My Goddes is elusive; Her subtlety abounds. Only because She has no need for recognition am I able to recognize Her. Only because She makes no attempt at perfection can Her perfection be understood.
She sets the world in motion and gives us the nourishment to go on. The world is a vessel of Her love, flowing naturally from end to end. She gives Herself without hesitation, turns none away, and overwhelms the world with Her abundance.
Like the flow of water,聽 She seeks the lowest position, where diseases and disgrace accumulate.
She is cunning, like a villain; impulsive, like a child; salacious, like a prostitute; convoluted, like a fever dream; disturbing, like death; exposed, like glacial cliffs; and simple, like an uncarved block of wood.
How is it that Her perfection so easily evades the understanding of the ordinary world?
Perfect duplicity has only one face.
Perfect deception tells the truth.
Perfect concealment lies in plain sight.
Perfect abandonment was never there.
Perfect resistance appears to submit.
Perfect harmony appears chaotic.
Perfect use has no utility.
Her perfection seems lacking, but no one has ever found the end of it.

Know the male but preserve the female, and be a canyon for all the world.
If you are a canyon for all the world, constant Virtue will never leave you, and you can return home to be a child.
Know the white but preserve the black, and be a model for all the world.
If you are a model for all the world, constant Virtue will never err, and you can return home to the infinite.
Know glory but preserve disgrace, and be a valley for all the world.
If you are a valley for all the world, constant Virtue will always be sufficient, and you can return to being unhewn wood.
When unhewn wood is broken up, it becomes vessels. Sages put these to use and become leaders of the officials.
And so the greatest carving cuts nothing off.
