Research study of Asian American men and Black women who are currently in a romantic relationship together-$40 Visa gift card for participation.

Hello, I am a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, San Diego. I am conducting my dissertation study on the experiences of Asian American men and Black women who are currently in a romantic relationship (e.g., married, engaged, or dating). If you are a couple consisting of a partner who identifies as an Asian American man and a partner who identifies as a Black woman, you may be eligible to participate in this study. Other requirements needed for participation include being between the ages 18-65, speaking fluent English, and being comfortable with an in-person or Skype interview that will be approximately 2 hours in length. The information you provide is strictly confidential, and your identity will not be revealed. A $40 Visa gift card will be provided per couple after participation. This study has been approved by the university’s Institutional Review Board.

Insooni (인순이)/Kim In-Soon (김인순)

Insooni (Hangul: 인순이; born Kim In-Soon (김인순) on April 5, 1957) is a famous female South Korean singer. Insooni made her debut in 1978 in a group "Hee sisters (희자매)". Since then she has recorded a total of 19 albums (14 regular). She is now South Korea's acclaimed R&B diva with a wide range of fans, even though nearly 30 years have passed since her debut. She is one of the few singers who performed at Carnegie Hall in New York and earned several top prizes at broadcasters' annual award ceremonies. She is distinguished by her rich, throaty voice on stage. She was born to a Korean mother and an African American father, who served in the US military in South Korea, and was brought up by her mother alone, with the assistance of Pearl S. Buck International's child sponsorship program. She is now regarded as one of the best female singers in South Korea.

Amandla Stenberg

Amandla Stenberg (born October 23, 1998) is an American teen actress. She is best known for her portrayal of Rue in The Hunger Games. Amandla (which means "power" in Zulu) Stenberg was born in Los Angeles, California on October 23, 1998. Korean Old School Group "Uptown" (업타운)

Uptown (업타운) is a South Korean hip hop and R&B group which first debuted in 1997. Uptown was first created in 1996 when R&B and hip-hop were first introduced to Korea.[1] The group's four original members are Chris Jung, Carlos Galvan, Steve Kim and Tasha Reid. The group underwent several lineup changes and then disbanded in 2000. The group made a comeback and released their album, Testimony in May 2006. Steve Kim, Carlos Galvan and Chris Jung returned to the group without Tasha Reid. The female spot in the group was initially given to half-Caucasian half-African American rapper Say, but was soon replaced by teenage artist Jessica H.o. who was featured in their 2006 album, Testimony. For their 2009 album, New Era, the group went through yet another lineup change, replacing Steve Kim and Carlos Galvan with Roy Kim, Jonathan Moon, and Michael Horton. Discography:
