Penetration is a gender-neutral act. Topping is gender-neutral. Bottoming is gender-neutral. You are not more or less of a man or a woman depending on how you fuck. You are not “fake trans” for having sex a certain way. You are not any less masculine for bottoming or any less feminine for topping.

I started a new remote job last week, and I'm the only genderqueer person at the company (and the first person who uses neo pronouns that anyone on my team has ever met, apparently).
So far:
Manager carefully wrote down spelling and pronunciation of my pronouns and told everyone on the team to respect them.
Coworker apologized privately for misgendering me (I hadn't told her yet) and said she will practice.
Guy on another team valiantly tried to use my pronouns and ended up saying something like zirzs-zhizz (I DM'd him and thanked him for trying and linked him to a practice site).
Teammate told me he has written out my pronouns and how to use them in a sentence and literally taped it to his monitor so he can practice.
Teammate also referred to me as compañere after I linked to a comic about gender-neutral endings in Spanish (whole team except me + 1 other person speaks Spanish as first language and they held all meetings in Spanish before the two of us started).
I am so stoked that people are actually trying. 💜🤍💚

fuck it, my black trans guy experience has been:
other trans people(especially fellow trans men) invalidating my identity because I don't conform to gender norms or whatever bullshit cope they can think of
being fetishized constantly cuz I present fem. even in conversations that aren't even sex related. been told I'm "an easy cheat for straight people" or a heavy fixation on my breast
seeing queers who are white benefit from including black queers in their talking points but in some ways excluding us or tokenizing us.
oh yeah and the extreme transphobes misgendering me and threatening me with corrective SA
but I've also had positive experiences such as inspiring other trans and even cis folks to stay true to themselves and basically express themselves however they want. i like being myself but it sure is scary sometimes.

Hey nerds,
Are you a fan of animation? Are you an artist that works in the animation industry (or at least wants to… one of these days)? Do you just enjoy silly cartoons? Or maybe you don’t care about cartoons, but you believe strongly in workers rights and fair wages!
Well the people who make your favorite cartoons, anime, and animated shows and movies are fighting for the future of this industry. We are facing a lot of challenges right now job creep, low wages, the ever looming threat of artists being replaced by AI to create worse animation for the sake of generating content to make lots of money for very rich people while real human artists live paycheck to paycheck and struggle to pay rent and feed their families…
But you can help! By signing this petition to show your support for animation workers in the US

getting sex reassignment surgeries willingly is not gross. getting top surgery is not gross. having breasts removed is not gross. having breast enlargement surgeries is not gross. getting bottom surgery is not gross. bodies with phalloplasties are not gross. bodies with metoidioplasties are not gross. bodies with orchiectomies are not gross. bodies with vaginoplasties are not gross. bodies with hysterectomies are not gross. bodies with penectomies are not gross. post-op top surgery chests are not gross. post-op bottom surgery genitals are not gross.
we need to do people who have gotten surgeries better. trans bodies are beautiful and people deserve to be the happiest they can in their own bodies. trans bodies are not gross. you will encounter people who have gotten surgeries and you'll never be any the wiser. trans bodies are beautiful.

Since the holiday toy drive post is circulating again, I figured this would also be helpful! Food insecurity is such a massive problem in America, in general, and if you have the means to help feed others, I think you should take that opportunity. Here are some other tips:
1. If you’re planning on donating items from your own pantry, please check the expiration dates on the packaging. Think of your donations as gifts to bestow, not castoffs to be rid of. It’s awful to think of people feeling like they got scraps someone else just didn’t want. Everyone deserves dignity with their meals.
2. If you’d rather give money to a food bank, that’s also great since they buy food in bulk and know what items are most wanted/needed!
3. Not everyone has access to appliances like stoves or microwaves or hot plates so if you can donate items that don’t need to be heated up, that would also be greatly appreciated!

Rebuilding After Tragedy: Help Muhammad's Family Start Anew
Hello, my name is Muhammad Eid, a father of three children from Gaza. Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart, filled with both grief and hope, after my family and I endured an unimaginable tragedy during the ongoing war that has ravaged our city for nearly a year.
On a day that will forever be etched in my memory, our lives were shattered by an airstrike that took away everything we held dear. I lost my beloved daughter, Mais, who was the light of our lives, and I also lost my dear mother, my brother, and his entire family. The bombing didn’t spare anyone; it erased them from the civil registry as if they had never existed.
Our home, a four-story building that held all our memories and dreams, was reduced to rubble. My wife Maysaa, our two surviving children, Osama and Fouad, and I miraculously escaped with our lives, but we were left with severe injuries that required extensive hospital treatment.
I lost my beloved daughter, Mais
I lost my dear mother
I lost my brother, and his entire family
Our home, a four-story building where I lost my loved ones…
We have lost so much in this war, and now we find ourselves displaced and homeless, wandering without a place to call our own. We have also lost our jobs and everything we owned. In these dire circumstances, I am reaching out to you, hoping for your support in helping us rebuild our lives and restore some semblance of normalcy.
How Your Donations Will Help:
Our main goal is to raise €35,000 to help us:
Secure Apartment: The home we lost was worth far more than our campaign goal, but we hope to reach this target to secure a good apartment where my family and I can live.
Survival: Your contributions will help us meet our daily living needs, including food, water, and rent.
Treatment for Fouad: We need to treat my son, who has fractures in his pelvis and requires physical therapy.
Additional Expenses: We need for emergencies and unforeseen additional expenses.
" If the conflict persists and conditions deteriorate further, evacuating from Gaza could become a necessary step."

We are pleading for your help to make this dream a reality. Every donation, even as small as €5, brings us one step closer to safety and a new beginning. Please, help us start over.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity.
If you have any questions, you can contact us via Facebook: Contact us on Facebook
With deepest gratitude, Muhammad Eid

Hi, I’m Dana and I’m reaching out because I desperately need your help. I’ve been diagnosed with blood cancer and l am not getting any treatment because it’s incredibly costly and I lost everything in the jenocide!
Without the treatment, I keep getting blood clots. Today I also found out that there is a mass in my spleen & my liver is enlarged. I also have a 5 year old daughter. I’m doing everything I can to stay strong, but I can’t fight this alone. Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing my story, would mean the world to me. Even a $1 helps and brings me one step closer to getting the treatment I need to keep fighting.
The link to my fundraiser is in my bio 🔗🔗

A distress call from a family trapped in Gaza to stay alive
We need you to spread our story to the world.
In this difficult time. The past 12 months of displacement and famine have exacerbated our suffering and unbelievable difficulties. We have used all the sad words to describe the situation we have reached, but these words were not enough. The scale of the tragedy and suffering is much greater than what you may have seen on social media
My family lost their home and I also lost my home which I had prepared to get married and settle down in with my life partner
My supportive friends, you can support my family either by donating or sharing our campaign link with others so that the goal is reached sooner, please help us.
https://gofund.me/147ef790
We are very tired and no one is looking at us. Please help us. If you can't donate, share the account.

Our home was a safe haven, surrounded by warmth and hope.
It bore witness to years of beautiful memories, where my children grew up within its walls, and we always felt safe.
Our house was full of life, filled with the sound of laughter and the aroma of meals that brought us together around the table.
But now, after losing everything, our home has turned into a pile of rubble, with nothing left but scattered memories among the wreckage. All that remains of our house are destroyed walls and dreams shattered beneath the ruins.
