Summary: Geralt thought everything was good, that his partners were happy, but one day he came home and found Dettlaff missing. Of course, he and Regis were worried, feared Dettlaff got himself in trouble, no matter what the letter he had left stated. So they started asking around.

Instead of their missing lover Geralt discovered a bakery and Regis was reunited with an old friend.

Meanwhile Dettlaff had met Lambert, who wouldn't leave him alone until he told him what was wrong and to make everything worse a strange man interrupted their conversation to offer a deal.

Summary: Rewrite of Blood and wine ending.

The reality of the situation that Geralt had found himself in was dire. He was at his wits' end of him, as the vampire Dettlaff, the Beast of Beauclair, finally made good on his threat of him to send his forces down upon the jewel of the Duchy. He knew that the carnage that was being wrought, at least at the moment, was a warning shot. The vampires had caused enough trouble to make the streets chaotic, but most waited in the wings. Most, meaning there were hundreds more vampires laying in wait to lay waste to the city. The ideal option should have been to take Syanna, the deposed princess to meet with Dettlaff as asked. It was surely a simple ask, one which any sane person would have agreed to, But the Duchess Anna Henrietta had made it abundantly clear that Syanna was to remain hidden, imprisoned, inaccessible,

It ate away at Geralt, growing stronger every day when Regis brushed past him, or pressed a soft kiss to his hair, or fucked him with equal tenderness, until it was a fire burning in the pit of his stomach.

So happy to finally post this! This was a collaboration with the wonderful @sternenstaub28 for the Blood and Wine Big Bang event. Stern wrote a fantastic story about Geralt, the feared result of cruel and horrifying experiments, being shown gentleness for the first time under the care of Regis.
