My WrestleMania 37 (2021) Review

Day 1:

WWE Title Match - Drew McIntyre vs Bobby Lashley

Drew has thrived during the globalists’ so called “pandemic” and has been coming into his own since his wonderful blood feud with Sheamus. Bobby Lashley is lucky to be in a championship match. Lashley is such an overrated wrestler and a disgrace of a champion. Drew looked great, but the result sucked. How do these two brainless oafs in Lashley & MVP keep getting away with cheating?!

Women's Tag Team Title #1 Contendership Tag Team Turmoil Match

This is wrestling. Everyone in this match had a great story and I was rooting for mostly all the teams. Great story.

Singles Match - Cesaro vs Seth Rollins

Meh. Two boring guys. Cesaro was funny when he said the thing about swinging. Also, the swing move is cool and I'm not bored of it. Boring rest of the match, though.

WWE RAW Tag Team Title Match - The New Day vs AJ Styles & Omos

Omos is really scary. New Day still sucks. AJ Styles is boring and can't wrestle, but boy oh boy is Omos scary. Great ending to boot!

Steel Cage Match - Shane McMahon vs Braun Strowman

This has WrestleMania moment written all over it! Braun is amazing and he taught us a great lesson in this match. The story was great. The match was great. The ripping spot was unforgettable! I couldn't ask for anymore!

Celebrity Tag Team Match - Miz & Morrison vs Bad Bunny & Damian Priest

Why did this even take place?! Who even wanted to see this beforehand? Because I know NO ONE liked it afterward. I hate these types of matches where great guys like Miz & Morrison get embarrassed and some nobody who can't sell tickets looks like a star. I hope something like this NEVER happens again!

WWE SmackDown Women's Title Match - Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair

Two overrated spot monkeys. Neither of them deserves to have a match at WrestleMania, let alone for the title, LET ALONE the main event of night 1. In a better parallel universe, this would have been Alexa Bliss vs Lacey Evans. Unfortunately we were stuck with this crap.

Day 2:

Singles Match - Randy Orton vs The Fiend (with Alexa Bliss)

This is what WrestleMania is all about! A match that could/should have been a "main event". This match had an incredible story in the lead up and didn't disappoint! Clear, precise storytelling during the match and the ending was what everyone wanted and MORE! Loved every second on this!

WWE Women's Tag Team Title Match - Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler vs Natalya & Tamina

Tag team wrestling perfected! Everyone was invested into this match in the lead up. This match also made rising stars out of Tamina and Shayna. Great conclusion to a great tag team story in the WWE.

Singles Match - Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn

I was really excited for this match due to the story and Logan Paul's involvement, but the match let me down BIG TIME. While Owens & Zayn have had many matches in the past, this one wasn't their best nor was it good on its own. Could have done without this match.

WWE United States Title Match - Riddle vs Sheamus

I'm not a big fan of Riddle anymore, but Sheamus took this match and made it watchable. Sheamus is the RIGHT type of evolution of a wrestler, akin to John Cena. Sheamus did an incredible job in this match, as he always does, and was rewarded with the deserving win. Brava Sheamus.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match - Big E vs Apollo Crews

I knew what to expect when they said this was a Nigerian Drum. It was crap, just like the country of Africa, but the end was AWESOME. Big E got what he deserved and the African warlord Apollo was aided by an African refugee. Sweet ending to a lame match!

WWE RAW Women's Title Match - Asuka vs Rhea Ripley

Rhea deserves to be in this match. She’s worked so hard just to get this rare opportunity. Her entrance live performers were a beautiful accompaniment with her walk to the ring, mirroring the tumultuous journey to this peak of her career. I couldn’t wait to see Asuka get her teeth kicked in again! Great match. Perfect crowning of a deserving champion. It isn't said enough: Rhea Ripley delivers BRUTALITY!

WWE Universal Title Triple Threat Match - Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan vs Edge

I hate this new Roman Reigns and I hated this match. Edge deserved better.

Final Thoughts:

The first night wasn’t great, but it had a few gems. The second night was significantly better, but had a few stinkers. WWE messed up with the “main events” and the wrong messages were sent. But at least some good things came from the Show of Shows. No where near the best WrestleMania, but not the worst either. Now that the world is done pretending there is a “contagious virus”, it was a great way to restart wrestling the right way.

My WWE SuperShowdown 2018 Review

The Card:

Universal Title Match - Seth Rollins vs Baron Corbin

I honest don’t care about either one. Seth is overrated and Baron is cool character, but a boring guy irl. I was waiting for Brock to come the whole time that they FLUFFED the cash in?! No thank you. Next!

Intercontinental Title Match - Finn Balor vs Andrade

Again, I DON’T CARE ABOUT THESE TWO!!! The demon is cool, but Finn Balor (Fergal Devitt) isn’t! Also he was very disrespectful to the gracious country of Agraba before this wondrous event. This was a boring match with two overrated wrestlers. What have they even done to deserve to be here? Andrade needs to learn English and stop doing the stupid KNEES thing. So stupid. I don’t even know what Andrade’s skillset is because he shows no talent. This match is something the we could have seen on SmackDown Live any other night. No, I say! No!

Roman Reigns vs Shane McMahon (& Drew McIntyre)

I couldn’t wait for Roman’s ass to be handed to him. I didn’t like the energy they let Reigns have, but in the end Drew did what we all were wanting; he kicked Roman with the Claymore while the referee was distracted. Well done.

Lars Sullivan vs Lucha House Party

Lars should have squashed these clowns. The match itself was confusing. I don’t understand what happened, but at least Lars stayed looking strong and got the victory. Go, Lars, go!

Randy Orton vs Triple H

This was a battle between two living legends in their near primes. Neither seemed to have lost a step. The Viper vs the Cerebral Assassin was my personal favorite match tonight. Nothing could top this match for me. No words needed. More of this, please!

Bobby Lashley vs Braun Strowman

This was a sensational match. An animal in Bobby Lashley with a great physique and the future face of WWE in Braun Strowman. Great job by both guys. Another gem from this event.

WWE Title Match - Kofi vs Dolph Ziggler

When life hands Dolph Ziggler lemons, he makes lemonade. He also looked great. Dolph has carried this feud. He did great work tonight throughout the match. Kofi did very little in the wrestling department, as usual. Xavier Woods was Kofi’s crony and they cheated to have Dolph lose. Stupid and unoriginal, but predictable. Dolph continues saving this feud as he put on an expertly executed promo to get a rematch. Ziggler is such a great HEEL. Hopefully they will do his great work justice and Dolph wins the title from this clown Kofi and his posse.

Battle Royal

This was an even bigger battle royale, if you can believe that. It was very cool that a local guy won. The crowd was electric the entire event, but when he won the surge turned into a sonic boom. Very cool. I cannot wait to see him every week from now on.

Main Event - Goldberg vs The Undertaker

The legend Undertaker fought this old guy from WCW. The old guy couldn’t even pick up ‘Taker. So the Undertaker carried this match and put the bleeding old man down. Great to see the legend Undertaker in the ring again. I hope he shows up at SummerSlam and WreslteMania. I can’t get enough of watching his matches. Triple H vs Undertaker again anyone? Just more Undertaker matches!

Final thoughts: 

As per usual with WWE, the production was immaculate, the matches were well thought out, and the crowd was electric. For an event that had 0 women wrestling (I think Saudi has a law that prevents women from physically or figuratively touching other women under any circumstances), this was near perfect. I hope that piss-ant company took notes because this is how you do an event. WWE Super Showdown 2019 felt like those epic WrestleManias and had moments no wrestling fan will ever forget. I loved the whole experience! I can’t wait for another two!
