sylus has twin boys and one of them is shyer than the other :< baby one takes after his smug, charming bravado— speaks with a loud playful voice, emotes like a cute little cartoon and always ready for a spotlight. baby two is quieter, just wants to be held, hides behind papa's pant leg when he's introduced to new people and buries his face in mama's neck when he's asked for his name.
sylus is gone for forever (two days) before finally coming home. your voice is hoarse of repeating "papa's not home yet, angel," to little boys who want to play on their moving, talking, loving jungle gym of a father.
baby one runs headfirst towards him to play-fight— pulling at his hair and tugging on his ears— while sylus lifts him up, tickling him and blowing raspberries into his round cheeks.
baby two waits. he toddles after sylus only once he settles on the couch and sighs the stress of the day away. with great effort, he climbs up. sylus hears the squeaking stretch of leather, then feels the familiar weight on his side— a little ball of warmth nuzzling his cheek and shoulder to his papa's torso, squeezing himself under his arm to receive an embrace.
sylus responds quietly, bringing him closer and placing a tender kiss in his messy starlight hair. baby plays with the fabric of his expensive sweater, pulling and crumpling it in his little fists, just as mesmerized by the sensation as both are by the crackling fire.
baby one— a rocket— climbs on him too.
sylus has learned more sound effects since his sons were born, beyond your own favorite "bang!" when you poke his side. baby one's little fingers dig into his father's cheeks, as he goes, "pow!"
sylus lets out an indulgent play-dead 'eugh'— then a completely involuntary 'oof' as his son plops on his stomach before he slides to the other unoccupied arm. sylus's palm hovers over his head ever so slightly, making sure he lands safely. there, he also winds down and stares at the flames.
"pa?" baby two says, lifting his head. sylus turns to him— it still astonishes him how much of you he sees in his little angel's sleepy gaze. he carries your same wide, gentle look, now blinking slowly, dreamily.
"hm?"
"home?"
sylus hums. baby feels its steady rumble beneath his fingers. "mhm."
the baby nods slowly— only now understanding the word fully. connecting the dots between when mama says he's not and when he is. this is home. this feels like home. papa is home.
to that, he murmurs a soft m'kay and nestles his head back where it was before.
and you find them bathed in firelight, their white hair turned orange in its glow. his carbon copies, little lips parted, their chubby cheeks squished against their father's warm embrace. and your darling husband, head tilted back against the headrest, arms wound protectively around his sons.
you walk around, pressing a kiss to the crease between his brows before slipping a pillow underneath the base of his head. the photo you take of them stays as sylus's lock screen— until further notice.

caleb catch up series!
synopsis: a caleb version to every lads fic i've written prior to his release ^^ you can read the others' versions linked in the title!
warning/s: none! enjoy
note/s: wow i'm actually so glad i got to finish this because i've been wanting to do this since his release but i didn't get the time but i do hope you enjoy ^^ <3
she's with me
synopsis: his reaction when someone tries to flirt with you.
you have no idea why you agreed to this. you think to yourself as you lounge in the lobby of caleb’s dormitory, waiting for him to get changed so he can flaunt you to the DAA. there were insistent rumors about how caleb was being all chummy with a batchmate of his and to say that he was pissed would’ve been a massive understatement.
in his eyes, there was no one else but you and to hear his name be lumped around with a random girl that he probably glanced at for half a second, he knew he had to fix things. and what better way to do that than to have his “ms. apple” arrive and spend a day with him to show her the things he does in university?
but god was he taking so long.
you’ve already finished the drink he left you, you’ve already read through the magazines made for guests and made friendly talk with the lady at the front desk.
caleb truly had a knack of making you wait for him.
it was by the second re-read of the magazine when you heard a cough break your trance.
you look up from the couch you sat on, a startled expression passes your face for a split second before you give the stranger in front of you a polite smile.
in front of you stood a student that was probably the same age as you, donned in a DAA uniform and was looking at you with a friendly expression.
“i apologize for interrupting you but i couldn’t help but notice that i don’t recognize your face anywhere. are you new here?” he asks, you shook your head and pointed towards the general direction of the dorms.
“i’m waiting for someone.” you explained. “he said he’s gonna show me around but he’s taking so long.” you say. the stranger flinched at the information that you were accounted for, however, he believed that it was said with no malice and that you were waiting for a brother… or a gay best friend, or someone platonic.
“i could wait with you if you’d like.” the stranger says and you decline his offer politely. “no thank you, i think he’s on the way down.”
“i insist.” you blinked, not exactly knowing what to say but let out a hum in acknowledgement nonetheless.
“...alright then.”
it was awkward.
how couldn’t it be? the student was trying to converse with you and no matter how much you try to answer politely or cut the conversation short, it seemed like there was an endless list of questions that he was asking.
and the funny thing is you still didn’t know his name, not that you needed to. you didn’t really care.
god, what was taking caleb so long?
“would you mind leaving me alone? i’d like to wait for my boyfriend in peace.” you interrupted him before he could ask another question. the student’s eyes widened, mouth left hanging open. he looked like a fish out of water and if it were any other situation, you would’ve found it amusing.
“you have a boyfriend?!” you nod, “why didn’t you tell me?!”
your brows furrowed. “with the amount of questions you asked, that one never came up so how was i supposed to tell you?” the student looked very much different from the sweet one that asked you questions.
it was as if he flipped a switch knowing that you were taken. the student’s face turns a shade of red.
“you liked the attention, didn’t you?!” what is up with men and their egos?
huh? you were so confused. you didn’t even ask for him to stay, hell. you were even being so nice in entertaining his questions as dull and boring as they were.
“you had a boyfriend and you liked me chatting you up!”
“how is it my fault that i held no malice towards you?” “shut up! you’re such a sl–”
before the student could even finish his sentence, you hear a resounding voice from behind you, a heavy arm slumped around your shoulders.
“what seems to be the problem here.” caleb.
you both wanted to kiss his cheek for finally coming to your rescue or smack him upside the head because he took so long.
“c-cal— wha–? huh? caleb, what’re you doing here?” the student sputtered out. caleb raises his brow at the suddenly nervous student.
“i live here.”
“oh.” the student laughs awkwardly before he tried making small talk.
caleb huffs before the arms on your shoulders slide down to your waist. caleb’s demeanor shifts, his eyes squint into a glare, face devoid of any emotion and it almost sends a shiver down your spine.
“now why were you causing a scene with my girlfriend?” the student gulps before he tries to stammer out an excuse.
poor guy looked like he was about to piss himself from caleb’s stare alone. and truthfully? he was. not only did he try flirting with a stranger, he tried flirting with the campus superstar’s girlfriend. he’s unsure if he could ever show his face again if news got out.
“caleb.” you call his attention and suddenly the glare disappears from his eyes, a smile on his face as he lets out an affectionate hum.
“yes, pipsqueak?”
“we’re gonna be late for your training. he isn’t worth it.” you say, squeezing the fingers that were wrapped around your waist.
caleb’s head snaps back at the student, he gives him a once-over before he looks back at you and nods.
“scram.” the student all but bolts out the scene with his figurative tail tucked between his legs.
caleb turns to you with a smile but you didn’t return it as you hit his chest.
“i could’ve handled that, you know?”
“i know, buuut” caleb grins. “isn’t it cute to see your big strong boyfriend stand up for you?” you rolled your eyes.
“my big strong boyfriend takes longer than me to change clothes so he owes me food now.” you say, taking his hand off and walking away, leaving caleb to stare at your retreating figure, amused.
“yes ma’am.”
that boy is mine
synopsis: you see a girl getting a little too close to your boyfriend, he responds in kind.
caleb’s popularity was definitely a double edged sword. you loved that he gained the praise and recognition that he deserves, he was a role model… and the free stuff he gets is only a little bonus since if you liked it, it would immediately go to you, no questions asked.
however the downside to this was that everyone craves to take the shining star for themselves. it was human greed at its finest, they wanted to get even a little piece of caleb and to have a lowkey relationship with the man that everyone pined for was definitely not a good mix.
it was surprising that you and caleb managed to make it work through highschool with that type of dynamic. you swore that was one of the hardest things to do and that you’d never do it again.
so why did you and caleb talk about entering your high school reunion separately as opposed to entering together? you argued that it was because you’d rather not explain yourselves to irrelevant people that you used to go to highschool with.
caleb, although a bit bothered, let you do as you pleased as he entered the venue ten minutes later.
almost immediately, he was swarmed with his former teammates, the former cheerleaders and even his old history teacher— which was wholesome. however, caleb couldn’t help the feeling of emptiness beside him. he could easily leave the little huddle that his former acquaintances made and head over to you who was looking pretty and chatting with your friends, but he decided that it wasn’t the time as he smiles and converses with his former team.
“is that caleb?!” caleb puts on his usual boyish smirk as he turns towards the voice only for it to drop as he realizes that it was mandy. the former head cheerleader, also the leech that he could not get off.
mandy was your typical high school mean girl, the popular one who thinks that the world revolves around her and that she can have whatever and whoever she wants.
and it was no secret that she wanted caleb. still do. however, it was blatantly obvious that caleb wanted nothing to do with her back then, and definitely not now.
“mandy.” he acknowledged her with a nod, mandy grins, as she tries to pull him into a hug.
“caleb! it’s been so long–” caleb dodged the hug. “oh, you’ve always been so silly!” mandy giggles, trying to play it off while she stands beside caleb.
caleb could see her little posse of friends giggle amongst themselves. caleb sighs internally. they have definitely peaked in highschool.
“so, how have you been, caleb?” he mentally cringes at the way mandy tries to make his name sound sultry.
“fine.” he responds curtly, physically turning away from her to converse with his former teammate. but it seemed like mandy didn’t like that as she walked between caleb and his friend.
“what are you guys talking about?” she bats her eyelashes, placing a hand around caleb’s bicep but that only pisses caleb off as he jerks his arm away from her.
“would you mind not touching me?” caleb asked, no humor in his tone at all as he glared at the former cheerleader.
mandy smiled awkwardly, looking around as if she was asking if the people were seeing what she was seeing. as if she couldn’t believe that someone was rejecting her.
“i’m just interacting with you like old times, what’s wrong with that?” she intentionally makes her voice small. as if she were tiny and pitiful and that caleb was being mean to someone so fragile like her.
“i feel uncomfortable with you.” caleb says casually. no hidden motive behind his words but of course mandy had to twist it in her favor somehow.
“you’re uncomfortable with me?” she giggles. “why? is it because i’m out of your league? caleb you know that’s not true. you’re perfect for me. years passed but you still look good. we’d look good together and you know that.”
caleb wants to throw up.
he grimaces before he looks around, trying to spot you in the crowd and he meets your eyes staring back at him, an amused expression on your face as you watch him deal with the commotion that the cheerleader caused.
“you do know that i’m taken, right?” caleb asked, mandy’s jaw dropped, as if she couldn’t believe what she just heard.
“what?” her question was laced with bitterness. caleb only shrugs and nods towards your direction.
“and it’s the prettiest girl there ever was in highschool, even now.” he winks at your direction.
from where you stood, you couldn’t hear the conversation but with the teasing action he sent your way, you knew the charade was up. you sighed, shaking your head with a smile as he walks over to you, leaving mandy to seek comfort from her little group of friends who were glaring daggers at you.
“what’cha guys talking about?” caleb plops himself beside you, inserting himself in your conversation. your friend looks over at you then him with a confused expression.
“we were just asking (y/n) here if she has a boyfriend.” caleb gasped, teasingly looking over at you rolling your eyes. “do you?”
“hm… i don’t know, seemed like he was cozying up to mandy a little while ago.” you say, teasingly.
it was then you realized that the venue was quiet and that everyone heard you imply your relationship. caleb chuckles, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pulling you in for a swift kiss on your forehead.
“nah.” caleb reassures.
“was just making sure she knew i was taken.”
the two of you were only together for a few minutes before caleb was taken away by his teammates, demanding to know the details of when he finally confessed to his childhood crush. turns out caleb had a crush on you since freshman year of highschool and it took sophomore year of college for him to ask you out.
daddy i look like you
synopsis: he finds his child imitating him and his job, he gets cuteness aggression.
his children: flynn (10), soren (8), aurielle (1)
caleb flips through another page of his book about aviation. it was a new edition, regarding a new type of aircraft that the fleet might purchase. he knew that it was his job to figure out how to toggle the future aircraft just so the old geezers couldn’t say anything about him.
it’s been a few hours since his family left him alone in his study to focus on reading the book, he was already halfway through the first book before he was interrupted by a knock on the door.
“yes?” the door opens and entered you who had your youngest hiked up your hip. caleb smiles at the sight before he opens his arms, welcoming you into a hug. you carefully transferred your youngest daughter in his arms.
“hi bub.” caleb coos, wagging a finger at the easily entertained toddler. “how are you doing?” the toddler giggles, answering in babbles as she chases his finger, gnawing at it with her toothless gums.
caleb chuckles, placing a kiss on her forehead before he turns to you.
“to what do i owe the visit?”caleb asks. you smiled, gesturing towards the living room. “flynn and sore are playing outside, thought you might wanna check it out.” caleb cocks a brow at your ambiguous wording before he looks back at your daughter who was still gnawing at his finger.
“should i go and check it out, auri?” caleb asks, he smiles at the incoherent response that aurielle gave him. he hums in thought, as if he were holding an actual conversation with the one year old.
“alright, let’s see what mommy wants to show me.” he follows you out, immediately smiling at the sight before him.
the living room couches were pushed together, creating a solid space, the wooden coffee table was placed in the middle, his two sons were sitting side by side pressing on the imaginary buttons on the table.
but the reason for caleb’s smile was his sons wearing his uniform cap. flynn wore his colonel cap while soren wore his previous cap prior to the colonel cap.
he chuckles at the awkward fit on their heads as it kept falling off their smaller heads.
“prepare for takeoff, general soren.” flynn says as he makes sound effects from his mouth, his fingers tapping on the coffee table. “roger, colonel flynn.” soren responds.
“destination, cool town.”
their father leans on the doorframe, your sons still haven’t noticed him as they played pretend on the couch.
“mayday, mayday, mayday!” flynn suddenly yells, soren giggles before he yells into his imaginary mic “brace for impact!”
the two of them, as if in synch, jump off the couches, groaning and rolling playfully on the carpeted floor.
caleb chuckles. the two boys freeze as they hear the sound.
“dad!” “dad!” they grinned before running to their father, the caps falling off their heads. it was a miracle it didn’t fall off when they jumped off the couch.
“whoah there. auri might fall.” caleb gestures for you to take your youngest, and when you do, his two boys jump him. he effortlessly lifts them both and walks over to the couch, playfully tossing them on the cushions.
“that was quite a scenario, colonel flynn, general soren.” he says, flynn and soren salutes. “think you can land the plane safely next time?”
“dad you should’ve seen our landing yesterday! we nailed that!” caleb nods, “okay, okay. i believe you.”
flynn pouts. “dad, when are you taking us out on a flight.” soren nods, goading his older brother’s words. “yeah! we wanna go to cool town. you said that’s where the cool people live!”
caleb hums in thought. “maybe when you’re older.” his two sons groan at the answer.
“come on daaaad—” “yeah, come oooonn—” caleb huffs out a laugh as he stared at two pairs of eyes that reflect his and yours.
“dad, there’s a really cool lego set that’s out!” soren remembers with a gasp, running out and coming back in with a picture of the technic concorde. it was almost laughable how much his genes have spread because the model that soren showed him was already on the way to their house as a surprise.
“can we get it, please?” flynn asked, caleb hummed in thought. “have you boys been studying properly?”
the boys groaned. “yes. we have to! how else could we be pilots like you, dad?” caleb almost wants to say that elementary grades held no grounds for becoming a pilot but he could already imagine the look on your face if you heard that.
“i also finished the plane book you gave me!” flynn said proudly. caleb already knew that flynn probably skipped all the pages of information and focused on the cool fighter aircraft models but it still warmed his heart to see his boys so passionate over what he does.
“really?” caleb challenges. “why don’t you get your book and show me, if you answer my questions right, i’ll get you your toy.”
flynn and soren’s faces lit up before they ran to their room and took the book caleb gave. caleb smirked, knowing fully well he can just make up questions as he goes.
aurielle was placed back on his lap, grinning as she holds out a little plane plushie. caleb looks at you with a fond smile.
“we have a perfect family, don’t we?” caleb asks rhetorically, already knowing your answer.
you did. and caleb couldn’t wait to add more to it.
p-p-p-poker face, f-f-fuck her face
synopsis: determined to break your boyfriend’s facade. you suck him off while he’s doing something important <3
“wanna come for a fly?” famous last words spoken by caleb.
what was meant to be a little cute flying date turned out to be a series of him trying to regain control of his sanity before he crashes the plane with the both of you in it.
here he was listening to the VHF radio, hearing his colleague talk about the altitude and other airplane jargon that you honestly did not care about.
caleb looked fucking good in his colonel uniform and you were just about to show him how much you appreciated it. who could blame you as you pawed his trousers down and mouthed at his soft— turning hard cock.
god. you felt so good. caleb thinks to himself as he thrusts his hips towards your wide-opened mouth, letting him control the pace as his gaze focuses on the clouds before him.
the two of you were alone in his jet, thousands of feet in the air with no fixed destination.
gag. caleb was so close to landing the plane on some deserted island just to finish what you started.
“your colleague’s saying something.” you mumble against his cock, pressing kisses along the length of his girth. caleb hisses as your tongue traces his slit, spitting on it as you jerked his cock causing him to physically jump, the control wheel in his hand slipping slightly at the sudden feeling.
“pipsqueak– fuck. do you want me to ah—shit. crash this plane?“ he hisses out a question but makes no move to stop you.
you hummed, responding “i know you won’t.” before taking him as far as you could in your throat.
“oh. fuck.” caleb’s eyes fall into a close as his grip on the control wheel tightens.
your mouth felt like heaven, your hands pumped whatever couldn’t fit in his mouth and he could almost cum at the softness of your skin against his.
“you’re throbbing, hehe!” you giggled before watching his angry cock bob against his stomach as you removed your hold on him.
caleb almost growls at your teasing ways. you’re pushing him because you know that he can’t do anything at the moment. not when your lives are at his hands.
“ baby, i swear.” caleb hisses under his breath as you take a hold of him once more, tongue tracing protruding veins of his cock.
you moaned, closing your eyes as you gagged on his thickness, spit running down at the side of your lips as you couldn’t take any more of him, your eyes opened and you see him looking back down at you, biting his lip as your eyes watered.
that seemed to do it as caleb punches a button on the cockpit, both his hands on your head as he guides you on his length, hips stuttering against your throat.
“c-caleb…” you coughed as he gives you time to breathe, the tip of his cock only inches away from your mouth. “w-wha–”
“autopilot.” he answers the question forming in your head.
“don’t tell me you’re getting tired now, pipsqueak.” he teases, eyes darkening as he looks at your lewd face, his thumb tracing your lips. a smirk formed on his face as you sucked his thumb while looking straight at him.
“we have a long flight ahead.”

could I request lads men doing couples yoga with their wife please? :D
This is cute! I won't lie this took me a bit longer than I'd like. I wasn't sure where to go with it. Hopefully it's decent lol. Sorry for mistakes.
Zayne
"This is as far down as I go," Zayne states with a small exhale.
You eye the faint shaking of his thighs and stifle a laugh. "For someone always preaching to me about my body being a temple, you're not very flexible doctor."
"My profession doesn't require flexibility."
"I'm sure I read somewhere about flexibility helps prevent injuries and can even assist with posture. You're on your feet almost 12 hours a day, sometimes even more. This is good for you, now bend those knees!"
Zayne can only sigh as he does his best to widen his stance a bit further. He does not enjoy the burning sensation building in his hamstring.
"I'm going to pull something at this rate."
"It'll be fine, just don't drop me or I'll kill you."
Sylus
"Sylus, I've pulled something. I can't move, everything hurts, everything is going dark."
"You're being awfully dramatic Sweetie. It was your idea to do this in the first place. I told you we should've started with simple poses, you can't even do a full split."
"The real issue is you're too fucking tall! I can't even reach where I need to, to be stable. It just feels like you're throwing my body around. I should've asked the twins."
Sylus frowns at that, though playfully. He leans over your spent body, your legs split apart, aching from your attempted splits.
"Why do you need them when I'm right here. Just because we can't do all the poses doesn't mean I can't help you stretch another way." You feel the warm caress of his large hands on the underside of your thighs. "One leg at a time."
You slap his hands away.
"Not so fast demon! It's your turn, split 'em."
Xavier
"Holy shit Xavier, I think we're doing it." You've managed to secure yourself into position, a poor firmly planted on Xavier's thigh. His hands had you locked down, not even breaking a sweat.
"I told you we could do it, it just required patience. We both know that's something you lack," He turns to hide his smirk.
"I don't want to hear that from the man jealous of our neighbor telling me To have a nice day."
"Who is he to tell you what kind of day to have?" You only roll your eyes, stepping down from his thigh.
"Yeah yeah, now squat. We're gonna try this reverse superman shit."
Rafayel
"I think I'm stuck." You can only laugh at the current predicament. Your husband bent in an unfamiliar pose.
"You bragged about how flexible you were before we started," you chastise him.
With a scoff, Rafayel throws his head towards you as best he can. "Listen! I just didn't stretch enough is all, now help me. I think my leg is going numb."
Before immediately going to his rescue, you pull out your phone and take a picture of his predicament. "I'm sending this to Thomas for blackmail."
"You're MY wife, how could you betray me like this?! I didn't even want to do this," He exasperated.
"You should've thought about that before trying to show off."

more lads dad!au because dad!zayne and dad!caleb beef would be hilarious. spinoff from this drabble
The thing about heart surgeons was that they spent years in medical school, training relentlessly to save lives. But despite Zayne’s expertise, the one thing he couldn’t mend was his four-year-old daughter’s broken heart.
“Elsa, sweetheart, why are you crying?” he asked, crouching to her level as she hiccuped between sniffles.
“Because Archer doesn’t want to be married to me anymore,” Elsa sobbed, rubbing her fists against her red-rimmed eyes.
“He said he likes Cece.”
Oh. His heart.
His daughter was barely out of preschool, and she was already experiencing the crushing weight of betrayal. While he remained calm on the outside, Zayne was seething on the inside. How dare this boy break his daughter’s heart? Who did he think he was?
“Archer?”
“Caleb’s son,” you chimed in from the doorway, setting Elsa’s backpack down on its hook.
Oh. It all made sense now.
There were rumors that Caleb had been Mr. Popular back in high school, then again in college, and even at the academy. The kind of guy who could walk into a room and instantly become the center of attention, effortlessly drawing in mobs of adoring fangirls. His son, apparently, had inherited those same infuriatingly charming qualities.
Zayne clenched his jaw. No one, not even another four-year-old, was going to trample on his baby’s feelings and walk away unscathed. He turned back to Elsa, brushing a damp strand of hair from her cheek.
“Sweetheart, listen to me,” Zayne said gently, wiping away the last of Elsa’s tears with his thumb. “You don’t need to be married to Archer. You’re the most brilliant, kind, and incredible little girl in the whole world.”
Elsa sniffled. “Really?”
“Absolutely. Now, let me ask you something: does Archer know medical terminology?”
Elsa frowned, thinking hard. “No,” she admitted, shaking her head.
Zayne gasped dramatically. “See? That right there is a red flag, sweetheart. You’re already smarter than him! Do you know how many medical words you know?”
Elsa sniffled again, but a tiny smile started forming. “A lot.”
“That’s right! And what’s the big one you learned last week?”
“Myocardial infarction!”
Zayne’s eyes widened in exaggerated amazement. “That’s incredible! Now, tell me, does Archer know what a myocardial infarction is?”
Your daughter scrunched up her nose, thinking. Then she clapped her hands. “No!”
“Sweetheart, how could you possibly be married to someone who doesn’t even know what that is?”
Elsa giggled, wiping at her damp cheeks.
“What other big words do you know?” Zayne encouraged, leaning in.
She tapped a finger against her chin before her face lit up. “Hippocampus!”
“That’s my girl!” Zayne grinned, nodding approvingly. “Anything else?”
Elsa’s eyes gleamed with excitement. “Gluteus maximus!”
She giggled so hard at the meaning of gluteus maximus that she nearly toppled over, but Zayne caught her just in time, lifting her up and pressing a kiss to her forehead. Just minutes ago, she had been devastated over some preschool betrayal, and now she was giggling about medical jargon like the brilliant little girl she was.
It was far better than pining over a boy who didn’t even know what a myocardial infarction was.
☾⋆
“Hey, I saw Zayne today at drop-off, and he was squinting at me the whole time,” Caleb said, pulling Eden out of his high chair.
“Huh. Did he have his glasses on?” his wife asked, refilling Stella’s sippy cup.
Caleb furrowed his brow. “Now that I think about it…no, he didn’t. Oh! That makes so much sense! I waved at him, like, three times, but he just kept squinting. Poor guy was probably struggling to see without them.”

cw. breastfeeding + established relationship.
notes. please do excuse me for this bland of a drabble and requests are open now for lads men.
It's two in the morning.
The light from the bedside clock glares at him. Slowly, Caleb rouses in his sleep. Putting the blanket besides him and making sure his significant other is warm before getting up.
His footsteps light as he approaches the crib. The airplane mobile dangles and a small lullaby can be heard but aside from that is the movements from the crib. Soft wiggles and there's a coo turning into a whimper.
“Hup!” Caleb silently exclaims as he picks up his baby. “There we go, peanut.” The baby slowly opens it eyes and Caleb can see the tears beading from the corners of it. “There, there. You need your mama don't you.” Cradling the baby in his arms and he can hear a fit coming.
Caleb turns around to bring the baby to its mother which is now awake. Fluffing the pillows behind to be more comfortable while you feed your baby. “Here's your mama.” Caleb gently placed his child with you in your arms. The infant whimpers for a bit before latching to your nipple and silence engulfs the bedroom except for the infant suckling on your breast.
“I was about to wake you up, pipsqueak.” Caleb softly mutters to you. Settling besides you while he watch his wife and child. The nickname was still around even when you're both parents and you a mother to his child. You run your fingers through the thick hair of your child. Three months and it was thick as his father's.
“Hmm” You hummed. Your mind still hazy with sleep. By the way you hold and breastfeed your baby, it was now muscle memory and since Caleb assists you with the feeding.
The baby with Caleb's hair and eyes with a little resemblance to you, suckled softly. His little fists, clenching and unclenching on your chest. A soft sigh escaped your lips. The warmth of your baby on your chest and Caleb's behind you gave you the comfort despite the sleepless nights.
“Go back to sleep now, pipsqueak.” Caleb takes your baby after it unlatches to you. Full of his mother's love and milk. You didn't protest and went back to rest your head on the pillows.
Caleb stayed for a few minutes. Making sure his baby is burped and comfortable on its crib before rejoining you. His arms wrapping around your body. Creeping under your shirt and rubbing soft circles on your round belly. His fingers grazing over the stretch marks. You turned around to meet his gaze.
“Thank you, Caleb.” You sleepily mutter. “Ssh, it's my responsibility. You don't have to thank me. Carrying my baby and being my wife is already enough, pipsqueak.”
At the start of your pregnancy, Caleb made sure to never let you lift a finger. Mandatory exercises good for you and the baby is all the activities you did the whole duration of your pregnancy. He even took a leave as your due date looms and now, when you're tired and still recovering from the birth.
“Rest now, okay? Our baby's going to wake up soon.” Pressing a chaste kiss to your forehead and with a nod, you returned to slumber with Caleb.

not me spreading more dad!caleb propaganda because of my major daddy issues
“Daddy, I have to tell you something.”
Caleb glanced over from where he was stirring a pot on the stove, arching a brow at the serious tone in his four-year-old son’s voice.
He was no stranger to his kids’ antics, especially when it came to his wild, rambunctious four-year-old, who usually threw himself into things headfirst with zero hesitation. But right now? Archer looked almost…shy. And that was enough to put Caleb on high alert. He wiped his hands on a dish towel and crouched down to meet his son's gaze.
“W-What is it, buddy?”
Archer took a deep breath like he was about to drop the biggest bombshell of his premature life.
“I'm married."
Caleb froze. Alright. Play it cool. He was a cool dad, he’s not like the other dads.... But his baby! His four-year-old was married?! This was too soon. He wasn’t ready for this. He thought he had at least two decades before dealing with future partners.
"Y-You're married?"
Archer nodded, completely serious as he crossed his arms cooly. “Mhm. I married Elsa, she's in my class."
“So…how did you decide to get married?”
“We had to hold hands on our nature walk and Ariel said that means we’re married now.”
Caleb blinked. Well…that was actually kind of adorable. But! nonetheless, he had to force himself to remain calm. This was fine. This was just kids being kids, right? Surely this was all pretend. A tiny, harmless ceremony with absolutely no long-term consequences.
Except for the fact that his son was taking relationship advice from a four-year-old named Ariel, which felt vaguely alarming for reasons he couldn’t quite articulate.
And! The small but critical detail that Archer was apparently “married” to Zayne’s daughter.
“OK well, I need to ask Mommy to help me wear something nice tomorrow because if I don't, Orion might marry Elsa instead. Bye daddy.”
for some reason I envision caleb and zayne having a rivalry like timmy's dad and dinkleberg
ariel - raf's daughter elsa - zayne's daughter orion - xavier's son

Be My Valentines [Sylus + Daughter ★ 926 words ★ Masterlist ★ Series Index ★ AO3] Sylus and his daughter get ready for a special Valentine’s Day dinner with you. A/N: This was a very impromptu writing piece so pardon the shortness and rushed editing. An anon sent in a very cute ask and I couldn’t resist. (I will try to resume this series in the coming weeks, along with the other toddler series. Forgive my easily distracted brain lol) I also don’t care that technically the game doesn’t really have Valentine’s Day and they have their own equivalent holiday, Azure’s Echo Day, but I want to use Valentine’s Day instead. :P Tag list: @lavlynyan @miudle @alfredosaws @solifloris @nezuswritingdesk @valkyyriia @yes-no-maybe-soo @natimiles @yourlocalcatscammer @callilypso @likewhyareyousoobsessedwithme @qyuin 【 request to be added 】
“Almost done, baby,” Sylus said to the little toddler girl sitting on the bathroom counter in a bright red dress as she clutched her Smiley Dino plushie while he fixed her hair. The girl sulked and her eyes darted up to meet her father’s reflection in the mirror, watching as he finished braiding her hair, tying it off with a bright red hair tie that had a heart-shaped decoration.
“Daddy, why do I have to wear this dress today?”
Sylus smirked at his daughter’s pout.
“Daddy’s taking you and Mommy out for a special dinner for Valentine’s Day,” he answered. He helped her stand up on the counter and gestured to the mirror. “Now don’t you look pretty, my little birdie?”
The girl smiled and turned her head to the side to admire the two little twin braids her father did for her. She turned around, her plushie clutched tighter to her body. “Are you going to do the same for Mommy’s hair?”
Sylus chuckled and shook his head. “Mommy will do her own hair and makeup, but Daddy did send a dress down to her workplace for her to change into before we pick her up for dinner.”
His daughter tilted her head to the side curiously. “Is she wearing a red dress like me?”
Sylus shook his head again as he leaned down to kiss his daughter’s cheek. “No, baby, she’s going to be wearing a black dress to match with Daddy’s suit.”
The girl looked at her father’s black suit he wore and her pout deepened.
Immediately, Sylus noticed his daughter’s disposition changing. He playfully pinched her cheek gently, making her giggled. “Now why are you pouting, baby?”
She looked at her father sadly. “I want to match with Mommy and Daddy…”
“You are matching with Daddy,” Sylus responded patiently, gesturing to the bright red tie he had on. “See? Daddy’s tie is the same shade of red as your pretty dress.”
This seemed to appease his daughter, her smile returning.
“Okay, just give Daddy a moment to put on some cologne and then we will head to Linkon to pick up Mommy for our dinner reservation.”
“Can I help, Daddy?” The little girl gave him her best puppy dog eyes complete with a full pout.
Sylus laughed and tapped her lips lightly with his finger. “Alright, enough of those lips tonight, Little Miss,” he said teasingly, nodding once. “Hold out your hands, baby.”
The girl carefully sent her dino plushie down before holding out two small hands with her palms up for her father to lightly spritz some cologne on. She wrinkled her nose a little, unused to the musky men’s fragrance. When Sylus leaned down closer to his daughter, she lightly patted his neck with the cologne, smiling brighter. “All done, Daddy!”
He kissed her cheek again, thanking her before one of his arms swooped around to gather her into his embrace.
“Daddy! Smiley Dino!”
“Oops,” he said playfully and leaned down so his daughter could grab her plushie again. His eyes twinkled in amusement when his daughter hugged her plushie tightly. “Is he coming to dinner with us?”
The girl nodded enthusiastically.
“Hm, I don’t know if the restaurant will allow little dinos into their establishment…”
His daughter immediately looked worried. Her lips quivered and she asked hesitantly, “They won’t?”
Sylus nuzzled his cheek against his daughter’s. “Don’t worry, Daddy will just pull some strings if they don’t,” he responded, adding cordially, “Smiley Dino can come to dinner with us tonight.”
“Yay!”
The father-daughter duo made their way down to the garage where a sleek luxury black car awaited them. Sylus carefully placed his daughter in her car seat in the back, and as he buckled her seatbelt, the little girl piped up, her face furrowed in confusion again. “Daddy, what is that?”
Sylus looked down at the item set next to car seat. He picked up a small crow plushie holding a plush envelope with a pink heart on it. “For my little Valentine here,” he said, handing his daughter her gift, smiling when she gasped excitedly, her eyes darting back and forth between the two plushies she was holding before squeezing them both tightly in a hug.
“Do you like your present, my little birdie?”
The girl nodded happily before her smile dropped suddenly. Sylus looked concerned. “What’s wrong?”
“I don’t have a present for Daddy…”
“Is that all?” Sylus questioned in amusement. He stroked her cheek gently and kissed the top of her head. “My present is my little girl here. There is no greater gift than you, my sweet little birdie.”
He kissed her again before he closed the door and made his way to the driver’s seat. He glanced up at the rearview mirror seeing his daughter was already happily playing with her two plushies. He turned the engine on and then pulled out into the eternally dark streets of the N109 Zone.
The car drove under streetlights and neon signs, heading in the direction of Linkon City. With his daughter in the backseat, Sylus drove slower than normal, the gentle smooth drive eventually lulling the little girl to sleep.
Sylus snuck a peek at his sleeping daughter in the rearview mirror and smiled again to himself, knowing the bouquet of red roses next to him in the passenger’s seat would never match his wife’s gift of giving him their precious daughter, but he was eternally grateful that both she and his daughter would always be his Valentines every year, just like he was theirs.

Doomsday has finally dawned upon Linkon City, though Caleb seems to be the only person truly affected by this catastrophe.
It was all his fault in the grand scheme of things. He hadn’t been clear enough, hadn’t shown the full extent of his feelings for you. But above all, he should have never offered Zayne those measly words of advice.
He should have known that the doctor had ulterior motives. Why else would he have called Caleb up one week ago to ask about you of all people?
It was a mean ploy, truly. Anyone and everyone knows about Caleb’s inability to shut up about you, his sole weakness was being exploited right in front of his eyes and he was none the wiser. The questions seemed harmless then. Posed as genuine curiosity, Caleb would have never been able to decipher the hidden intent behind each word that Zayne spoke into the receiver.
What are her days off? What does she do in her free time? You said that the restaurant around the corner from Akso Hospital was her favorite, yes?
In retrospect, he should have absolutely seen this coming. But then again, nothing could have ever prepared Caleb to hear those four life-altering words slipping from your lips.
“I have a date.”
A record scratches in his brain, forcing him to halt his steps for an abnormally long time before he slowly turns to face you. “You… what?”
Hearing the words repeated in that saccharine tone of yours only added salt to the wound, oddly enough. It physically pained him to ask for more information about your date, though he managed to hide his disdain with that boyish grin of his and a bit of lighthearted teasing.
But inside? That little green monster was stirring, and there was very little he could do to quell it.
Begrudgingly, he managed to get the key details before forcing himself to stow away in his bedroom and… think. Next Thursday. 6 PM. Maltosio Restaurant. With Zayne.
The next week passed by in an agonizingly slow fashion. It was as though each X that marked a passing day was a physical blow to his already aching heart, and those adorable images of the kittens on his calendar (the calendar that you picked out) did very little to help him.
Subtlety was never his strong suit, but then again, desperate times call for desperate measures. And believe Caleb when he says that he is very much desperate.
“Soo…” he’d drawl, leaning over the back of the couch to peer down at you. “I heard there’s a screening of that movie you’ve been wanting to see at the drive-in next Thursday. Wanna come with?”
You perked up like a ball of excitement, and for a moment, Caleb allowed himself to get his hopes up, but your frown quickly dissipated them. “Next Thursday? Oh, no, I can’t make it! I’m going out with Zayne, remember?”
Of course he remembered. That was exactly why he hadn’t let up—not even once—in his attempts to distract you just enough to make you forget all about your dinner plans. He could take you out for a nice dinner too. Say, that’s actually a good idea…
The next day, Caleb tried that one.
“Oh, pip-squeak,” he sang, his airy voice ringing through your apartment as he walked down the hallway. “I got us reservations at the restaurant in Skyhaven that you’ve been itchin’ to check out.”
You perked up, just like you did before. “Really?”
He nodded with a triumphant grin, internally patting himself on the back for his own good idea. “Mm-hmm. Next Thursday. Got us those window seats you wanted too—the ones that overlook the city.”
And once again, your gaze softened, and an all-too-adorable pout tugged at the corners of your mouth. “Oh, Caleb, I’m sorry. I’m busy that day.”
You really are too sweet for your own good. He can’t even blame Zayne for taking an interest in you, he’d be downright shocked if any man with two seeing eyes had the audacity to not think that you were the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen.
Caleb sure does. He always has. He always will.
It wasn’t long before the day of reckoning was upon him. Thursday evening. Sunlight cut through the blinds in the living room, casting golden hues across the vast space. Much to his dismay, the trashy reality television you’d left on the screen did very little to soothe his worries.
He fidgeted with the dog chains you’d gifted him, his thumb brushing along the gift that you had so kindly given him. It was a testament to your bond. A bond that something as trivial as a single evening apart couldn’t tamper with… right?
“Caleb!” Your antsy voice cut through the air, forcing his wandering mind to snap back to reality.
He was up and down the hallway before you could even say another word, pressing a flat hand to your door to nudge it open. It was then that he saw you, all dolled up in your robe with your favorite dresses laid out on your bed.
Your hands grasp onto two of the hangers, holding them up side-by-side to help him get a better look at them. Though, his eyes were noticeably distracted, contorted in an unfamiliar lovesick expression as they pierced into yours. “Quick! Which do you think is cuter?”
Caleb blinks—once, twice, three times—until he forces himself to finally look down at the dress options in your grasp. He’d seen you wear them plenty of times before, and the thought of someone else seeing you in such beautiful fabric nearly made his stomach lurch.
He raises his forearm, leaning against the doorframe as he rubs the back of his neck. “Oh, c’mon, that’s an impossible choice. You’ll look beautiful no matter what you wear.”
It was a typical response, one that you were expecting, though his lack of advice made you hmph as you lost yourself in your thoughts. “Well… I hear polka dots symbolize happiness and stripes symbolize slipping between realms. Pretty interesting stuff, huh?”
“Very interesting,” he says, the corner of his mouth tugging up at the mere sound of your voice. “Is that why you buy so many things in those patterns?”
You quirk an eyebrow, confusion etching into your expression. “Huh? What else do I buy that’s…” It quickly dawns on you, and you can feel heat creep up your neck and reach your face. “You’re a jerk.”
Caleb can’t help but laugh, taking a few steps into the room so that he can properly look at each and every one of the dress options laid out on your bed. “What’s the matter? If I remember correctly, someone was beggin’ me to do her laundry. Somethin’ about the laundry machine being sooo far and your feet hurting sooo bad.”
Huffing and far too flustered for your own good, you shake your head. “Well… well I didn’t realize you were so observant.”
He clicks his tongue, absentmindedly pinching your side as he leans down to rest his chin in the dip of your shoulder. “Tsk. You know I’m always observant when it comes to you. Even if it’s remembering something as trivial as the patterns of your cute little undies.”
You swat him away. “You’re so annoying!”
To that, he can only chuckle, giving your sides a brief squeeze before taking a few steps back. “Alriiight, alright, I’ll leave you alone.” Before exiting the room entirely, he hangs onto the doorframe, giving you a soft smile. “I’m serious though. You’ll look beautiful no matter what you wear.” His lips curve into a smirk. “But if you want my input—you know I’ve always been a sucker for seeing you in florals.”
And with that, he whisks away, silently hoping and praying that this date will fall through on its own. Plopping back down on the couch, his eyes are practically glued to his watch. 5:48 PM. It wouldn’t be long before Zayne would be knocking at the front door—punctual as ever. Oh, it made him sick.
How could he have done this? To you, to himself? Caleb should be ashamed. He should be the one sitting across from you later tonight, holding your hand and listening to you ramble about whatever your heart desires. It should be him. It would have been him if he wasn’t so damn afraid.
But the sound of approaching heels clicking along the hardwood floor quickly snapped him out of his pity party, prompting him to look over his shoulder. And there you were once again, now adorned in a floral sundress that had made him lose his mind more times than he’d like to admit.
Under his breath, he can’t help but mutter, “Yeah, you’re gonna kill me…”
It was his favorite dress of yours, too. You really were trying to kill him. A white dress that was littered with blue flowers, the fabric fit you perfectly, loose and fitted in all of the right places.
Zayne didn’t deserve to see you like this. Plain and simple.
Standing from the couch, he lets out a low, appreciative whistle. “There she is,” he says, taking your hand to spin you around a single time. His smile only widens as he sees yours. “You look gorgeous, just like I knew you would.”
You roll your eyes with a bashful smile, one that he has to physically fight the urge to kiss away. “Oh, you flatter me,” you say through a laugh.
He shakes his head, bringing a hand up to gently smooth down a pesky hair on the top of your head. “Can’t be flattery if I mean every word of it.”
A breeze wafted through the open window, blowing the fabric of your dress ever so slightly. The scent of freshly cut grass and blooming flowers infiltrates the living room, though the scent of your perfume and something that was uniquely you had his full attention.
“Y’know, you can be pretty nice when you want to be,” you say, raising an eyebrow.
Chuckling, he simply nods, his large hands settling on your middle. “Yeah. When I want to be.”
You brush past him, padding over to the back door. Pushing it open, you step out onto the warm concrete patio, breathing in the fresh air that the backyard had to offer you. Spring in Linkon was always a delight, though the warmth that Caleb radiates behind you serves to be the most comforting thing about the entire scene.
His hand comes to rest on the curve of your shoulder, his fingers nimbly pulling at one of the straps of your dress. With his heart rate shooting through the roof, he forces himself to take a moment. He needs to get this right. This may be the last chance he’ll be able to do this.
“I… look, there’s something that I—”
But suddenly, the sound of rapping knuckles at the front door cuts through the tense silence. Both of your attention is drawn to the closed door, and having left the back door open, you both have a clear view of it.
You turn around to face Caleb, offering him a sheepish smile. “That’s probably Zayne.”
He only nods, forcing his hand to fall back to his side. “Yeah, probably.”
This was it. He was losing you. It stung to know that this was no one’s fault apart from his own. His inability to be honest about his feelings, his lack of forwardness with you… what was he expecting? That you’d never date? That he could keep you happy forever without offering you anything more?
It was a stupid fantasy, one that had earned him this spot. But when he saw you turn to leave, your eyes still locked on his, a surge of panic shot up his spine. His eyes flit around—the grass, the flowerbeds, the hose… that was currently filling up the pool…
“Be mad at me later,” he suddenly says.
Your eyebrows shoot up. “Wha— ah!”
Before you could even begin to process what was happening, you were suddenly pushed back into the chamber full of chlorine infested water. Caleb watches with a wry expression as you shoot up from beneath the water, splashing aimlessly as you swim towards the edge.
“What the fuck was that?” you bark, perching one elbow up onto the concrete as you reach the other one out to him. “What the hell are you looking at? Help me out!”
Caleb can’t even protest, not with the incredibly irrational stunt he’d just pulled. “I’m sorry, pip-squeak, I just…” And so, he reaches down, his hand clasping around yours… until you pull him forward with all of your strength and send him tumbling into the pool too.
And when he comes up for air, you splash him the moment he opens his eyes. Serves him right. The chlorine will sting his eyes almost as much as your mascara is stinging yours right now.
With that, you pull yourself out of the pool, a trail of water marking your path as you wring out the fabric of your dress. After that, you disappear inside of the house, leaving Caleb to rub his eyes in utter defeat.
He gives you both a long stretch of alone time before he retreats back into the house like a kicked puppy, his head hanging low as he runs a hand through his wet strands of hair. You’ve evidently told Zayne that today wasn’t going to work anymore, judging by his lack of presence, and that thought alone makes Caleb more happy than he should be.
Sucking in a short breath, he knocks twice at your shut bedroom door. “Honey? It… it’s me.”
“Go away,” you retort without missing a single beat.
Caleb pokes his tongue into his cheek as he leans forward, resting his forehead on the cool surface of your bedroom door. “C’mon. Just… talk to me.”
It doesn’t take long before the door is swung open, revealing an incredibly angry version of you with a freshly cleaned face. He opens his mouth to speak, to apologize, to try and rectify the situation in any way he can, but you beat him to it. Quickly.
“How dare you?” you spit, jabbing your index finger into his chest. “What was that, Caleb? Are we ten years old again? Your method of communication is… is pushing me into the damn pool?”
He sighs, catching your hand to unfold your closed fingers. “You’re right. I’m sorry, I—”
“No!” you cut him off, sticking your other index finger into his chest. “It’s your turn to listen. You’ve been my best friend for as long as I can remember, you’re all I’ve ever known, all I’ve ever wanted. Do you know how it feels to have everything you want dangled in front of you for so many years, and… and just torn away? Time and time again?”
Caleb is rendered speechless, his brows furrowed in both confusion and a sense of odd relief as you unleash all of the thoughts that you’ve kept hidden for so long. He doesn’t bother catching your other hand, instead, he allows you to repeatedly jab at his chest. It hurts, but he can handle it. Just like he can handle the words you’re saying.
“So, you know what? I decided that enough was enough!” you continue, your index finger pressing wildly into the hard planes of his chest. “I wasn’t going to wait around, I wasn’t going to pretend, I was going to move on! And… and I was going to!”
He tilts his head, his amethyst eyes growing fuzzy as he looks down at you. “Was going to?”
You huff, eyes narrowing as you jab your finger into his chest for a final time before turning away from him. “Well, I’m not exactly going on a date anymore, am I?”
Caleb nods, though you can’t see it. He leans against the doorframe, his gaze tracing your silhouette through the soaked fabric of your dress. Sighing, he straightens off the wall, but before he can turn away, you spin around to face him.
“And you know what else?” you huff. “You know the solution to this problem just as well as I do.”
He nods his head with a single jerk of his chin, beckoning you to continue. “Yeah? What’s that?”
You step closer, and for the final time, you stab your finger into his pec. “You need to grow a pair.”
Inhaling deeply, all he can do is smile. It infuriates you and he knows it, but he just can’t help himself. He takes both of your wrists and tugs you forward until your chest presses against his own, one of his hands coming up to cup your cheek.
You’re slowly simmering down, the heat of your outburst dissipating as your skin cooled. With your eyebrows still furrowed, all you can do is look up at him, daring him to speak. To do anything.
“Are you still mad at me?” he asks, brushing a thumb over your bottom lip.
Swallowing thickly, you nod. “A little.”
He slowly nods his head, his fingers curving along your jaw before he cups your chin in between his thumb and forefinger. “Is there anything I can do to help with that?”
You can feel his breath fan along your lips, cool and minty and just about everything you could have ever fantasized about on your own. You part your lips to reply, but this time, Caleb is the one who beats you to it.
“We’re making puddles all over the floor, you know.”
Glancing down, you see the truth in his words. The pool water dripped from your respective clothing and gathered around the two of you, making a wry smile find your lips.
“Oh,” you breathe, “I didn’t even notice.”
“I like to think I’m pretty observant when it comes to you,” he murmurs, smoothing his free hand along your side until it grasps onto the fabric of your dress. “Need some help with this?”
You look up, meeting his gaze once more. “With… with what?”
“Well,” he drawls, his fingertips brushing along your outer thigh as he slowly drags the fabric upward. His movements are hesitant and cautious, his eyes flickering between each of yours. “You’re wet. I’m wet. Maybe we can… help each other dry off.”
Your eyelids falter as they flit between his, your gaze instinctively falling to the plush curve of his bottom lip. “Okay,” you murmur.
A smile tugs at his mouth. “Okay. Arms up.”
Slowly, you lift your arms above your head. His hands work together to slowly push the fabric of your dress up and over your head, letting it slip onto the floor with a wet plop.
His breath is nearly torn from his lungs the moment he sees your bare skin, so beautiful and soft and made to be his. Hesitantly, his fingertips trace the curve of your hips with a sense of reverence.
“Do you need help too?” you ask, your voice breathy from the restrained sense of need that has come over you.
Pausing his exploration of your bare skin, Caleb finds himself nodding, almost immediately lifting his arms over his head. “Please.”
And now, you take the opportunity to do the same. Slowly, you peel his shirt up and over his head, tossing it aimlessly into the laundry hamper near the door. Your gaze traces over the defining lines of his abdomen, your touch doing the same as it trails southward.
His lower stomach tenses up as your fingers brush against the hem of his jeans. He can’t help the way his eyes flutter shut, the way a touch so simple can nearly bring him to his knees. Breathing shakily, he leans down to rest his forehead on yours.
“Careful,” he breathes in warning, his voice taking on a raspy tone.
You almost startle at the unfamiliarity of his voice, though you push your hesitation aside as your thumb brushes over the button of his pants. “But… these are wet too.”
A huff of air leaves his mouth, the sound something between a low laugh and a groan. He forces his eyes open, his stare meeting your own. “Trying to get me naked before our first kiss? I have to say, you’re full of surprises.”
Faltering, your hands fall away from his pants. “You’re right, I… I’m—”
Caleb can’t help but chuckle, taking a hold of your hands to bring them right back to where they were before. This time, he guides your fingers through the motion of unbuttoning his pants. “Kidding,” he whispers against your lips. “Besides… we’re good at multitasking, yeah?”
You’re nodding before you can truly process his words. “Yeah.”
His lips crash onto yours with a groan that omits from deep within, the button of his jeans finally popping open from your ministry. The zipper went next, tugged down along with the fabric entirety until he was left in only his boxers.
His hands roam your curves greedily, eating up every inch of skin that he has deprived himself of for far too long. Your waist, your hips, your thighs—he needs to feel you in any way possible.
And you return his eagerness so well, wrapping your arms around his neck as you draw him in even closer. His hands worked quickly, hoisting you up until your legs wrapped around his waist as he walked the both of you over to your bed.
Laying you down on the mattress, he takes the initiative to deepen the kiss, his tongue swiping along your bottom lip to gain access that you readily give him. He can’t help but moan into your mouth, the sweet taste of your tongue tangling with his own forcing his brain to short circuit in a way he’s never experienced before.
You kissed him like there was no tomorrow, and he was loving every second of it. Your hands fisted into his hair while your lips moved in tandem with his, a soft whimper leaving your mouth as his hands gave your hips a firm squeeze.
His lips trail down your jaw, leaving open-mouthed kisses along your neck and the curve of your shoulder as he uses his grip on your hips to pull you flush against him. A gasp leaves you at the feeling of his erection pressing against your clothes sex, the friction so delicious that it makes butterflies erupt in your stomach.
Caleb is so far gone, kissing his way along your arms, your neck, your sternum, all up until he reaches the valley of your breasts. He wastes very little time there, licking a trail to your nipple before sucking the peak into his mouth. His other hand palms at your other breast, kneading the soft flesh in his palm.
“You’re so beautiful,” he breathes against your skin, his hips rocking forward as he switches sides, latching onto your neglected breast and giving it a hard suck. “So beautiful.”
His descent continues as he mouths at the soft skin of your belly, your hips, your inner thighs. His eyes depart from yours as they settle onto the fabric covering your cunt, and a grin stretches across his face. Polka dots.
You scoff, softly shoving his shoulder. “Don’t even say it.”
Chuckling, he leans in to press a kiss on the damp patch of fabric. “Wasn’t gonna say anything, baby.”
His fingers hook beneath the waistband of your panties, tugging them down your legs and tossing them aimlessly. His lips press feverish kisses to your ankles, your calves, your inner thighs, and eventually, the mound of your pussy.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted this,” he whispers into your heat, hiking your legs up and over his shoulders and he pulls your sex closer to his mouth. “So damn worth it.”
A cry leaves you as his tongue delves in deep between your legs, his eyes slipping shut as he lets out an unabashed whimper into your sex. His grip on your thighs only tightens, keeping your legs spread apart as they threaten to press in on his head.
He wouldn’t have that. He couldn’t. He needed to have you in the way that he’s dreamt of for so long, in the way that he’s thought of time and time again as he fucked his own fist to the thought of you. It was filthy, it was lewd, but it was honest.
You tasted better than he could have ever imagined, his tongue eagerly lapping at your inner walls before his lips sealed around your puffy clit, sucking hard enough to make your back bow off the plush mattress.
The stimulation is leaving you feeling overwhelmed, your hands pushing into his hair as your trembling thighs test the strength of his grip. You whine, eyes slipping shut as your head tilts back against the pillows.
“It— it’s too much—”
“Be good,” he finds himself saying, pulling you right back to his mouth as he continues to feast on your pussy like a man starved. “You can take it, baby.” Caleb cracks open his eyes, sucking harshly onto your clit before releasing it with a wet pop. “Go on, pretty girl. Say it.”
You whine, though you hardly have the brain power to say anything else apart from what he’s asked of you. “I… I can take it,” you breathe.
He smiles, pressing a soft kiss to your sensitive pearl before nipping at it. “There you go.”
It doesn’t take much longer for your legs to begin to tremble once more, your body writhing in his grasp as he sets you any way but loose. Your hips buck up, a final resort for reprieve as he works you over the edge.
Caleb redoubled his efforts, spreading your thighs even wider. Soon, the warmth pooling in your lower stomach was far too much to bear, far more intense than anything you had ever experienced before.
“I’m… I’m coming,” you gasp out, hands gripping tightly onto his dark locks of hair.
And when you do, his flattened tongue laps at your honeyed release. He works you through your high, his movements eventually slowing down as the twitching of your hips gradually calms.
He pulls off of you with a wet pop, pressing soft kisses to your swollen clit. “You’re perfect,” he whispers, pressing another peck on your mound before he moves back up your body once more to slot his lips against yours.
You can taste yourself on his tongue, and it only spurs you on further. Your hands grasp onto his shoulders, and in one swift motion, you flip him onto his back. Caleb looks up at you with a starry-eyed expression, but when you straddle his hips and sit in his lap, he has no words of protest. None at all.
“You really are full of surprises,” he says, running his hands along the warm skin of your thighs.
Tugging him free from his boxers, he helps you remove them from his body, leaving you both entirely bare together. He sits up, his back pressing against the headboard as he tugs you closer to him.
“I need you,” he whispers, pressing a longing kiss on your stomach as you shift to straddle him once more. “Please, baby.”
You gaze down at him, your fingers brushing through his hair. “Please what?”
He leans into your touch, his hands settling onto your waist as he pulls you lower, the head of his cock pressing against your pussy. “Make yourself feel good. Please.”
Caleb’s own cheeks were flushed with a rosy hue, both from the embarrassment that his own lack of experience brought upon him and the reality of finally having the love of his life in such an intimate way. His amethyst eyes search your face, as if searching for a permission that he didn’t know how to ask for.
Dipping your head, you press a soft kiss on his lips. Simultaneously, you swivel your hips until the tip of his length catches your entrance. You slowly lower yourself, feeling the way his cock stretches you out, filling you up in a way that only he can.
He smiles at you, cupping your cheek with his hand. Brushing a thumb over your bottom lip, he kisses you gently. “You feel so good,” he whimpers into your mouth, his other hand resting on your hip as you roll your hips in a way that has his breath hitching in his throat. “So fucking perfect.”
Your movements are timid at first, consisting of a slow and meticulous rocking of your hips. His cock stuffed you full, his tip kissing the deepest points of your inner walls with ease, earning a muffled whimper from your mouth that his lips swallowed up eagerly.
Caleb’s hands grasped tightly onto your hips, helping you set a pace that had the both of you losing your mind. He leans backward, his head tilting against the headboard as it slams against the wall with each intense grind of your hips.
“Good girl, give it to me how you like it,” he breathes, eyes cracking open to watch the way you look down at him as you work yourself on his length. “Use me however you need me, baby, there you go.”
Your fingers thread into his hair, pulling him in for a longing kiss. “I… you— you feel so…” you stammer, leaning forward to rest your head on his shoulder as you lose yourself on his cock.
He nods his head in agreement, turning his head to press a kiss on your damp cheek as he gently pets your hair. “I know, I know.”
You lose yourself all together, your legs shaking as you tighten your hold on him. “Caleb!” you moan.
His hips help you the rest of the way, his grip on your hips keeping you firmly planted as he meets your movements with thrusts of his own. “I know it, baby, I’ve got you,” he pants through a smile, guiding you through a few more fleshed out grinds on his lap. “Atta girl, use those hips.”
His arms wrap around you entirely, crushing you against the hard planes of his chest as you slowly ride the both of you through your shared orgasm. In that moment, in your house, in this space that belonged to you and Caleb alone—the two of you became one.
Heavy breathing and hammering heartbeats is all that consumes the two of you for a long while, skin to skin with far too much bliss brewing in your chests for either of you to handle alone.
Huffing softly, Caleb runs a hand up your side. “You okay in there?” he asks, turning his head to pepper soft kisses along your cheek. “C’mon, I need some proof of life.”
You chuckle, shaking your head as you bury your face into the crook of his neck. “Shut up, give me a second.”
He merely smiles, wrapping his arms around your middle once more as he tucks your head beneath his chin. Thirty seconds after finishing and you’re already mean. “There’s my girl.”
Caleb’s hands smooth over the soft planes of your back, giving your hips a soft squeeze as he revels in the feeling of your heartbeat drumming against his own. He can’t help himself from pressing a few kisses on the top of your head, his arms opting to wrap even tighter around you.
“I love—” he cuts himself off, eyes widening dazedly. Would that be too much? A confession of his undying love not long after ruining your date and making love with you for the first time? After a stretch of awkward silence, he kisses your head once more. “I love… cuddling with you. You’re so soft.”
You smile, nuzzling even closer to his chest, your nose brushing against skin. “Mm, I love you too, Caleb.”
His eyes widened, though he knows that communicating his confusion is futile. You knew him so well, too well.
“You do?” he whispers, turning his head just enough to look down at you.
In response to that, you nod. “Mm-hmm. I’ll love you even more if you tell me that you didn’t cancel those dinner reservations.”
Caleb smiles, running a hand over your hair. As if he’d given up his last ditch effort to take you out. “You know I didn’t.”

Could you do something NSFW for the lads boys for how they would approach a first time being intimate with the reader because she's nervous? Sensual reassurance is my bread and butter
I’m actually Ace so I'm not very good with NSFW stuff I'm so sorry! I did the best I could so I hope this is OK
Caleb
The glow of the TV flickered against the dimly lit living room, casting soft shadows across the walls. You sat cross-legged on the couch, fingers wrapped around the controller as your character sprinted across the screen. The game was absorbing, your focus sharp—until you felt a familiar presence settle beside you.
Caleb.
He had been quiet for a while, watching you play from a distance, arms crossed as he leaned against the doorway. But now, he finally moved closer, sinking onto the couch with a sigh.
"You always this serious when you play?" His voice was warm with amusement, and when you glanced over, you caught the faintest hint of a smirk tugging at his lips.
You scoffed, eyes flicking back to the screen. "Only when I’m winning."
"That why you're frowning so hard?"
You nudged him with your elbow, but he caught your wrist before you could pull away, his touch light but lingering. You tensed—just barely—and he must have noticed because he let go just as easily, masking it with a small chuckle.
A moment passed. The game continued, the background noise filling the silence between you. But then, Caleb shifted, resting an arm along the back of the couch, fingers just barely brushing your shoulder.
"Hey." His voice was softer now, not teasing—something careful beneath it.
You didn’t look at him.
"Hmm?"
There was a long pause before he spoke again. "You ever think about… us?"
Your hands froze on the controller. Your character stood still on-screen, completely open for attack, but you didn’t care. The only thing you could focus on was the weight of his words, the way they lingered in the air, unspoken meanings woven between them.
Slowly, hesitantly, you turned to look at him.
He was already watching you.
Caleb, for all his usual confidence, looked… uncertain. His expression was unreadable, his fingers tapping idly against his knee like he was working through something in his head.
You swallowed. "I think about us all the time."
His gaze flickered, something unreadable passing through his violet eyes. "I mean…" He exhaled, looking down briefly before meeting your eyes again. "Have you ever thought about—" He gestured vaguely between you both. "More?"
Your heart skipped.
Your throat went dry.
The game was still running, but it might as well not have been.
You weren’t naïve—you knew what he meant. And the fact that he was bringing it up like this, carefully, giving you an out if you wanted it, made something tighten in your chest.
You hesitated.
Not because you didn’t want it—because you did. God, you did. But there was something terrifying about the idea of that kind of closeness. You had spent so much of your life building walls, keeping people at arm’s length, making sure no one ever got close enough to hurt you.
And yet…
Here he was. Caleb. The one person you had ever let in. The one person who had waited.
You inhaled slowly. "I… don’t know."
His fingers twitched against his knee, but he nodded. He didn’t push, didn’t press—just let the words settle between you.
"That’s okay," he said, like he meant it.
Silence stretched, heavy and full of unsaid things.
You weren’t sure why you said it, or what made you finally brave enough, but before you could stop yourself, you spoke.
"I think I want to."
Caleb stilled.
It was subtle—the way his breath caught, the way his shoulders went rigid for half a second before he relaxed. But his eyes, always so unreadable, softened in a way you had never seen before.
"Yeah?" His voice was quiet.
You nodded. "Yeah."
Another pause. And then, instead of reaching for you, instead of pushing any further, he just… smiled.
"Okay."
And that was it.
No pressure. No expectations. Just an understanding.
And as you turned back to your game, trying to ignore the way your pulse hammered in your ears, you felt Caleb shift a little closer, his arm grazing yours, his presence warm and steady beside you.
Rafayel
The rhythmic sound of the brush against canvas filled the quiet room, blending with the distant hum of the city outside. You sat cross-legged on the floor, knees tucked to your chest, watching Rafayel as he painted. His entire world had narrowed down to the strokes of color spreading beneath his fingers, his golden eyes half-lidded in deep concentration.
You had always loved watching him paint. There was something intimate about it—the way his hands, so capable of destruction with his Evol, moved with infinite tenderness over the canvas. He painted as if each stroke mattered, as if every detail was a secret he was trying to put into form.
Tonight, though, something felt different.
The air between you held a strange weight. Rafayel wasn’t just painting—he was thinking. The slow, careful drag of his brush, the slight furrow in his brow, the way his lips parted as if he wanted to say something but held it back.
His strokes slowed further, his fingers hesitating before dipping the brush into a deep shade of red.
Then, without looking away from his work, he finally spoke.
"You always watch me so closely," Rafayel murmured, his voice quiet but sure. "It makes me wonder..."
You blinked. "Wonder what?"
His hand stilled. He set the brush down, rolling his shoulders back slightly before finally turning to look at you. His gaze was searching, as if studying you for something he wasn’t sure how to name.
"If you'd let me do the same," he said softly.
Your breath caught in your throat.
He wasn’t talking about painting.
The way his golden eyes lingered on you, the slight tension in his fingers as if resisting the urge to reach out—it was all so clear. Rafayel had always been affectionate in his own way, teasing touches, arms draped over your shoulders, lazy, warm hugs when he was feeling indulgent. But he had never pressed for more. Never asked.
Now, he was asking.
Your heartbeat thundered in your ears.
Rafayel stood, slow and deliberate, and crossed the space between you. He crouched in front of you, close enough that you could see the fine flecks of color staining his fingers, the way his breath stirred the air between you. He reached out, hesitant, his fingertips barely ghosting along the side of your face, testing.
You swallowed hard, gripping the hem of your shirt between your fingers. The warmth of his touch was barely there, but it sent something unsteady through you. A tremor, a shift.
"I—" you started, unsure of what you wanted to say. Unsure of what you were allowed to say.
Rafayel didn’t push. He never did. He let the moment settle, let the space between you feel safe instead of overwhelming. His fingers traced lightly over your cheek, his thumb stopping just shy of your lips.
"You can say no," he murmured. "I just..." He exhaled through his nose, something almost frustrated in the way his brows pulled together. "I just wanted you to know that I—" He stopped himself, lips pressing into a thin line before he shook his head. "Never mind."
You felt the space he tried to put between you. Felt him withdrawing, giving you an easy way out.
You didn’t want him to.
You reached up, hesitant, and covered his hand with your own before he could pull away completely. His fingers tensed under yours, surprised, before slowly relaxing.
You still weren’t sure what to say.
But you didn’t have to.
"Okay," you whispered, barely louder than a breath.
His fingers twitched under your touch. His eyes flickered with something deep and unreadable, something almost fragile before his lips curved into the faintest smile.
"Okay," he echoed, voice low, reverent.
And then, he leaned in
Sylus
The dim glow of the fireplace flickered across the spines of Sylus’ vast collection of books, casting long shadows as you ran your fingers along the leather-bound covers. His study was quiet, save for the distant hum of the city outside and the occasional crackle from the fire.
You had been in here dozens of times before, but tonight, something about the library called to you. Maybe it was the stillness of the night or the way the scent of old pages and Sylus’ cologne mixed in the air—musk, edelweiss, and something slightly metallic. Something undeniably him.
You tilted your head, squinting at a particular volume with a worn crimson spine. It looked important, but before you could reach for it—
"Curious thing, aren’t you?"
His voice was quiet, laced with amusement.
You jumped slightly, turning just in time to see Sylus leaning against the doorway, arms crossed, head tilted. His red eyes gleamed in the low light, watching you with something unreadable—something deep.
You huffed, crossing your arms. "You keep so many books locked away in here, yet I never see you actually read them. So, I figured I’d do some investigating."
Sylus stepped forward, slow and deliberate, the weight of his presence filling the space between you in an instant. You were suddenly very aware of how close you were to the shelves—trapped between aged paper and the man who had a habit of pulling you into his orbit.
He reached past you, plucking the crimson book from the shelf with ease. "I do read them," he murmured, flipping through the pages absentmindedly. "Some hold knowledge worth revisiting… others are simply reminders of things I cannot forget."
Your eyes flickered up to his face, studying the way his expression softened, if only slightly. There was something intimate about seeing him like this, surrounded by things that mattered to him.
"...And which category does this one fall into?" you asked, nudging his arm playfully.
He closed the book with a quiet thump, his gaze drifting to yours. The amusement in his expression lingered, but there was something else beneath it now—something heavier.
"It reminds me of patience," he said slowly, slipping it back onto the shelf. "And restraint."
You swallowed, your breath hitching slightly as his fingers trailed along the spines beside it, his knuckles brushing lightly against your arm in the process.
He wasn’t touching you, not really, but the weight of his presence sent a shiver down your spine.
"I have been patient, haven’t I?" he mused, tilting his head. "I’ve given you time. Space. Waited for you to come to me when you were ready."
Your pulse quickened.
There it was. The thing that had lingered in the air between you both for weeks—unspoken, but always felt.
Sylus had never been the type to push, never the type to demand. He was calculating, careful. A man who could take what he wanted but chose to wait instead. And yet, tonight, here in the quiet of his study, with the scent of old books and firelight wrapping around you both like a secret—he was asking.
Not demanding. Not expecting. Just… asking.
You inhaled slowly, trying to steady yourself. "You have," you admitted, voice barely above a whisper.
He studied you for a long moment, red eyes deep and endless, as if searching for something in your expression.
"And?" he prompted gently.
You hesitated. Not out of fear—no, you knew Sylus would never let harm come to you. But this was new.
The way he was looking at you. The way his voice dipped just enough to make your stomach twist. The way he was leaving the decision entirely in your hands.
You had spent so long resisting, so long pretending you didn’t notice the way he lingered, the way his fingers sometimes brushed against yours when he thought you wouldn’t catch it.
But you did.
And you wanted.
"...And I think I’m done making you wait," you murmured, voice softer now.
Sylus exhaled sharply—not out of frustration, but relief. His lips curved slightly, not quite a smirk, but something just as dangerous.
Then, as if sensing you were on the verge of bolting, he lifted a hand, slow and deliberate, letting his knuckles ghost over the side of your jaw.
"Are you sure, kitten?" he murmured.
Your breath hitched, heart hammering against your ribs.
But despite the nervous flutter in your stomach, despite the way your fingers curled slightly against the fabric of your sleeve—
You nodded.
Sylus let out a quiet chuckle, the sound low and pleased. He lifted your hand slowly, pressing a kiss to your knuckles, his lips lingering just long enough to make your skin tingle.
"Good," he murmured, a glint in his eye.
Xavier
The gentle rustle of paper filled the quiet space, your fingers absentmindedly tracing the spine of your book as you leaned against the arm of the couch. The apartment was dimly lit, warm from the soft glow of the lamps Xavier had turned on earlier. He had been quiet for a while now, stretched out beside you, one arm resting on the back of the couch as he absentmindedly toyed with a loose thread on his sleeve. You were used to his quiet presence, but something about tonight felt different—like he was trying to find the right words.
You didn’t notice him shift closer at first, not until the couch dipped slightly beneath his weight. His fingers brushed the edge of your book, just enough to catch your attention.
“You’ve been reading that for a while,” Xavier murmured, his voice soft, almost hesitant.
You hummed, turning the page. “It’s a good book.”
His lips quirked slightly, though there was something pensive in his expression as he exhaled through his nose. “You always say that.”
You turned to look at him then, noting the way his silver hair fell into his eyes, the slight crease between his brows. There was something on his mind, and now that he had your attention, he didn’t seem sure how to begin.
“…Is something wrong?” you asked, closing the book but keeping your finger between the pages.
Xavier was quiet for a moment, his gaze flickering to the book in your lap before settling on you. His hands, always so steady, fidgeted with the hem of his sweater.
“I’ve just been thinking,” he admitted finally, his voice even softer now. “About us.”
Your stomach fluttered, warmth creeping into your cheeks as you nodded for him to continue.
He hesitated, then reached for your hand, threading his fingers through yours. His grip was warm, familiar, but there was a different kind of intent behind it this time.
“I don’t want to rush anything,” he said, thumb brushing over your knuckles, “but I—” He paused, took a breath, and tried again. “I want to be closer to you.”
The meaning behind his words settled in your chest, sending a shiver down your spine. You knew what he meant, and you could see from the way he held your hand so carefully—like he was afraid to push too far—that this was difficult for him to bring up.
You swallowed, heart pounding. “You mean…?”
Xavier nodded, his gaze never leaving yours. “Only when you’re ready. If you’re ready.”
He gave you space to respond, his grip just loose enough that you could pull away if you wanted to. But you didn’t. Instead, you squeezed his hand and looked down, lips parting as you tried to steady your breathing.
You weren’t scared, but the idea of being that vulnerable with someone—even someone like Xavier—was new. Unfamiliar. He seemed to sense your hesitation, because he brought your hand to his lips, pressing a slow, lingering kiss to your fingers.
“There’s no rush,” he murmured against your skin. “I just…wanted you to know.”
Your heart softened at his words. He had never been the type to demand anything of you. He was patient, always waiting for you to meet him halfway, never asking for more than you were willing to give.
You took a deep breath, then finally met his eyes again, offering him a small but genuine smile. “I think…I’d like that.”
Xavier blinked, momentarily caught off guard, before his expression melted into something tender, something relieved. His other hand lifted to cup your cheek, thumb brushing against your skin with infinite care.
“You sure?” he asked, voice barely above a whisper.
You nodded, leaning into his touch. “I’m sure.”
And with that, Xavier smiled, his forehead pressing against yours as he let out a slow breath. His arms wrapped around you, pulling you into his chest, holding you like you were the most important thing in the world.
And maybe to him, you were.
Zayne
living room was finally in order. You exhaled softly, surveying your work—the pillows fluffed, the coffee table wiped down, and even Zayne’s usually pristine bookshelves had been dusted without disturbing their meticulous arrangement. The faint scent of cleaning products lingered in the air, blending with the subtle notes of his usual amber cologne.
You stretched your arms above your head, satisfied, just as you heard quiet footsteps approaching from behind.
Zayne’s voice was smooth, edged with something unreadable. “I didn’t ask you to do all this.”
You turned to face him, catching the way his gaze flickered over the room before settling on you. He wasn’t scolding you—if anything, he looked almost… thoughtful.
“I know,” you said, brushing a stray hair from your face. “But you’ve been busy, and I had the time.”
Zayne hummed, stepping further inside. He was still dressed from work, though he had shed his usual long coat. The top button of his shirt was undone, and he carried himself with that same composed presence, yet there was something softer in the way he looked at you now.
“I appreciate it,” he admitted, glancing at the freshly organized space. His eyes returned to you, and there was a pause, as if he were debating something.
Then, in a quieter tone, he added, “You take care of things even when no one asks you to.”
You shrugged. “I just like helping.”
Zayne was quiet for a moment before he moved, his steps slow, deliberate. He stopped just close enough that you could feel the warmth radiating from him.
“I’ve been thinking,” he said, his voice measured. “About us.”
You swallowed, caught off guard by the sudden shift in conversation. “Oh?”
His gaze searched yours. “I don’t want to rush anything.” A pause. “But I don’t want to ignore it either.”
Your fingers curled slightly against your palm. There was a weight to his words, but not an uncomfortable one. Just… careful.
“Zayne…” You hesitated, feeling the air between you grow heavier—not with tension, but with something else. Something patient.
He lifted a hand slightly, not quite touching you but close enough that the intent was clear. “I just need to know if… when the time comes, you’ll tell me what you want.”
Your heart beat a little faster. He wasn’t pushing, wasn’t demanding. Just waiting. Always waiting, as if making sure he wasn’t stepping over a line you hadn’t even drawn yet.
Your voice was softer when you answered.
“I will.”
A flicker of relief crossed his face. His hand finally closed the space, brushing lightly over yours. The touch was barely there, but it still sent a quiet warmth through you.
“And… if I said I was ready?” you asked, heartbeat loud in your ears.
Zayne held your gaze, his fingers resting just against yours, grounding.
“Then I’d ask you to stay.”
You exhaled, the weight in your chest shifting into something lighter, something certain.
“…Then I’ll stay.”
Zayne’s lips curved ever so slightly—a rare, quiet smile. His thumb brushed over your knuckles before he gave a small nod, as if sealing the unspoken promise between you.
And though the night had yet to unfold, in that moment, something had already begun.

Love and Deepspace boys as dads
Info : 3.1k+ word count whole (around 650 - 900 per part), includes : Rafayel, Zayne, Xavier, Sylus, reader is female, reader and LIs are married, mentions of arguments, possible lore spoilers or slightly inaccurate lore references.
Notes : I did my best to keep the parts even :D They are all so supportive, I love the game because of this so I had to include that in the fic as well <3
Rafayel
﹒ ⁺ I see him as a girl dad, he would probably have twins.
﹒ ⁺ He loves his little daughters more than anything! They are the light of his day, even when they mess up sometimes. He has no issues taking care of them if you aren't able to because of missions.
﹒ ⁺ Rafayel would be very patient. Yes, he has his moments when even he loses a little control, but overall your kids would be well behaved so there rarely were moments when he needed to get angry at them.
﹒ ⁺ The playful type. He likes to take them out somewhere fun, perhaps to go swimming or maybe to a nearby amusement park, or even on a small vacation in a different country with you by their side of course.
﹒ ⁺ They would be half lemurians! The girls are naturally excellent swimmers and they are very loyal, as well as interested in arts, but they look human and don't have a tail. He loves to sing them lullabies in Lemurian and he would try to teach them a little about Lemuria as well.
﹒ ⁺ After they grew up, he was even more invested in their lives. He knew all the drama, everything that was happening in school and you bet if your daughters ever came home crying he would be quick to do something about it. Rafayel would also not mind doing skincare with all of you! He did it even before he knew you (in this lifetime) so now he just got to do it with the entire family.
﹒ ⁺ He still makes sure the two of you get plenty of time together and he takes you out on dates, even well after he became your husband. He does his best to split the responsibility 50/50 but with how frequent his exhibitions seem to be, it’s hard, though he is always fully supportive of you and appreciates the effort you make for the family.
“Mommy look, look!” Your daughters called out to you as you were relaxing on a towel nearby. Since you were free from work and Rafayel finished his pieces for the exhibition, it was a perfect day to spend it on the beach, especially because the weather was warm and it was right in front of your home anyways.
As you looked over at where the girls were, you could see a sandcastle being built, with your husband, Rafayel, helping them with it. It was very visible which parts Rafayel worked on and which ones the girls did, but it was endearing since they tried to replicate what he did.
“Awh, it looks wonderful! Good job, girls!” You cheered them on, they were trying their best and it was all that mattered, they had fun with their dad too, it wasn't surprising since they got a little bit of his artistic spirit from him.
“Heyy, I'm here helping them as well, you know.” Your husband pouted playfully as he got up and walked towards your resting spot.
He kissed your forehead gently after he adjusted your parasol to make sure the sun won't blind you.
“How are you doing, cutie?” He checked in on you, the beach day was also a way for you to take a break and relax, with constant either work or motherhood activities you felt very tired out as of late so Rafayel decided that he would keep the girls busy for a while so you would be able to relax a little. He does his best to help out daily but you understand that he is in fact a world famous painter so his job does keep him busy sometimes. “Much better, thank you Rafayel.” “Don’t thank me, I’m your husband and they are my kids too you know. Just let me know if you ever need a break, okay? I don’t mind ignoring Thomas every once in a while if it means I can spend some more time with my favourite girls.”
Zayne
﹒ ⁺ I think he would have both a girl and a boy, with around a 4 year gap between them.
﹒ ⁺ Ever since your oldest son was born, he took a lot more rest days from his job. His job was important, yes, but family came first, especially after you got pregnant with a second child. Zayne was very active in their lives and he was there to keep the entire family in check - especially when it came to health.
﹒ ⁺ I think he picks up the kids from school almost daily and he is never late. He makes them school lunch while you handle breakfast for the family and later on he gets the kids dressed when you prepare yourself for the day. The responsibility is very even and no one feels left out or overworked.
﹒ ⁺ He fully believes in raising kids to be smart, kind and helpful but also responsible. I feel like he would be against giving them a phone or access to the internet before he was sure they would be ready for it and even after they get it, he would remind them to not spend all day on the internet and he would do his best to go out with the kids so they would be able to play around outside.
﹒ ⁺ Zayne never gets mad at the kids, he just can’t. Even if something does happen, he handles it with a straight face and a calm voice while he helps them to navigate the difficult situation. The only time he would get slightly annoyed at them would be if they dare to disrespect you - he is a firm believer that since you gave birth to them and took care of them so well, they should respect you, no questions asked.
﹒ ⁺ The twins make frequent visits to his office, he just can't say no to them when they come in… He is still very professional and will make them wait in the waiting room if he has a patient but otherwise they are free to hang out with him and he likes to teach them about his job.
﹒ ⁺ He is a little sad to see your kids get older. It's amazing that they are becoming more mature and responsible but he also has a hard time keeping up with them after they become teens.
“Okay, open up, you need to take this for your fever.” Zayne said, his tone fully professional, his doctor mode still on it seemed. The kids caught a cold and your husband was extremely worried about this, though it was also cute to see him like that.
“Noo, this will taste horrible!”
“Yeah, it always does!”
The siblings said almost in unison, and your poor lover just sighed in response. It felt like the hundredth time he tried to get them to take their medicine but it always needed lots of fighting for them to do so. Deciding that it was enough of watching Zayne suffer, you entered the room.
“Sweethearts, you need to take this like your daddy says so, you don’t want to be sick all the time, do you?” You tried to persuade them sweetly as you sat down next to them on the bed to bring them some comfort. “I’m not taking this, it tastes like toothpaste!” “Besides, if I’m sick I can skip school.”
“..What if I give you sweets?” You decided to take a different approach, it was bound to work. Your kids instantly agreed of course, it would help to fix the taste of the medicine and it would be like a little reward to them and hopefully, they would get better soon. Your husband just watched in slight disbelief that the attempt worked.
“Giving them sweets after doing something they should do anyways can teach them bad habits.” “Do you want some too?” “... Yes.”
Xavier
﹒ ⁺ I think he would have a little boy, one kid is plenty enough but he also thinks about having a girl in the future as well.
﹒ ⁺ He was the one to take care of him after he was born and he let you rest instead. Xavier treasures his sleep a lot but when your little star wakes up, he is the one to get up from the bed and cuddle him to sleep again.
﹒ ⁺ I think he would read him bedtime stories as well, though you often find him asleep with the book in his hand. It was adorable, really, because somehow he could fall asleep while taking care of him but who were you to complain, at least you could rest a little.
﹒ ⁺ Xavier would prefer to take care of the kid most of the time and let you work or hang out with your friends (just not Charlie perhaps). He is still your partner at work of course and whenever at least one of you isn’t at home, you hire a nanny to care for the little sunshine. But overall, he takes a lot of the responsibility, though he loves every single moment of it because he never thought that he would be able to live long enough to see a little clone of you and him combined sleep so softly in his arms.
﹒ ⁺ He is very protective of your kid, just as much as he is about you. Xavier does his best to keep him away from wanderers, he doesn’t even want your child to look at them because the little one will have nightmares later on. Whenever a wanderer attack does happen, he handles it with ease and then checks up on the two of you, he is always so worried as well
﹒ ⁺ When it comes to parenting, he would look like a relaxed type, but he is very protective. During childhood he is very fun and relaxed, he lets him play around and explore and has no issue going to the cinema or to a playground with him. Teenage years are a different world though, especially if your kid gets a partner - you bet he will do a background check on them, their parents, their ancestors, whatever, just to make sure they are enough for your son.
﹒ ⁺ He handles any upset situations with ease and a mostly calm face, he does his best to talk with your kid and explain the situation before trying to even punish him somehow. Afterwards however, in the comfort of your bedroom, you see that he is disturbed by those conversations often and he might get more clingy and more silent after this. It just pains him whenever your kid does something bad and mostly because later on he has to do something about this. Worry not, however, give him a few kisses and reassuring words and he will be asleep in your arms in no time, almost like a baby.
“... and then the knight saved the princess. The end.” “Read me another one daddy!” You came back from a night out a few minutes ago, but the sight of your husband reading a bedtime story to your son was so cute you couldn’t help but observe from the door. Though soon enough, Xavier noticed you and you swore the room almost got a little lighter after he saw you there all alive and well.
“Welcome back, dinner is ready if you are hungry. I will heat it up for you in a second after I finish here.” He greeted you with a smile after you came closer to them, he leaned in and gave you a sweet kiss on the lips as a welcome gift.
“No need, I can heat it up on my own, do you want some as well?” You asked him, it would be nice to eat with him, spend some quality time together. All you wanted to do was rest in his arms, to be honest.
“Sure, I can eat a little. Heat up a portion for me too please.” You nodded, it was nice that he agreed, at least you would have some company and you would be able to tell him about all that happened on the night with your friends. You were working hard lately and Xavier was actually the one to propose that idea to you. Your gaze soon drifted to the little one in his bed, already all tucked in and looking sleepy. “Hey baby, I missed you.” You gently kissed his forehead and he murmured something in return, it was clear he was close to falling asleep. “I will go to the dining room soon, just have to finish putting this one to bed.” You nodded and headed to the kitchen to head up the food for the two of you. After about ten minutes though, you noticed that he still hadn't come, you even managed to change into your pajamas already but he was nowhere to be seen so you decided to check your son's bedroom again.
Sure enough, you found Xavier, asleep with a book in his hand while he leaned against your son's bed. You smiled and covered him gently with a blanket.
You sure loved this sleepy star of yours.
Sylus
﹒ ⁺ He would have twins 100% and more kids too if you are up for it. It would probably be two girls.
﹒ ⁺ He is a rich dad. He buys them whatever they want, but he makes sure not to spoil them too much so they will still be respectful towards hard work and money. If they ever need something for their school trip or perhaps their hobby, he will often buy them it. Their birthdays or holidays are very prosperous and full of joy, Sulus gets the best gifts for everyone because there is no better use of his money than to make his own family happy.
﹒ ⁺ Sylus does his best to not get kids into his dark business, they don’t need to worry their pretty heads about it. He keeps them a secret, only Luke and Kieran know and oftentimes, he actually orders them to stay at the mansion and keep the kids and you safe in case something happens when he is away on business.
﹒ ⁺ Disrespect isn’t something that he would tolerate, but he handles it well. Sylus is cold during those talks, because he thought the two of you raised them better, but he understands that the kids make mistakes sometimes and he tries to make them realise their mistakes. In the end, he can never be too harsh on them, he tries but he is too much of a softie when it comes to your kids.
﹒ ⁺ You take care of the kids most of the time and pick them up from school. Sylus is a busy man, you knew this even before you got married so it was fine. He however feels guilty that he can’t spend as much time with them as he would like so he tries to make this up to them and you as much as possible. If you ever tell him that you need a break and feel tired then you already know that he suddenly has the next day off and he is up and with the kids the entire time while you get sent to a spa or on vacation somewhere.
﹒ ⁺ He would try to help them with homework after they enter school, but he is always so confused about this. Don’t get him started on arts and music, he doesn’t understand this at all and he doesn’t know how one even teaches such a subject when it comes to the talent and abilities of the individuals, which not all have (like him).
﹒ ⁺ I think the kids would somehow get some of his dragonic traits. They love to hoard things like toys or your jewelry in their room, they get so annoyed when you give one sibling more attention than the other and of course, they even look a lot more like Sylus rather than you. The cocky bastard has strong genes. Of course they can’t have a tail, horns or wings, but the twins dressed up as dragons once for halloween and Sylus was ready to cry on the spot.
Currently you were at the table, drawing with the twins as an afterschool activity. The entire day was a bit hectic, you had a hard mission at work, then you had to rush to pick the kids up, the girls got into a little bit of trouble at school so you had to listen to the teacher scold them which sucked and now they were very energetic after school while you were absolutely drained. You did your best to appear happy, it wasn’t all their fault that the day sucked so much for you and you didn’t want to take it out on them. “I’m home, girls.” Sylus said as he finally, finally came back. He left yesterday morning and didn’t come back until now. You missed him and were worried despite knowing he would be able to handle himself. The girls ran up to him for hugs immediately.
“Daddy! Where were you? We missed you!” The girls said and then they eagerly began to talk to him about what he missed. Such energetic kids they were.
You just watched, resting your elbows on the table, you had a moment of rest it seemed.
Sylus, who noticed that you didn’t go up to greet him, hurried the girls to their room for a moment before he approached you. “Hey there, kitten. Missed me?” He asked as he gave you a kiss and a slight side hug as he noticed how tired you looked. “I did, you sure took your sweet time to come back.” You responded, with a little more bite than you wanted. But Sylus didn’t get mad, rather he seemed worried.
“How are you holding up? Did the girls give you trouble?” “A little. I’m just… tired, it was a rough day.” You sighed, you didn’t try to hide that you were exhausted, it was visible and you knew he would do his best to help so there was no point.
“I see… how about I take them somewhere fun now, get them to use up all their energy so they will go to sleep nicely and then later on, we can spend some time together, hm? You just rest right now, catch up on some sleep and selfcare.” He proposed while he rubbed your shoulder. He knew taking care of kids could be exhausting sometimes so he would be more than happy to let you rest now and then treat you someplace nice later on.
“That sounds nice, thank you Sylus..” “Don’t thank me, just go rest, I will take care of our little angels."

warnings: mentions of nausea and vomiting.
you let out a sharp gasp of pain, feeling a dull ache forming against your temples as you struggled to keep your nausea at bay.
this had to be a migraine, one that was potent enough to make your stomach turn sour as your brain was felt pounding against the confines of your skull. your boyfriend had left momentarily to grab the groceries that had been delivered to your shared home-
leaving you feeling dizzy and alone as you braced yourself against the onyx counters. your vision had gone hazy, casting what looked like spider webs across your line of sight, your steps uneven when you attempt to walk into a nearby restroom.
you became dimly aware of heavy steps and a grunt of your name, a powerful pair of arms wrapped around your form to help with your balance. “sweetie, what’s wrong?”
you swallow thickly, struggling to get the words out, “sick… bathroom, now!”
needing no further urging from you, sylus picks up your form with ease, taking quick strides towards your master bedroom as he helped you brace yourself over the toilet. you hid your face, your dry heaves echoing throughout the area as you felt the contents of your lunch come out of you. along with the horrible sensation of puking your guts out, the intensity of your headache seemed to grow by a tenfold, leaving you drained and miserable by the end of it all.
sylus flushed the toilet, wiping at your face with a damp and warm handkerchief. he wipes at the corner of your mouth with concern shining within his rufescent eyes. “what happened? we ate the same meal for lunch-“
“migraine… it came suddenly.” you admit to him with a gasp, practically clinging to sylus’s broad chest when he carries you out of the bathroom and into your shared room.
“i told you that you needed to stop staying up so late, waiting for me. that migraine must have been triggered by your lack of sleep.” sylus gently scolds you, and you could only bring yourself to let out a soft whimper in response. clinging to the front of his shirt, you rest the side of your cheek against his chest, allowing sylus to settle you on top of the bed.
placing the comforter over your form, sylus disappears momentarily before coming back into the room with some medication and a cold bottle of water in hand. he takes out two white tablets and hands them to you, “take this. it should help with easing your pain.”
you nod, praying that your vision would return to normal soon when you place the tablets within your mouth. taking the bottle of water, you uncap it and drink as much as you could handle, making sure that you had swallowed the tablets.
a few minutes later, the webs finally dissipate from your vision while dimming down the harsh intensity of your migraine to a tiny simmer. your mind was clearer now, and you were able to see sylus’s smug face smirking down at you.
“hm, what’s got you grinning like that?” you ask while giving his chest a poke with your fingertip. he simply shakes his head, letting out a rich chuckle while grabbing a hold of your hand to place a kiss at the back of them. “nothing, sweetie, it’s just… i find it nice to see you depending so much on me. i could honestly get used to it.”
you roll your eyes at him, feigning annoyance while at the same time gripping his wrist. you pull him into the bed, and despite how laughable it was to think that you could ever overpower sylus-
he falls into the plush mattress with you, already taking you within his arms while rolling back into bed. feeling the sensation of his sweet kisses against your hair, you visibly relax while clinging to him. no words were spoken, yet you could feel the depths of his devotion for you through his actions alone.
perhaps you could get used to relying on him as well ♡

I've got this doubt that I can't shake off: if MC's pregnancy, for some reason, is a very tough and risky one (both might die or something), which one of the guys would have the saddest breakdown at some point (just ugly crying into MC's arms after months of keeping it together for her sake) and which would have the angriest (trashing entire offices, taking their anger out on their enemies or both)?
(I had intended to respond earlier, but man…that trailer…) Gosh, you guys know how to prod at that special part of my brain with these asks lately… 🥺 I may or may not have...started writing...little...snippets, really... 😔
Zayne would go into “doctor-mode.” He is going to utilize his medical knowledge and resources to give you the best care possible for both you and the baby, and while it seems you have nothing to worry about, you will feel the emotional-withdrawal from him as everything will feel so methodical and clinical and he forgets completely his role as a husband until you break down crying.
You had tried to keep your emotions in check these last few months, rationalizing that Zayne was never an expressive person, but his feelings and actions were always sincere. He was pacing across the bedroom reviewing with you about your recent prenatal checkup and what it meant for both you and this baby. It had been like this for several months now, and with your weak heart and the risk it posed for both you and the baby, Zayne had been extra attentive about your prenatal care.
As you sat on your bed, heavy with his child and close to your due date, listening to him rattle off different medical terms and speaking to you less as a wife but more as if you were his patient, you could feel your emotions peaking. You couldn’t remember the last time he was affectionate with you or actually asked how you were personally feeling throughout this whole pregnancy. He was by your side more, but you had never felt as lonesome as now, needing him back as your husband and not a doctor. You could feel the tears brimming, but it was getting harder each day to suppress your feelings.
Everything Zayne was saying sounded like muffled gibberish to you. You could barely focus on the present, barely acknowledging even the faint movements of the baby you were carrying, feeling more lost in your loneliness. You finally let your emotions and hormones collide and broke down crying in front of him, startling him immediately. Within seconds, he was on his knees before you, grasping your arms as he asked worriedly, “What’s wrong? Are you hurting somewhere?”
It took you a minute to gather yourself before you felt calm enough to speak, finally revealing to him how you hated who he had become during this time. At first, Zayne looked shocked, not quite comprehending what you had just said to him, but the more he pondered your hurt words, the more he realized there was a lot of truth in what you had said.
He kissed your belly, surprising you. Then, he got up and sat down next to you on the bed, pulling you into his embrace as he kissed your forehead, his apologies immediate and sincere.
“I didn’t mean to,” he said, holding you a little tighter, “I just…don’t want anything to happen to you. Either of you.”
You leaned into his embrace, and sighed softly, “I know…I’m not mad at you. I’m just…”
Zayne looked down, noticing how your words gradually stopped and you were withdrawing again. He lifted your chin, making you look at him as he coaxed you gently, “Just what?”
“I just miss you,” you said, voice breaking again and fresh tears brimmed your eyes. As he brushed your tears away, you cried harder, “And I’m scared…and I can’t stop thinking about all of the things that could go wrong…and then I realize stressing over this is also hurting the baby and…and…”
Zayne looked guilty as he realized that while he was too focused on your physical health, he had neglected your mental and emotional state, realizing how you had been suppressing your feelings for his sake.
He sat back against the headboard and pulled you back to rest against him. He apologized again for his neglect, and for the rest of that night, he listened and comforted you through your anxieties. There was that familiar warmth in his embrace that you missed, and the softness in his eyes returned as he listened to you earnestly. While your anxieties were still there, they seemed more manageable now that you realized the man by your side in this moment was not Doctor Zayne but your Zaynie, your beloved husband.
Rafayel is angry and emotional and will lash out and say things he doesn’t mean, such as he would rather lose the baby than you.
It had been like walking on eggshells these past few months. You had tried to keep your spirits up in spite of the situation, but eventually everything that had been quieted was going to surface, reaching an ugly peak.
You just had never expected him to say such words to you.
“You…don’t want…the baby?” You felt like you were choking as you uttered those words back to Rafayel.
He looked conflicted, his face twisted in pain and frustration. “I…I didn’t mean it,” he finally said, seeming to struggling with not just his words, but also his feelings.
You glared at him with tears in your eyes. “You said it! What could you have possibly meant to say if not that!”
“I don’t want to lose you!” he finally yelled back, frustrated that his words were being used against him by you of all people.
A strained silence filled the space, creating a rift between the two of you as you stared at one another in shock. In the distant, there was the cries of seagulls flying outside the studio, the sound of waves crashing on the shore a peculiar reminder that time was still moving forward even as you two stood frozen, locked in this seemingly unbreakable tension.
After several beats, Rafayel dropped to his knees, his head buried into his hands as he apologized, though it seemed more like he was apologizing for hurting you and not because of what he had said.
You walked closer to him, surprised when his arms wrapped around your waist, and his face pressed against your rounded stomach.
“I’m sorry,” he apologized again. He didn’t look up at you, but his words were heard clear: “I just can’t lose you again.”
You stared down at his head of hair, unsure of what you could say in this moment. He looked so broken and helpless, and while you understood his sentiments, it still did nothing to alleviate the hurt you felt at his earlier words. Shakily, you let your hand rest on the back of his head, as you said softly, “My fishie…I won’t leave you…”
You said that to comfort him, but even you had doubts about whether you could hold true to your words. It was so bright and sunny outside in Linkon today, so why did your future look so gray and uncertain? This was to be a joyous time in both of your lives, but even as you both felt the baby kicked and moved, that cloud of doubt remained.
Xavier is stunned and feels helpless.
It had been an awkward couple of weeks. Xavier was quieter than usual, but he still answered you whenever you spoke. You didn’t think he was upset at you, but you also couldn’t ignore the sudden distance between the two of you.
“Captain Jenna had put me on desk duty for the remainder of my pregnancy,” you told him over dinner one night.
He didn’t answer you, appearing distracted as he was grilling some beef slices on an electric griddle.
“Xavier?”
“Huh?” He looked up, surprised. “Oh, sorry, I had something on my mind. What did you say?”
“I…I said Captain Jenna is putting me on desk duty,” you repeated hesitantly.
“That’s good,” he answered and picked a slice of beef off the griddle to place in your bowl. “You should have some more meat for protein.”
“…thank you,” you said, noticing the way his eyes kept averting with yours. You placed your bowl on the table, upset now. “Xavier, did I do something wrong?”
He looked taken aback by the sudden question. He immediately shook his head. “Wrong? Why would you even think that?”
You frowned. “You’ve barely spoken with me lately,” you said, “It’s been nothing but ‘yeah,’ ‘okay,’ ‘alright’ from you lately.”
“I’m sorry,” he looked at you with remorse etched on his face. He sighed as he turned the griddle off before he rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. “I…I just have something on my mind.”
“You keep saying that,” you retorted, mildly irked now, “What could be on your mind that is more important than being here with me?”
“You.”
Your irritation disappeared in that moment, his solemn gaze resting on you. Slowly, you found your voice, your words stuttering a little in confusion, “Wha…what do…you mean?”
“You and the baby,” he clarified. “Ever since the doctor said this was a high-risk pregnancy, I just…can’t stop thinking about…everything that could go wrong.”
“Xavier…”
“I don’t know how to make this easier for you,” he continued, suddenly unable to hide his anxiety any longer, “And even if we do everything right, what if things go wrong at the last minute? What if—no, just…no…”
You gasped when he suddenly came to you, his arms wrapped around you immediately in a tight embrace. He kissed the top of your head and apologized again, “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you upset.”
“Xavier…it will be alright,” you reassured him.
He was silent.
“We’ll both be alright,” you continued.
“Right…” he answered, but you noticed he still didn’t want to let you go. You also didn’t want him to part, so you both remained in this moment a while longer.
Sylus has all of the money and connections in the world. He is going to ensure that both you and the baby will be alright throughout the pregnancy until birth. On the surface, he seems calm and confident, but to keener eyes, such as yours, you will pick up on his anxiety through little tics or behavioral changes.
The moment you had told Sylus you were pregnant with his baby, he lavished you with even more luxuries than before. You received the best care possible, especially when it came to light that this pregnancy was not going to be easy for you and there was concern about the health of the baby. Sylus made sure the most qualified doctors were monitoring you and he had ordered the personal chefs to prepare only nutritional dishes for you and the baby.
He was adamant that you received only the best of the best, and to strangers, Sylus appeared to be so level-headed and grounded, not a trace of worry could be seen on his face.
You, however, noticed how he seemed to drum his fingers on hard surfaces more often. He would also pull out his coin to flip at the most peculiar time, and his visits to the boxing ring also seemed to have increased. There were so many odd tics that you couldn’t ignore, but you suspected you knew the reason why.
One evening, you slipped into bed earlier while Sylus was still sleeping. It would almost be time for him to wake up from his slumber, so you waited. When you noticed the fluttering of his eyes, you leaned in closer, smiling as your face was the first thing he saw once he awoken.
“Good morning,” you greeted him with a mischievous smile, leaning down to peck his lips.
“Mm…morning,” he answered back in amusement, still a little groggy and bleary-eyed. He yawned. “What did I do to deserve seeing such a sweet sight first thing after waking up?”
“I wanted to talk.”
His mirth disappeared in that instance upon hearing your stern tone. He shifted in bed, sitting up with his back to the headboard. “Is something the matter?”
“You tell me.”
Sylus shook his head in confusion. “Sweetie, you are going to have to elaborate more,” he responded with a frown. “What are we talking about?”
“Are you…worried?”
“Worry?”
You rested a hand over your belly, his gaze instantly following your movement. “About the pregnancy,” you clarified.
“Of course I worry,” he answered back in that same even tone.
“You…seemed so assured, but lately, I’ve noticed these little…tics,” you explained, elaborating to him more in details as he listened patiently. When you finished, Sylus gently pulled you closer to him, letting your body rest against his. His arm wrapped around you, his hand resting on your belly to rub gentle little circles.
“I will always worry about you,” he said, “but panicking over things will not achieve anything, so I just redirected my worries elsewhere. Is that a problem?”
You shook your head and looked up at him. “No, I was just…wondering if you wanted to talk about them with me.”
He laughed and bent down to peck your lips. “You don’t have to worry about me.”
“What if I want to?”
He smiled in amusement and kissed you again. “Then who am I to argue with my pregnant wife?”
“What would you do?”
“Do what?”
“If…I don’t ma—”
“You will be fine,” he immediately cut you off, his demeanor shifting entirely. “You will both be fine.”
“But—”
He lay back down in bed, pulling you closer to him in a tighter embrace. “Lull me to sleep,” he said instead.
“But isn’t it time for you to wake—” You clammed up when he shot you a pointed look. You could sense his unease, feeling his fingers digging into your flesh a little more. He was upset, deeply troubled, and you hated how he carried that burden alone on his shoulders.
“Alright,” you answered, snuggling into his embrace. You sang a song, a lullaby you had learned recently that you hoped to sing to your baby in a few months. As you sang, Sylus quietly hummed along, and it wasn’t long before you both fell asleep together, your worries left behind as you dreamed of the upcoming months when a new bundle of joy would arrive at Onychinus’ base.
Caleb is nervous, but he pours himself into taking care of you, because that is all he has ever known. He’s never liked seeing you ill or hurt, so he is going to do everything possible to make sure you receive the best care ever. He will do a lot of research and ask as many questions as he could to gain insight on what can be done to minimize the risk so both you and the baby will make through the pregnancy as safely as possible. He does not even want to consider the possibility of losing you.
You didn’t have any autonomy over yourself anymore. Whatever you wanted to do, Caleb did it for you first. Whatever you were craving, he would negate it half the time, citing it was better for you to eat a healthier alternative.
Even though you wanted to be mad at him, you knew he was doing this out of worry after the reveal that there were some concerns about this pregnancy. The moment that you had heard the word “risky,” everything afterwards suddenly sounded muffled as you were frozen in shock, a sudden anxiety creeping in as you stared down at your belly. Meanwhile, Caleb was already proactive, asking what needed to be done, what you both needed to be aware of, and so on and so forth. As if he could sense your worries, his hands immediately rested on your shoulders as he stood behind you while he continued to converse with the doctor.
He was your pillar and your protector. He always was, and he always will be.
Even if sometimes you found him to be overbearing.
You had missed many of his more indulgent dishes ever since he had put you on a clean-diet, and each time, you made a point of letting him know just how upset you were as you sulked when he finished setting the table with steamed fish and green veggies with bamboo shoots.
“It’s only temporary,” he reassured you, smiling to himself as he watched you picked at the fish half-heartedly.
“Most women get to enjoy their cravings while pregnant,” you said sullenly, taking a small bite of the fish.
He nodded in agreement as he sat down opposite of you. “If this was a normal pregnancy, then of course you should be able to indulge on your cravings—”
You looked at him hopefully.
“But your cholesterol level is higher than normal, and we also need to be cautious about the risk of developing gestational diabetes—”
You sulked again. “You are killing my appetite again.”
Caleb laughed softly as he set his chopsticks down. He cocked his head to the side, his chin resting in the palm of his hand as he leaned forward on the table. “What are you craving, pipsqueak?”
“What does it matter? You won’t let me have anything…” You bit into your bamboo shoot, not making eye contact with him.
“Pretend I will,” he answered in the same tone.
You shrugged. “…Pasta.”
“Pasta? Okay,” he answered thoughtfully, “What else?”
“Hmm…pizza…cheesecake…dumplings…”
Caleb covered his mouth to suppress his laughter as he watched you list each food longingly, practically lost in your own world and not even paying attention to him anymore. When it seemed you had finished listing, he questioned you again, “That’s all?”
You sighed and shook your head.
“What else is there? You’ve practically listed all of the food available on takeout menus,” he teased.
“…Braised chicken wings…”
Caleb looked surprised. “What?”
“Your braised chicken wings,” you clarified and looked up to meet his surprised gaze.
“Okay,” he said after a moment, “I’ll make some braised chicken wings tomorrow for dinner.”
You perked up. “R-really?” You eyed him suspiciously. “What about my clean diet?”
“In moderation would be fine,” he answered, smiling, “Besides, having the mother of my child miserable the whole time is also not good for the baby.”
You huffed at him, annoyed. “I’m miserable because of you.”
He blinked, not expecting you to suddenly be mad at him again. “I’m only—”
“I can’t enjoy the food I like, I’m tired all of the time, I can’t even see my feet anymore, my back hurts, my feet are swollen—how am I fat when I’m not even eating anything yummy?!”
“…are you having a mood swing?”
“Yes!” you cried out hysterically, nearly sobbing, “It’s your fault, too, I can’t control my hormones right now!”
Caleb laughed helplessly as he stood from his seat and crossed over to your side. Immediately, you wrapped your arms around his waist, your face buried against his stomach as you continued to cry and list your grievances with him.
“Alright, alright, it is my fault I gotten you pregnant,” he agreed. He peered down at the top of your head, smiling when you sniffled against his shirt while he rubbed the back of your head soothingly.
“…dummy…”
“Yes, yes, I’m a dummy,” he continued in a very pacifying tone.
“…A big dummy…”
“Mmhmm…”
“The biggest…”
“Right, right…”
You looked up, suspicious again when he continued to be very agreeable. You yelped in surprise when he immediately grabbed your face and leaned down to steal your lips with his. It took you a few seconds to register that he was kissing you before you gave in, feeling a warmth in your chest at his sudden display of affections.
“What else?” he asked softly when he pulled back a few centimeters, still close enough that his breath brushed against your trembling lips while his eyes locked with yours. You could feel his thumb brushing away the tears that were still on your cheeks.
“…you…”
“Me?”
“Uh huh…”
“What do you want from me?”
“Just you…”
He laughed and kissed your forehead. “Alright, pipsqueak,” he said, “You have me. I am all yours. Forever.”
You guided his hand down to your pregnant belly, smiling when that same look of surprise crossed his face again when he felt the baby kicked. Your smile widened as you answered him, “You’re ours.”
He knelt down on one knee, his large hand still resting over your belly as he smiled back before his eyes drifted down to your stomach. “Yeah,” he said, sighing almost as if in disbelief by this current life he was living, “Both of yours. Forever.”

The LADS Men Catch You Masturbating To A Photo Of Them
Yall can read the title but this is mature content. Big thanks to @tbaluver my lovely beta reader who helped me not rip my hair out as I was writing and editing and editing and editing again.
Xavier
Xavier was frustrated again.
He knew it was his own damn fault for sending you a photo of him with his shirt slightly unbuttoned but it was two damn buttons. He didn’t think you’d be so hot and bothered by a single photo of him that you’d hide yourself away in your room and jack off to it. If he’d known you’d neglect him like this, opting to pleasure yourself to a photo of him instead, he never would’ve sent it in the first place. Sure, you hadn’t known he was awake, and sure you hadn’t known he’d been dying to see you, but you could’ve sent him a message saying you were horny. You could’ve asked for help.
Now he was sulking outside of your bedroom door, listening to you whimper and whine, and it was driving him crazy. Finally, he’d had enough, and without warning, he charged into the room.
You yelped and reflexively yanked the blanket over yourself. “Xavier! Wh-what are you doing here? I th-thought you were at home asleep.”
“So you figured you’d quietly get off to him and let me continue sleeping, is that it? Do you think I can’t satisfy your needs like he can?” His eyes darkened as he made his way towards you.
Your brows furrowed in confusion. “Xavier. What do you mean ‘he’? It’s literally you. I’m getting off to you.”
He grabbed your wrists and pinned them above you, allowing your phone to fall to the side. “No, if you were getting off to me, it would be my cock getting soaked and not your fingers. Wanna try that again?”
You swallowed. “Please… please Xavier. Help me. Please, I wanna come on your cock.”
“That’s much better.” He growled.
He wasted no time at all in yanking down his pants and positioning himself over you. He dragged the tip of his swollen cock along your slicked entrance, allowing your arousal to drizzle down his impressive length. He slapped it against your clit a couple times in a teasing manner, but then finally just jammed himself inside you. Maybe if you’d approached him from the very beginning, asked for his help nicely, he would’ve been gentle with you. Would’ve taken his time to coax you open, would’ve eased his way into your warmth.
But you hadn’t even considered him as an option and it drove him mad. So he slammed his hips forward and drilled himself deep inside you, thrusting against your tightening walls with a punishing tenacity. When you whined, he silenced you with a devastating kiss, tongue invading you with overwhelming force. You’d remember him next time you were in the mood- that he would make sure of.
He spent the remainder of the night bullying his way through your pussy until you were cum drunk and sky high, shuddering through multiple orgasms, and slurring the words he made you repeat after him, “I promise I will only come on Xavier’s cock… I promise I will only come on Xavier’s cock… I promise…”

Sylus
It was almost like Sylus sent you the photo on purpose.
He was half naked on top of a motorcycle, grease dripping down his toned abs, and smirking like a sinner; what girl wouldn’t come to that?
So when you suddenly found yourself tugging off your soaked panties, and settling into a comfortable position on your bed before beginning to tease circles onto your clit, you felt it was only the most reasonable of ways to respond to his photo. If he didn’t want you to touch yourself, he should’ve been there in person to let you touch him.
Little did you know, he’d come home early, and had begun to watch you from the doorway, eyes alight with both amusement and arousal. He’d intended for the photo to get a reaction out of you, but he hadn’t intended for the reaction to be quite so… primal. He continued to watch intently as you slid your slicked up fingers in and out of you, lust-filled eyes laser-focused on his photo. You imagined his abs were wet because you’d come all over them and it nearly sent your orgasm crashing into you. You bit your lip to stall its arrival, prolong your pleasure for a moment more.
Sylus watched as you sunk your teeth into your plush lips and god did he want to sink his teeth right into them next. But he stayed still, he stayed silent. Waited for the opportune moment to show his hand.
It wasn’t until you moaned, “Fuck- Sylus, I need you,” that he made his entrance, sliding onto the bed beside you. Before you’d even had time to properly be shocked, he was spreading your legs open wider.
“I think you can do better than that, sweetie.” His fingers guided your fingers deeper inside you, slamming up against your sweet spot.
You gasped and dropped your phone in surprise.
He watched as it fell to the floor with a smirk. “Looks like you’ll have to rely on me now.”
He spent the next few, agonizing minutes summoning your release with every deliberate stroke of his fingers, only to let it sink back inside you, before bringing it to your forefront again and repeating the cycle over and over. Tears pricked the corners of your eyes as you throbbed around him, desperate for one, single orgasm.
“Sylus!” You exclaimed in anguish, “Please. Let me come.”
“How badly do you want to come, kitten?” He grinned as he flexed his fingers, flicking them against your eager core once more.
“Badly.” You groaned.
“Ah, so not that bad then,” He smirked.
You attempted to glare at him but he cut you off with a sharp flick of his fingers. You cried out in pleasure and pain. “PLEASE- Sylus, I wanna come so badly. I NEED to come.”
He nuzzled against your ear, nibbling on your earlobe before purring, “So come for me then. Don’t hold back a single sound.”
A spark of heat flashed through you when you heard his words. Your eyelids fluttered shut as you clenched around both of your fingers, dancing on the edge of ecstasy. Then, your orgasm finally found you. You cried out his name as the warmth spread through your veins.
When your eyes eventually blinked open again, you were met with the sight of him licking his fingers clean. His wild eyes held your gaze and he smirked.
“That’s my good girl.”

Rafayel
“You could’ve just told me you missed me, cutie.” Rafayel smirked as he stood with his arms crossed in the doorway.
Just an hour ago, Rafayel had sent you a photo of him shirtless on the beach and now you’d been caught red handed, masturbating to it. Embarrassing. If pressed, you’d argue that it was simply impossible not to touch yourself when faced with such a photo. You’d noticed he’d taken a dip in the ocean just before taking the shot because a tantalizing trail of water was trickling down his abs, and it was enough to get you dripping as well. Honestly, it was a wonder you hadn’t come already with how furiously you’d fingered yourself after receiving his photo. Anyway, he’d come home from his beach trip earlier than you thought and that led to your current predicament.
You bit down on your lip, blushing slightly. “I, uh… I missed you. Help me?”
“Don’t have to ask me twice.”
In an instant, he was spreading your legs apart. You’d assumed he’d take over fingering you and were, instead, pleasantly surprised when his head dipped down to lick a stripe up your glistening folds.
“Raf!” You gasped.
“Sorry… my lips are chapped from all that salt water and I’m just so… thirsty. I was hoping you could give me something to drink, cutie.” He grinned up at you before delving back inside you with his tongue. He wasn’t kidding about being thirsty. You felt him collect every drop of arousal from your quaking walls with each hungry flick of his tongue. You thought he might just drown himself inside you if he continued.
You attempted to pull away slightly, just to allow him air to breathe, to allow him a moment of respite from your suffocating warmth, but he pinned your legs in place before you could get too far.
“You think the God of the Sea is in need of air?” His voice dropped to a low growl. He looked up at you with dark eyes, as though offended at your underestimation of him.
“I think Rafayel is in need of air.”
His eyes softened slightly at your concern. Then his lips curled into a smirk. “Lemurians can survive the darkest depths of the ocean; I’m pretty sure I can survive the depths of my love.” He swirled his tongue around your sensitive bud teasingly. “But the real question is- can you survive me?”
He didn’t need your answer. He already had it the moment he buried his tongue back inside you and you responded with choked whimpers. He reveled in the sounds he drew from your mouth with every drag of his tongue here and there but what he relished even more was the moment you were convulsing against his tongue and coming down his throat. As you shuddered through your release, he thought to himself that he could honestly get drunk on the taste of you. One orgasm wasn’t enough. He’d have you emptying all evidence of your arousal into his mouth until he couldn’t taste anything else, until he’d forgotten the taste of anything else.

Caleb
You had just sent him the most innocent looking photo of you. You were walking in the park, wearing a white sundress, the sunlight had caught your eyes just right, and your hair was blowing in the wind. You couldn’t have looked more perfect.
But you weren’t wearing a bra.
His first instinct was to look away, ashamed. But then he realized you weren’t here to scold him. So he took another peek. His pants quickly tightened around him as his eyes followed the curves of your breast through your nearly-see-through dress. And when his eyes settled on the peaks of your nipples poking through the sheer fabric, he bit down on his lip to keep the precum from trickling down his pants. He stained them anyway. He couldn’t help himself; he was hard as fuck.
You were still strolling through the park; he was sure he had time to relieve himself. So he made his way to the bathroom.
One hand gripped his phone tightly; he didn’t dare to drop it. The other stroked his aching length aggressively. He imagined the way your perky tits would bounce as he drilled himself deeper into you, imagined the way he’d stain your dress with his cum. He was so lost in his thoughts that even after he’d come down the toilet, he didn’t notice that you’d come home and made yourself comfortable in the bedroom. It wasn’t until he opened the bathroom door that he heard just how comfortable you were.
“Caleb!”
At first, he thought you needed him. He quickly rushed to find the source of your voice, worried you were hurt. Then he realized you were in the bedroom with the door slightly ajar, and his footsteps slowed.
There it was again. “Caleb!” You moaned.
His recently emptied erection flickered back to life. He thought you were calling his name because you needed him. He didn’t realize you were calling his name because you… needed him. Well, that was an easy fix.
He slipped through the doorway, ready to be at your service. What he was not ready for was just how debilitating the sight of you touching yourself to him would be. You had a shirtless photo of him propped up in one hand, fingers curled inside you with the other, thrumming at your insides with an ever increasing rhythm. Moments ago, he’d been more than prepared to assist, but now all he could do was stand and stare, mouth slightly agape.
“Caleb!” You exclaimed again. But this time, your voice was tinged with embarrassment instead of pleasure. His eyes found yours and he realized you’d caught him staring.
“Sorry, sorry! Just comin’ in to see if you needed some help.”
Your cheeks burned bright. If you’d had more pride, maybe you would’ve kicked him out. Closed the door in his face, made him promise to forget he ever saw you like this. But you’d been desperately chasing the high that was always just a fingertip out of reach, and you’d begun to get frustrated. “My…” You cleared your throat awkwardly, “My fingers aren’t long enough.”
He took a couple cautious steps towards you. “I…I can help with that.”
You swallowed as he settled onto the bed beside you. Caleb was always helping you. Helping you reach the nice glasses on the top shelf, helping you jumpstart your car when the battery died, helping you set up the wi-fi in your new apartment. You just never imagined he’d be helping you with… this.
You held your breath as he spit on his fingers, and released the breath in a low moan when he slid them inside you. In no time at all, he’d already found the sweet spot you’d been straining to reach.
“Fuuuuck.” You hissed, eyes rolling back as he caressed your wet heat.
He tried to focus on pleasuring you, on lavishing his attention on every spot that made you gasp and groan. But as you grew tighter around his fingers, clenching as the ecstasy built up in your core, he felt his pants grow tighter around him again. He bit down on his lip and tried to ignore his own selfish desires.
“You know…I can help with that.” You murmured, voice seeped in lust, as you laid eyes on the bulge in his pants. Your fingers danced around his belt, waiting for his permission.
He nodded a little too quickly and soon, he was fucking himself into your hand. It almost became competition, the way you’d stroke him faster and he’d finger you deeper.
He wasn’t sure who came first in the end, but he was sure he’d stained your dress. He’d have to buy you a new one. Maybe he’d stain that one too.

Zayne
Zayne cleared his throat from the doorway.
Shit.
“You know…” He stepped closer to your bed, where you’d shrunken under the covers, away from his prying eyes. “When I said physical activity was good for you, I didn’t mean…masturbation.”
You swallowed. “I’m just… blowing off some steam?” You offered weakly.
If he had any witty remarks to make about your current situation, they quickly stuttered to a stop when he realized that you’d been holding a picture of him in your hand (and to his surprise, it was a picture of him fully clothed, in…surgical gear??) while you touched yourself. Crimson seeped into his cheeks and his ears soon followed. He started to talk but when no words came out, he cleared his throat again, sweat rolling down his Adam's apple.
“Would you…like some help with your… activities?”
Your eyes widened. Here he was, avoiding all eye contact with you like it was the plague, and he was offering to help?
He swallowed when you tugged the blanket off of you and spread your legs in response. “I… I’ll take that as a yes?”
“Yes…I… I want you to touch me, Zayne.”
His lips found yours in an instant. At first, his kisses were soft, tender. Then they grew increasingly more passionate as his fingers found their target. He moaned against your lips, heat enveloping him as you clenched around him. He didn’t dare pull away from your lips, partly because he was happy just to be kissing you, and partly because if he pulled away long enough to watch himself fuck you wide open with his fingers, he might just come all over his pants and his dignity.
Somehow, touching you was just as arousing for him as being touched himself. Somehow, every time you squeezed or squirmed, he felt your pleasure as if it was his own. Somehow, every torturous trail that his fingers teased into your walls was a torment to him too. Somehow, he needed your release as badly as you did. He needed you to come all over his fingers. He needed you to cry out his name. He needed you to arch your head back and let him devour the length of your neck as you rode out your orgasm. And he needed it like he needed air.
It was this ravenous tenacity that brought not one but two orgasms flooding through your core in a matter of minutes. Zayne completely missed the first one, still focused on wanting to take care of you, and you were too breathless to tell him you’d already come so he continued vigorously pumping away until you were overwhelmed by your second release of the night. It wasn’t until he began thumbing at your clit that you finally choked out a protest, tears in your eyes.
“Z-Zayne! F-Fuck… I’ve… I’ve already come t-twice… don’t you think you should give me a minute to…to breathe?” You begged in between panted breaths.
His eyes widened. “Twice?”
You let out an exhausted laugh. “So Doctor Zayne can find the g-spot just fine, but he can’t tell when it’s overloaded? A+ for anatomy, Doc, but maybe like a C for observational skills.”
He blinked at you. “You’re giving me a C? I’ve never gotten a C in my entire life.”
“That’s what you’re worried about?” You shook your head, laughing again. “Well, as your professor, I’m afraid I can’t award you anything higher than a C.”
“Surely there’s something I could do to make you… reconsider?” Suddenly Zayne’s slow, agonizing circles resumed on your clit.
You bit back another moan. Oh god, he was at it again.

Forever.”

Zayne Edition | Caleb Edition | Xavier Edition | Sylus Edition | Rafayel Edition
Zayne had promised to meet you at 7 p.m., a rare evening carved out of his relentless schedule. But, as always, the world seemed to conspire against you.
At 6:34 p.m., your phone buzzed.
Zayne: Emergency surgery. I’ll be late. I am sorry.
The message was short and direct, like every other text you’d received when he was busy. Not that you minded, because you knew he would be indulgent when he had the time with his gifs and emoji.
You sighed, staring at the glowing screen. Of course, it wasn’t his fault—his job was important, lives depended on him. You knew that. You always knew that. But knowing didn’t make it hurt any less.
You: How late?
You waited, watching the little "typing…" bubble appear and disappear a few times before his reply came in.
Zayne: I’m not sure.
You: Ill wait for you, Dr. Zayne 😉
The knot in your chest tightened. You tossed your phone onto the coffee table and leaned back against the couch, staring at the clock on the wall. 7:00 p.m. came and went. By 8:30, the sun had dipped below the horizon, painting the room in shades of blue and gray. By 10:00, your patience was fraying.
Your thoughts spiraled. You couldn’t even remember the last time the two of you spent more than a few uninterrupted hours together. If it wasn’t the hospital, it was a conference, or research, or some far-flung medical camp in the middle of nowhere. You understood—he wasn’t just a doctor, he was the doctor, the youngest cardiologist in Linkon City, and his work saved lives. But no amount of understanding could temper the weight of the empty hours that stretched between you tonight. It wasn’t just tonight. This was a pattern, a cycle you’d grown used to but never quite accepted.
But waiting was a lonely affair. Life had been stressful for you, too. Work, finances, personal struggles—everything felt like it was crashing down. And now, the one person you longed to lean on, to feel close to, seemed so far away. Was it selfish to want his presence? To crave a moment of his time? You didn’t know anymore. All you knew was that you missed him. Missed you both.
By midnight, the frustration was a storm you couldn’t contain. You told yourself you’d wait but every tick of the analog clock that Zayne liked was like chalk grating against the blackboard. :00 a.m. The city outside your window was quiet, the only sound the faint hum of passing cars. 1:45 a.m. The words you wanted to say twisted in your chest, growing heavier. 2:23 a.m. The lock turned.
The sound of the lock turning startled you. Zayne stepped inside, his movements deliberate and quiet as he placed his bag down and shrugged off his coat.
“You’re awake…” he said softly, his sharp eyes flicking to you as you sat up on the couch.
“Yeah,” you replied, your voice flat. “I’ve been waiting. I wanted to see you. How was the surgery?”
“It went well,” he said simply. “Complicated, but the patient stabilized.”
“That’s good,” you said, your voice tight. “Have you eaten anything?”
He shook his head. “I grabbed something at the hospital earlier. I’m fine.”
Fine. He always said that. No matter how long the day, no matter how much he’d pushed himself, it was always, I’m fine.
“Zayne…” you began, your tone already edged with the frustration simmering beneath the surface. “You’ve been on your feet for hours. You need to take care of yourself too, you know.”
“I do,” he replied, his tone even, almost dismissive. “We can talk about it tomorrow. You should get some rest.”
And there it was—the spark that lit the fire.
“Rest?” You repeated the word, your voice incredulous. “You think I can just ‘rest’ after sitting here for hours waiting for you? Do you even realize what this feels like, Zayne? It’s like I don’t even exist in your life anymore!”
His brows furrowed at your outburst, a hint of confusion on his face.
“I know your job is important,” you continued, your voice shaking. “I know what you do saves lives, and I’ve tried so hard to be understanding. But do you have any idea what it’s like to feel like you’re always second? To feel like you’re not even a priority?”
“Wait.” he interjected, his tone calm but firm. “I didn’t say you weren’t a priority—”
“No, you didn’t say it,” you interrupted, your anger flaring hotter now. “But it feels that way, Zayne. Every time you miss a dinner, every time you come home at some ungodly hour, it feels like I’m just… here. Waiting. Always waiting. Do you even realize how long it’s been since we’ve had a real conversation? Since we’ve actually spent time together?”
His brows furrowed deeper. “You know my job doesn’t exactly allow for flexibility.”
“Your job,” you spat, the words laced with bitterness. “It’s always about your job. And I get it, okay? I do. You’re saving lives, and that’s incredible. But when was the last time you asked about mine?”
He opened his mouth to respond, but you didn’t give him the chance. The words poured out, sharp and unrelenting.
“Do you have any idea how lonely it’s been? I’m not even sure I’m a part of your life anymore!”
The moment the words left your mouth, you saw the shock flicker across his face. His usually stoic expression cracked, his eyes widening in disbelief.
Your heart thudded painfully as the weight of what you’d said sank in. “Zayne, I—” Your voice faltered, tears welling up. “I didn’t mean that. I swear I didn’t mean that.”
He didn’t say anything, just stood there, his silence somehow heavier than any words he could’ve spoken.
The room fell silent except for the quiet hitch of your breath. You pressed your palms to your eyes, trying to stem the tears, but they came anyway, hot and unstoppable.
Your chest tightened as the tears spilled over. “I’m sorry…” you choked out, the apology tumbling from your lips. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean it. I just… I don’t know. Everything’s been so overwhelming, and I didn’t mean to take it out on you. I know how much your work means to you, I really do. I’m just… I’m tired, Zayne.”
ZAYNE’S POV
Her words hung in the air, each one slicing deeper than the last. I’m not even sure I’m a part of your life anymore.
Was that really how she felt? Had he really been so consumed by his work that he’d made her feel this way?
He swallowed hard, guilt tightening in his chest. Of course, she was right. He’d assumed her silence meant she understood, that she was okay with the late nights and missed dates. But now, looking at her, he realized just how deeply he’d been wrong.
And then came her tears.
He’d seen people cry before—patients, families, even his colleagues. But her tears were different. They weren’t just borne of hurt; they carried guilt, love, and something raw and unfiltered. She wasn’t angry at him. She was hurting for him, even as she blamed herself. “I’m not making excuses. I just... I’ve been trying to be strong for so long, trying to understand, but tonight... I just felt... alone. I didn’t mean it. I swear. You don’t deserve to hear that from me. I love you so much, and I feel terrible for even saying something so awful.”
The anger in her voice born from exhaustion, frustration, a sense of abandonment, had shocked him, yes. But now, as her words turned to apologies, all he could see was how deeply she cared for him. Through the raw tears, through the pain and self-accusation in her voice, all he could see was how much she loved him. It was clear as day, even when she couldn’t bring herself to look at him, even as she buried her face in her hands.
Her words tumbled out in a rush, desperate, as though she needed to undo everything with an apology. She wasn’t angry anymore, no. She was so sorry, and it hurt him more than anything else could. He felt his heart crack, the guilt swirling like a blizzard, and without thinking, he moved toward her, instinct pulling him into action.
“Don’t cry...” he murmured, stepping closer. His voice was softer now, tinged with something almost fragile.
“I’m sorry,” she choked out, her words tumbling over each other. “I didn’t mean it, Zayne. I swear, I didn’t mean it. I just—tonight was hard, and I—”
“Stop.” His hands came up to gently frame her face, his thumbs brushing away the tears that refused to stop. “You don’t have to apologize.” The way her shoulders shook with each sob, the desperation in her voice—it all spoke of someone who loved so fiercely that even the slightest hint of causing harm to the one she loved shattered her entirely.
“But I do,” she insisted, her voice cracking. “I was upset, but that doesn’t make it okay for me to say something like that to you. You didn’t deserve it. I’m so sorry, Zayne. I didn’t mean it. I swear, I didn’t mean it. I’m just… so tired, and everything feels so heavy. I know how much your work means to you. I know it’s important, but… but I said those things, and that’s not okay.”
Her voice cracked on the last word, and it cut through him like a scalpel. The rawness of her pain, the way her hands shook as she tried to wipe away her tears—it gutted him. He stepped closer and gently took her hands, stilling their movement. “Stop,” he murmured, his voice low and steady. “Please, stop apologizing.”
But she didn’t. She kept going, as if she needed him to hear every ounce of her sorrow, every misplaced thought born from exhaustion and frustration. “Just because I’m in a bad place doesn’t mean I can take it out on you. It doesn’t make it okay to hurt you. I’m so, so sorry—”
“Enough,” Zayne said, firmer this time, his hands tightening around hers. He closed the distance between them, his forehead resting against hers. His eyes searched hers, even as his own unshed tears blurred his vision. “I hear you. And I forgive you. You don’t need to say another word. You are important to me. Do you hear me? You always have been.”
He pulled her into his arms, and for a moment, the world outside disappeared. The tension in her body melted into his embrace as he cradled her close. He felt her sobs against his chest, the dampness of her tears seeping through his shirt, and his heart ached in a way that no medical textbook could ever describe. It was a mix of regret, love, and an overwhelming need to protect the person in his arms.
When he tilted her face up to his, his thumb brushing tenderly over her cheek to catch the fresh tears, his lips found hers in a kiss that spoke the words he couldn’t say. It wasn’t rushed or hurried, but deep and deliberate—a melding of emotions. He tasted the salt of her tears, felt the softness of her lips trembling against his. His hand cupped the back of her head, holding her there as if letting go might shatter everything. It wasn’t about passion, not this time. It was a deep, desperate need to remind her, remind himself, that she was still here. That no matter how far he had drifted, they were still together.
This is how much she loves me, Zayne thought, as her lips pressed harder against his, the urgency building. This is how much she needs me. Even when she’s hurting, even when she’s angry, she still reaches for me, still tries to make things right.
In that moment, everything was stripped bare. There were no walls, no facades. Just him and her. His kiss was a vow, an apology, and a promise all at once. When he finally pulled back, his lips still ghosting over hers, he murmured, “I’ve been a fool. I am sorry too. I should have been here, with you. I should have made time for you.”
Her eyes widened slightly, confusion flickering through the tears. “Zayne—”
“All these days, I thought I was going home after work,” he continued, his voice low and weighted with emotion. “But it wasn’t home. It was just a house. This… this is home. You’re my home.”
The words hung in the air between them, raw and unfiltered. He pressed another kiss to her forehead, his hands still framing her face. “I’m taking the weekend off. No conferences, no surgeries, no calls. Just us.”
A small, shaky laugh escaped her. “You mean it?”
“I do,” he said, his lips curving into the faintest of smiles. “Even if I have to tie myself to this couch to prove it.”
She chuckled softly, and he felt the tension in her body begin to ease.
“I miss you,” he said finally, his voice breaking the stillness. “I miss us. And I’m sorry I made you feel like you weren’t important. You are. You’re everything.” And that was the truth. All that mattered now was her. She was his home, his heart, his everything. And he would make sure she knew that every single day.
A soft sigh of relief escaped her, and she relaxed into him, the tension in her body finally easing. And Zayne, for the first time in a long while, allowed himself to rest. He closed his eyes, listening to her heartbeat against his chest, and he knew that no matter what else life brought him, this was all he needed. This was home.
And he was never going to let her feel unimportant again.

Silk, Satin and Sensual
Premise: Headcanons on his preferences for lingerie and his reaction when he sees you in them. Based on this request. Pairing: Reader x Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, Sylus (Seperate) [Caleb version will come out after his release] Note: Reader and the men are in a relationship. This is suggestive. Please do not interact if you are a minor. Caleb version will come out after his release when I know more about his personality. If you wanted to be added to my taglist, please DM, ask or comment :D Content warning: Suggestive. MNDI.
XAVIER
Xavier has a thing for soft, celestial tones like white, cream, silvers and muted golds. He’s drawn to fabrics that shimmer faintly, almost like starlight against your skin. He has a thing for delicate patterns, like lacework.
Sheer materials like mesh and chiffon drive him wild, especially if they reveal just enough to leave him craving more. He prefers the balance of teasing and revealing, where the fabric hints at your curves without fully exposing them.
He’s absolutely obsessed with your thighs and prefers lingerie that accentuates them. Garter belts, thigh-high stockings, and intricate lace shorts are his kryptonite.
If you have small celestial accents like tiny golden stars or moon charms hanging from the garters… good fucking luck. You are not walking the next day.
He has an unapologetic habit of tearing your lingerie when he loses control, so he’s constantly replacing your wardrobe. His explanation? “It’s not my fault they’re made so fragile. I’ll get you something sturdier—next time.”
Once the damage is done and your new lingerie is in shreds, Xavier looks annoyingly unbothered. He’ll casually toss the ruined piece aside and murmur, “Guess I’ll have to buy you another.”
He’ll commission a lingerie set made of delicate ivory lace with gold threads woven into it, shaped to mimic constellations. He’ll surprise you with thigh-high stockings that have faint, shimmering patterns running up the sides. These are always paired with garter belts because he loves tugging on them when he is intimate with you.
He’ll leave the box on your bed, wrapped in soft cream paper with a gold ribbon. Inside, there’s always a handwritten note in his steady handwriting. “For you. You’re too beautiful not to be dressed like the stars themselves.”
His reactions:
The moment he sees you in lingerie, his carefully composed demeanor melts away, replaced by an intense, almost predatory focus. His eyes lock onto your thighs, and his voice becomes a low murmur laced with want. He is the definition of: his eyes darkened.
Xavier likes the idea that these pieces are chosen specifically for his eyes. If anyone else saw you in them, even accidentally, it would ignite a streak of jealousy.
If you walk past him too many times, deliberately flaunting the look, he’ll finally snap. One moment, you’re teasing him; the next, you’re backed against the wall with his hands tracing the garter straps. “Do you want me to tear this off?” he’ll ask, his voice soft but carrying that dangerous edge. Spoiler: He’s already decided the answer.
ZAYNE
Zayne prefers earthy tones—rich browns, deep greens, warm ambers, and muted burgundies. These hues remind him of natural beauty, grounding yet alluring. He loves subtle details like lace trim, delicate straps that crisscross your back, or a ribbon that ties just above your hips—small elements that add to the allure.
Zayne is drawn to pieces that accentuate your waist. Corset-style lingerie, high-waisted panties, or teddies with cinched designs are his favorites. He admires the way they create an hourglass effect, appreciating your silhouette.
He has a thing for materials that feel good to the touch: silky satins, fine lace, and soft mesh. The tactile experience is as important to him as the visual.
Zayne has impeccable taste, selecting pieces that balance seduction with sophistication. Think satin teddies with plunging necklines or lace bodysuits with subtle, sheer paneling. He gravitates toward lingerie sets that emphasize your natural beauty rather than overwhelming it—clean lines, elegant accents, and designs that celebrate your form.
When Zayne gifts you lingerie, he makes it an intimate experience. He’ll lay the gift on the bed, wrapped in tissue paper with a single dried flower, something earthy and subtle, like a sprig of lavender or rosemary. His note is direct: “For when you’re ready to let me admire you properly.”
Zayne picks quality over quantity. He’d rather gift you one stunning, well-made piece than several forgettable ones. His selections are designed to last—not that he always gives them the chance to.
His gaze never wavers. When you wear lingerie, Zayne’s eyes lock on yours before slowly traveling down your body, making you feel like the most captivating thing in the world.
There’s no ripping it off, but it won’t take long before he’s slipping the fabric off. He’s not gentle, but he’s not reckless either. There’s a certain hunger in how he undresses you.
His Reaction:
When you walk into the room wearing one of his carefully chosen pieces, Zayne’s reaction is immediate. His calm is replaced by a sharp intake of breath, his eyes trailing over you with an intensity that makes the air feel heavier.
Zayne’s fingers brush over the fabric with deliberate slowness, his palms lingering against the soft satin at your hips. “Feels even better than I imagined,” he murmurs, his lips quirking into a heated smirk. “But I think it’d feel better on the floor.”
If you tease him, letting a strap fall off your shoulder or adjusting the lace just so—Zayne’s control begins to crack. His hands are on you instantly, his voice dropping to a growl. “You like testing me, don’t you? Keep it up, and you’ll see what happens.”
RAFAYEL
Rafayel is drawn to soft, pastel shade like gentle blues, lavender, and delicate purples. He prefers lingerie that’s sweet and soft, evoking a sense of innocence while still being sensual.
He gravitates towards cuter lingerie like bralette sets with flowing chiffon accents, babydolls with sheer overlays, or high-waisted lingerie shorts. He likes pieces that don’t reveal too much but are so alluring that he cannot keep his eyes off you.
Rafayel is obsessed with fine details such as silver waistbands that drape lightly like jewelry, chokers that gleam with tiny pearls, delicate chain straps on your bra, tiny dangling gemstones, or trims that sparkle subtly in the light.
Sheer robes, flowing fabrics, and fluttering hems draw his gaze as they cling to your skin over your lingerie like water waves. If you are wearing a lingerie, fresh out of the shower with your hair still wet, it is game over for this man.
Rafayel treats every moment with you in lingerie as sacred. He doesn’t rush; instead, he takes his time, savoring every detail like an artist admiring their finest work
Rafayel is the kind of person who doesn’t just buy off the shelf. He’ll have something specially commissioned for you, likely a set of lingerie that reflects your personality and his artistic sensibilities. His commission might even include small charms that are Lemuria inspired.
Rafayel, though loving, is bashful when it comes to gifting lingerie. He would likely have the lingerie sent to you without a grand reveal, perhaps bundled with other gifts like chocolates, perfume, scarves that might distract from his true intentions. His note will be brief, almost casual: “Some pieces I thought you'd appreciate, seeing as you're always so fashionable.”
His Reaction:
The first time you step out wearing one of his custom sets, a soft lavender bralette with delicate gold chain accents and a matching choker—Rafayel freezes. Rafayel can’t stop staring, though he tries to look away, his hand rising to cover his mouth as his blush deepens. “I-I didn’t think it would suit you this perfectly…” he stammers, his gaze flicking back to you despite himself.
“I… I didn’t mean for it to be so… um… revealing,” he stammers, eyes lingering on the intricate lace and the subtle gleam of the small jewels. “But… you look… divine.” When Rafayel touches the fabric, his fingers tremble against your skin. He’s so gentle, almost reverently so, as though touching you in this way is an act of worship.
"It’s like you’re wearing my art… and I can’t stop admiring it." His gaze will flicker between your face and the lingerie, doing his best to hold himself together. “Why are you doing this to me?” he’ll murmur with desire. “I just want to keep you here... like this... for as long as possible.” he whispers, voice barely audible, as though if he spoke louder, he might break the spell.
SYLUS
Sylus gravitates toward bold, classic colors like deep blacks, rich reds, and occasionally luxurious whites, midnight blues or dark emerald greens. These colors resonate with him. He appreciates the elegance of these shades, as they exude sophistication and bold sensuality.
He’s a silk and satin man through and through. These fabrics are smooth, luxurious, and irresistible to his touch. He loves how they glide over your skin and how they feel beneath his fingertips.
He loves classic, timeless lingerie: lacy bras with garter belts, high-cut panties that highlight your legs, and elegant teddies that hug every curve. Think luxury brands and couture pieces that scream sensuality.
Occasionally, Sylus surprises you with bolder, risqué styles: Cage-style bras with open backs, strappy bodysuits that playfully expose just enough skin, lingerie with sheer panels, leaving little to the imagination.
He doesn’t tear or rush; instead, he carefully folds each piece, placing it aside after everything is said and done. “I’ll want to see this on you again.” he explains with a sly smirk
Sylus doesn’t stop at gifting you a single set. Every outfit in your closet has a matching pair of lingerie. You’ll find lingerie for every occasion. Sylus alwayssurprise you with a box containing lingerie hidden among other extravagant gifts—fine jewelry, luxurious robes, or even a custom-made vanity to store your collection: “Maybe my luck is not be so bad if I am the only man who gets to see you in these, sweetie.”
For Sylus, lingerie isn’t just for the bedroom. He loves seeing you lounge in one of his tailored sets, reclining on his sofa as you read or listen to music together. Sylus is content to let his hands roam over the satin, enjoying the feel of it warmed by your skin. “Stay like this,” he’ll say softly, his voice a mix of command and yearning. “I want to keep you close.”
True to his nature, Sylus has a habit of keeping little trophies. He has a drawer in one of his private residences dedicated to these keepsakes as a reminder of your shared moments. If you ever catch him in the act of placing something there, he’ll simply shrug with a sly grin. “Can you blame me? I keep what’s mine.”
His Reaction:
When you step into the room wearing something he’s chosen for you, Sylus’ composed exterior falters, just slightly. His gaze darkens, and his lips curl into a small, satisfied smirk. He’ll take a slow step toward you, one hand tucked casually in his pocket, the other reaching out to trail a finger down the silk, letting it rest against your hip.
Without hesitation, he’ll scoop you into his arms, carrying you effortlessly to where he wants you—be it the bedroom, his grand leather chair in the study, or even the chaise lounge in front of the fireplace. “I’m not letting you out of my sight when you like this.”
Sylus never tears your lingerie—he unwraps you like the most precious gift, his hands moving with reverent care. “You deserve to be savored, not rushed.” he whispers, his gaze locked on you. He’ll seat you on his lap or lay you down, his fingers tracing slow, deliberate movements along the fabric. The lingerie is not just for his pleasure, it is for yours as well.
