Are jirachi and rayquaza aspects of one another or something then? Or is it just coincidental overlap?
is it really coincidence…that two cosmic deities are able to grant wishes…even if the circumstances of those wishes…and methods of granting them…are different?
rayquaza and jirachi are connected. not aspects of one another…no…
jirachi was sent from the heavens by rayquaza to answer the prayers that she could not. but…she knew the nature of mankind…and made it very…very…hard…to utilize jirachi for greed and for evil.
jirachi is more…earthly. physical. something that lives among us. rayquaza watches from the heavens. jirachi is a gift from the lord. it only awakens during the wish festival…tanabata. once every millennium. and the wishes it grants are more…eh…mundane…than the prayers the lord can answer. it can grant physical things. but it cannot protect its people like the dragon lord can. it does not respond to prayers. it simply sleeps until it is time to grant wishes once again.

Isn't jirachi the wish granter?
the dragon lord and the wishmaster…they tend to…overlap…in domain…
both are represented by meteors…stars…the night sky…a comet’s tail…
jirachi is specifically wishes. that is true.
rayquaza…she responds to prayers.
prayers for help…for safety…prosperity…peace…comfort in dark times…protection…
she is a guardian. she cannot grant all wishes…unlike the master, jirachi.

So, before you got interrupted by the sheep blog, what did you mean about the trumpets?
traditional hoenni music is dominated by brass to the point that it is mocked.
the loud, brassy tone of the bells is used to call the dragon lord who comes down from the heavens to grant wishes.
