Weirdo4weirdo bingqiu fic recs

Hello everyone welcome to my fic recs of bingqiu being weird and obsessed with each other. None of these are going to be dead dove territory at all but as always make sure to check the tags on all of these before proceeding.

Pretty much all of these are going to be light hearted fics and also mostly E rated bc thats just how I live my life

Until, while traveling with an incapacitated Shen Qingqiu, they’re attacked by creatures he’s never seen before and he has to click the yes button in order to not get them both killed. Unfortunately, Shen Qingqiu may kill him anyway if they can’t figure out a way back.

Follow our intrepid heroes as they try their best to make their way in the modern world (again), not kill each other, and get back to the world of PIDW before they’re kicked out of their shitty apartment or die of scurvy from eating too many ramen noodles.”

This is the bingqiu being obsessed with each other fic for me, also featuring moshang and implied cumplane. Im also a sucker for reverse transmigrator plots.

Summary: “Demonic Emperor Luo Binghe's reputation precedes him. It's just not very accurate.”

A lord of a far off territory assuming binghe has a harem leads to Bingqiu being weird for each other and doing sexual role-play about it for 13k words what else do you need. X_los really just knows how to write bingqiu in a way I really love.

Shen Qingqiu wishes Luo Binghe wouldn’t consider all of the new possibilities to be good things, if only so that he never has to read about them in a future Chunshan volume.”

I mean this is exactly what you think it is except lots of thinking about all the things tiny binghe wants to do and not actually doing them. I just love how especially pitiful and wronged binghe gets to be.

Summary: “Shen Qingqiu rarely has a quiet moment when he and Luo Binghe are at Qing Jing Peak. If it's not Liu Qingge coming to challenge Luo Binghe to yet another duel, it's something else. This time Ning Yingying's arrival with a letter seeking aid for the brides of Golden Flower Valley comes as a relief. A mysterious creature is preying on new brides. She's alive and well when she goes to sleep, and the next morning her new husband awakes to find she's become a desiccated corpse during the night. Shen Qingqiu suspects they'll need to go undercover as a bride and groom to solve the case - but do they really have to consummate their wedding again?”

Bingqiu getting to do their wedding again? Sqq coming up with convoluted reasons to do so? Bingqiu having weird but good sex? Yes yes and yes

Summary: “Due to unexpected circumstances (that was airplane Bro's fault), Shen Qingqiu finds out that Binghe has been faking all his orgasms. Naturally this travesty needs to be rectified.”

Absolutely such a juicy concept and they deliver on it. The way sqq chooses to go about this made me actually laugh out loud. May give you second hand embarrassment.

I dont want to spoil too much about this one but its bingpup and sqq being sappy about missing his husband

Summary: “Luo Binghe must spend some time away from his beloved husband - he takes it hard, but it seems as if he may not be the one who takes it the hardest. But, of course, the best part of being apart is when they can come back together.”

Sqq misses bing bing alot and then they have sex about it and its a thrallax fic so you know its good.

Luo Binghe shakes his head, but then pauses. His eyes go wide and liquid and despite being the taller of the two, he somehow manages to look up at Shen Qingqiu through his lashes. "Only—let me. You can let me serve you."

Summary: “It is a truth universally acknowledged that a stallion protagonist must be in want of a horse girl.”

Hetswap bingqiu with fem!sqq and male binghe. Truly one of my favorite bingqiu fics of all time. Hits all the things I like and the characterization of binghe and sqq is amazing. Content warning for implied wanted female pregnancy at the end of the fic.

Summary: “Shen Qingqiu had been under the impression that finally inviting Luo Binghe to share his chambers in the Underground Palace would afford the two of them more time to adjust to one another in their familiar but altered form.

The majority of his expectations are even safe for all age groups. A lot of sitting thigh to thigh in afternoon sunlight, becoming comfortable in each other's presence again while little dust motes float about. Maybe some salacious bathing or partial nudity. A few spontaneous bouts of guiding Luo Binghe in how to kiss with less bite. Perhaps while a particularly musical bird chirps nearby.

Binghe smells nice and his lips are unfairly soft. Shen Qingqiu can’t be blamed for these thoughts.”

Sqq basically begging for more physical affection from binghe and binghe being delighted about it. I love it when fics have sqq having different expectations for couple affection with his modern times standards. They’re so so obsessed with each other

i sort by highest kudos and click my way down the list until i feel done. i don't click on anything that's less than 1k words per chapter, though, and i mostly stick to complete fics (unless desperate).

Another AO3 thing I’m curious about, how do yall decide if something is good enough to read? Usually I follow a rule of 1 kudos for every 10 hits. One because it’s easy math and two it’s yet to fail me. Thoughts? Do you just go for it and pray it’s good?
