of relieved air flowing from her lungs as Scarlet tucks the knife into her pocket and clasps Ariana’s waist once more, guiding her to rejoin the dance. Ariana’s feet move without her input.

“Why?” She asks moments later, her voice still shaky despite taking time to slow her racing thoughts.

“Oh darling,” Scarlet chuckles, her voice so warm Grian can imagine the ghost of tender fingers brushing hair behind her ear, or the soft embrace of another’s body after a long day. “I am far too fond of our meetings to through them away like that.”

Once again Ariana’s breath is stolen from her, like last time all she can do is stare. Scarlet chuckles and she becomes faintly aware of the heat of her cheeks that keeps growing with every moment Scarlet’s eyes linger on hers.

“Besides, you’ll agree with me eventually Birdie, you always do.”

Its just a snippet for now but I’ll write the full fic eventually

Just finished the episode

At 40:27 in Grian’s video (I don’t know how to do the link sorry) Ren and Tango’s (Mumbo) armour is moving at the same time and Grian says ‘I think you guys are.. soulbound or something’ it could be me hallucinating but the wording seems a bit too deliberate (Double life???)

Also at the end of the episode in the bottom left corner when the screen goes black, three white dimonds show up one by one then disappear

This could be a coincidence but I’m going crazy either way

We have boogeyman this session but by logic of the other series we should have had it the first session aswel.

Also I hope I’m not interpreting it wrong but all the malfunctions for null that were talked about awhile back were verry autism coded to me and it was kinda nice to see null have the same problems I have, even if it was malfunctions

He’d love those movies for sure

I’m glad you can see yourself in him and relate to him! I base a lot of his stuff on my own life (not just Null, but other characters in aus as well) and while I don’t have autism, I do have adhd and those two are like siblings. Some of those malfunctions were based on my own issues, some were just malfunctions a machine could realistically have

But I think I mentioned at one point that when he meets Cleo and the others, they assume he’s autistic, so it’s valid interpretation
