The card game… in all its intensity, the whirlwind of an experience, as far as Digimon went, he still loved the card game. It was fun for him, always, even when he lost. And… well, he kind of lost a lot. Juri was much newer to the game than him, though. Still, he wouldn’t necessarily go easy on her — that would be disrespectful.

“Okay, yeah, let’s play!” A grin from ear to ear.

Juri may be different from him, but hopefully, they’d both have a good time.

There were plenty of people around, but the green haired boy was clearly looking for someone specific. Eyes darted all over the place, left, then right, he was turning every which way. A heavy sigh finally escaped his mouth.

“Probably not here yet…” He muttered, shaking his head. His eyes then fell on the stranger. He approached cautiously, but with a smile on his face nonetheless. “Are you a trainer? I’m waiting for someone, but they’re late, and I might even be a bit early.”

A pause. “I’ve got some time to kill. We could, um… train? If you’re not too busy.”

“Y-yes?” A hurried voice called, soon revealing its source as a white-haired boy with light blue eyes. The interior surrounding him was a little dusty in some spots— an attempt to keep it clean had been made, clearly, but there were places that had been missed.

“Um, what are you two looking for?” Astre tilted his head slightly, “We’ve got vintage records in the back, if that’s what you need. Or…” He furrowed his brow, as if he was trying to figure out something about the two in front of him.

Finally, he relaxed, heaving a sigh.

“Well, if it’s something specific, and you’re not finding it I can take a look in back for you.”

Sorry I’ve been dead school is. Well it’s about what I expected it’s kind of kicking my ass. Anyway I’m adding some additional muses soon, including some returning characters that people might remember from me (I’ll give you a hint on one: I originally made this blog for him, though the url was different!)

In addition to that, I’ll be posting a starter call soon and I’ll be getting those out ASAP. Look forward to it!

A signing event… Oh god, he was SO excited. Felix absolutely couldn’t wait to get his CD signed. To begin with, it was a special edition CD, you had to line up for hours in order to get it… But getting it signed? Personally??? He was hyped.

The problem, of course, was that no one was to know he was a fan — let alone a super fan — of Marinette. It wasn’t likely anyone would make fun of him… but he was a pretty private person, and to be honest, the thought of anyone finding out filled him with dread. Ergo, a disguise was in order.

Sunglasses and a mask were probably enough, but he wore a hoodie too. These kinds of people were common enough at fan events — it wasn’t exactly uncommon to be a closet fan — but still, he was mildly anxious about the whole ordeal. Mostly, though, the nerves were about meeting with her.

And suddenly, it was his turn. Bashfully, he pushed his CD toward her.

“Do you mind signing this…?” Spoken rather quickly.

“Okay.” Yuu nods, trying to focus in on the music — aaaand they’re starting over, okay.

It’s good music, he’s right, but Yuu is getting a little bit frustrated. Still, he listens in, focusing on the music. And then they’re starting again. A little annoying, but the song being repeated hasn’t lost it’s charm at all. “Mm, I can hear the strings now.” Barely above a whisper, so the song isn’t too interrupted again.

“Plus, these lyrics — they have almost a playful quality to them. Like, it’s commentary on life, but also, it’s— it’s fun, despite the bleakness.” At this point, even were the song to restart again, he’d keep listening. He likes it, after all.

"Nonononono, I need you to listen closer. I know it sounds like just a song at first, but I swear if you pay attention to the lyrics and the different elements at play in the music- did you catch that? In the bass?- I'm starting the song over."

He does so almost frantically, a wild excitement in his eyes.

"I'm gonna try to shut up this time, but- wait. String section. Did you hear that? It's recorded so quietly, and with the brass you barely notice unless it's loud... I'm starting it over again."

🎤 - Can your muse sing well? Do they sing often? If they were to stand up in front of a crowd, would they be able to sing in front of all of those people?

Yuu Amano can sing, and pretty well. He has an almost professional like voice, partially because he took lessons in music as a younger kid. But he tends to only really do so in private. He’s the kind of person who would sing a lullaby to a beloved friend or family member. He’ll also sing to himself. He would not sing in front of a crowd, although he probably could, if it became vitally necessary for some reason. It’s not something he really wants to do, though, unlike his sister.

Once again, Felix was out of the castle. A well-kept secret, that was known by a very select few: not even his family, generally, knew where he was; just that he was out of the castle for some reason. To be fair, he would go in disguise— a cloak, something to cover his face, and commoner’s clothes. Though he looked much more put together than most commoners, still, he had yet to rouse suspicion and it had been a while since he’d started doing this.

So, of course, it was an odd time to bump into someone he was familiar with from the castle grounds.

Would she recognize his voice? How he carried himself? He hoped not, he really hoped not. It was, after all, a secret— and he intended to keep it that way.

He pulled her out of sight, an impulse decision driven by nerves. He’d tell her. And make sure she’d never share— perhaps a threat or two would do the trick. Either way, it was clearly a mistake as soon as he’d done it.

“Err, my apologies.” was all that escaped his mouth.

this beautiful, wonderful boy is my fiance's cat, Finnian. she's raised him from a baby, and until recently, he was a healthy 9 year old kitty.

unfortunately, as you can see, his health has gone down hill. he requires hospitalization, and very expensive medication to get him back to the same beautiful, wonderfully energetic boy that he once was.

💤 - How does your muse sleep? Are they a light sleeper, or are they out the moment their head hits the pillow? Do they nap? Do they struggle to sleep due to things like insomnia, or nightmares? (for hunter, or whoever else you're feeling at the moment tbh!)

Hunter’s sleep is… pretty bad. She generally sleeps light, and often gets nightmares when she does (rarely) get deeper sleep. It’s gotten better the older she’s gotten, now that she’s out of Belos’s clutches, but it’s still not great. She tries to nap a decent amount, partly to catch up on sleep and partly because her sleep schedule is just so irregular.

She also tends to deal with racing thoughts during the night, so getting to sleep itself is pretty difficult. Most of her sleep-related issues are trauma based.
