towwn: feelin’ a bit *nuts* lately? 🤪 there’s a recipe for that: homemade almond milk is a healthy, delicious drink and evening ritual that’s as easy as it is rewarding. better for your bod than the store-bought variety, this at-home, over-night soaking process lets you skip the preservatives ‘n additives — no gmos here, thank you very much! 😉plus, homemade nutmilks are richer and creamier, perfect for lattes, smoothies or for drinking on their own. here’s how to make this sweet treat in just a few steps:

ingredients: *approx. 1 cup raw almonds *approx. 3 cups fresh water ( *sweeteners - a handful pitted dates, 1 tsp honey, pinch cinnamon to taste

equipment: *blender or food processor (for the dates) *nut milk bag or cheesecloth *large bowl for soaking

recipe + instructions:

place 1 cup of almonds in a bowl, cover with water, and let soak overnight – about 8-12 hours – to soften the almonds. (3:1 ratio water / almonds)

drain + rinse the almonds, then add them to a blender with the water. toss in a few pitted dates, a teaspoon of honey, and a pinch of cinnamon for sweetness + flavor. 🍯

strain mixture through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth into a clean bowl, squeezing out all the creamy goodness. 🥛
