Honestly, I love the idea of a vampire who only drinks blood taken from blood banks and hospitals, because it so beautifully encompasses someone who's more concerned with the vibes of something than the actual impact of it.

Drinking from someone on the street, barring some other condition they may have, isn't likely to kill them unless you gorge yourself. Taking blood packs? There's always a shortage of blood, and having even less of it runs the very real risk of getting someone killed in a way that is wholly out of your control once you've sipped on that blood. Someone you can't assure the innocence or guilt of, if you're the type of person who cares about that.

Despite that, in popular stuff, I often see discussions of drinking from a blood bank being somehow better or preferable, and yeah. No. The only thing it does is make you feel better while doing more harm, because of that degree of removal. You're effectively drinking blood from someone on the cusp of hypovolemic shock, but since it's not straight from the tap, some people seem to think it's better.

Cybermen

Why is it always Cybermen? They seem to be one of my biggest enemies as the Doctor's daughter. I don't even fully understand it, but it's always cybermen. I've had at least 3 dreams involving them already, and that was what prompted me to actually make Rowyn an actual character. If you can't escape your fate, accept it. And mine seems to be hunted by cybermen among losing my TARDIS constantly. I almost never run into anything else, but Cybermen always seem to be waiting in the shadows to capture me or destroy me..... I suppose having a Time Lord, even a young one, would be a huge coup for them and a way to revenge themselves on the Doctor yet again. It really is rather pathetic.

I have seen cybermen try to pass themselves off as some sort of new treatment for depression, and so many people recklessly agreed to the free treatment without asking questions or were part of the first group to go in for it. And then, lo and behold, they're all locked into chambers and converted. That was a fun night running for my life and trying to keep the cybermen at bay.

There was the time I was part of some sort of contest and wound up traveling through time and wound up on some sort of space station or isolated city secretly run by cybermen & daleks. They had the Doctor in the medical ward and I had to free him in order for anything good to happen, but that didn't happen until after I woke up, of course. What I remember from the actual dream was more along the lines of clinging to a baby after her mother thrust her into my arms. Trying to protect her and find safety after we had all realized this was some sort of trap and then getting mixed in with terrified workers who knew what was going on and having to choose to jump down toward the psych ward in the hope that I wouldn't be scheduled for conversion or extermination that way.

Finally, there was the time I was on a hospital on an alien planet or in the future and the Doctor was a patient on life support somehow. It was really creepy and having sonic screwdriver, flip phone, and psychic paper really isn't enough to cover what to do when you find your Dad is hooked up to life support and the hospital is under some sort of quarantine plus you have absolutely no idea how you got there or where and when there is. If not for Mama River, I'd still be hiding in a bathroom, afraid of whatever was coming. But when River Song shows up with a plan? What can you do but jump on the bandwagon and cross your fingers? We escaped in the end at least and that's all that matters, but damn Cybermen for putting me through all this in my dreams.

Dream Summary 1 (10-24-2024)

So, first off, the things that I noticed that were different from the normal of this world we currently inhabit; the cars were shaped differently, there was talk of steam and credits related to cars, hmm...buildings moved, cars didn't seem to care if they hit passengers in parking lots or the like.

It started on a bus of sorts with my husband and was pretty oridnary as far as dreams go. You know, time with the family and that sort of thing but then we were debating going home or heading to the temple since we hadn't been in awhile. My birth family is Christian but I and mine are pagan plus I tend to access many worlds through my dreams. So yeah, we got off the bus that had previously been a house and were in a parking lot looking for our car but I was struggling to keep up with him and we passed all sorts of shops and people. It was like we were at the mall actually but instead of being inside, it was more like an outlet mall. It was really kind of cool and I loved that part of it because I hate being inside in dreams for some reason. I'm always looking for the way out of buildings. It's this need to escape the trap type of thing.

Eventually after almost getting hit a few times by cars coming racing down car lanes and crossing roads a bit and stuff, I just couldn't keep up with him anymore and somehow got myself lost. So I was going to call him but when I tried, my call got redirected to some sort of goverment or social authority thing that was asking questions about my marriage and stuff. It was very odd. I have no idea what type of world I was on. As it went along though, I think I realized though that women are sort of lesser beings on this world. And that some sort of movement had failed or something.

In the process of trying to find my partner again, I found myself looking for any stores that looked the same color as the one I had lost him by. I wound up in a line for an ATT store with some other girls, and it was an interesting thing. They were all unescorted females, and there was just something about the way they stuck together and the surrounding energy. Males kept giving me looks, and I had been sent to the back of the line and told to let others go ahead of me before I found them. And here all I'm trying to do is go through this store to hopefully get back to where I needed to be. Anyway, there were apparently guards nearby and someone was saying something about the army, and they managed to tick me off somehow, so I pulled out my NCIS badge because fuck the army and the marines are better. I know this, everyone knows this. Or rather, the part of me that is Rowan Aiko Gibbs was certainly involved. She was not a happy camper about any of what we'd noticed about this place, and she was happy to chime in with an oorah and a semper fi. We found out there was some sort of legend and that we were supposed to be dead or something. It was a riot and a half. I had a vision of Gibbs and Tony holding down a location and Gibbs saying something about if anyone called to take them out. Of course that was after I attempted to call Gibbs to find out what the heck was going on. It was all in all a weird night to be a 4 tailed kitsune who was lost.

Names

Where did I come up with Black Rose? I know that it's been used a bunch of times already but for me black roses feel sacred and important. I have run settings named things like Black Rose Books, The Glass Unicorn, or The Devils Rose before. It just feels right. Kind of like how I know there's a guild or clan or something out there called the black lotus or how Nocturne Academy exists.

Names have power and I find what feels right for the story or setting. I almost called this blog Tales of Twilight but of course as it is not fully related to the Twilight Court of the Fae that would be inappropriate and inaccurate. I won't outright lie after all. ;)

Nihvan is a hybrid of both Dathomir and Azerothian blood but like Miyabi leans toward the Azerothian side of her heritage. She was raised on Dathomir though and her father was Zabraki although that means little in the larger scheme of things. Her clan the Blue Coral Divers was unique on Dathomir being that they both welcomed males and that they were made up of more than night sisters and the like. They had the descendants of the exploration team from Planet Azeroth as the bulk of their people. She was raised as a Healer and when she is sent to the caves to perform one of her coming of age rituals meets Konrad Griersomm (the Grimm Imp). They bond and wind up having a daughter named Miyabi. She eventually leaves Dathomir in order to join her lover in the wider galaxy at large.

Nihvan's speciality is healing or defensive magicks and abilities. She is not as proficent with attack spells although she has been trained in close quarters combat well enough to defend at least herself.

Planet Azeroth[Setting]

Summary

The planet Azeroth, named so for the planet's properties, is a carbon planet in a densely populated solar system with twenty-two other planets.

Azeroth is about 11.4 times bigger than Earth, and its gravity is about 3.18 times that of Earth.

A single day lasts 33.21 hours, and a year lasts 425 days. The planet is made up of 4 continents, which make up 32% of the planet's landmass.

3 moon(s) orbit the planet, and Azeroth itself orbits a red sun in an almost perfectly circular orbit.

The plant-like organisms on this planet are made up of trees and flowers, with only a few dozen of grass species, even less bush species and almost no brush and fungi species. Although the grass species are few, they grow fast and cover wide areas. The trees and flowers cover a lot more though and because they use up most of the nutrients, other species like shrubs and fungi haven't been able to reach higher numbers.

Survival of the fittest is not something this planet is unfamiliar with. But one species might take this a little extreme. While most weak organisms are killed by other, stronger species, this species kills its own weak. Once they've grown to a mature size and are ready to produce seeds, these species begin by growing against each other, strangling the other and using specialized thorns to inject seeds into the other. The weakest will die and be used as nutrients for the seeds inside it. However, if two of them are equally matched, both of them could be injected and thus become food for the other's offspring.

Although most of the water on this planet is fresh, the water plants did develop into what is perhaps more closely related to corals than to plants. These highly specialized species roughly resemble what we're used to in the oceans of Earth, but are only seen in fresh water on very rare occasions, which makes the species on this planet all the more intriguing.

Finding higher forms of intelligence on other planets is something we as humans have dreamt of for ages, both for better and worse. The higher species on this planet are no different, in fact, these species are far more dedicated to it than humans are currently. Of course, the fact that these species have superior technology and a more peaceful society greatly benefits in their goals. Numerous space missions, both manned and unmanned, hundreds of space observation centers and hundreds of thousands of scientists and other professionals are the main force behind the goal to find other life in their galaxy and the universe. While they have discovered a fair deal of life, none of them are intelligent enough to even try to begin communications with.

This world is highly dangerous, and most forms of life on it are either very good at protecting themselves or are predators in some way.

Sentinent Beings

There are multiple sentient races on Azeroth, mostly they resemble elves to some degree, but there are some notable differences from perhaps what one pictures when they envision elves. Males for example are larger than females in general and more aggressive as well as having sharper teeth. While females tend to be much more delicate and beautiful in nature. Some of these beings live in caves like Drow or in the oceans like the Aquatic Elves would on other worlds with beautiful cities under the waters. There are those who tend to live in the forests and those who are drawn to follow herds of prey animals as the wild folks do. Females though they tend to in general be rare and there is one female born for every three males that makes it into adulthood. Due to the rarity of females on this world, bindings are between multiple males and a female in general.

Males tend to form warrior brotherships while they are still young and move forward as a family. Together they will seek to impress their female when they come of age. A group of males that forms a family can range from 3 to 5 young boys in a pack, and they will hunt and live together forming very close bonds, perhaps even being telepathically linked from a young age. When they meet a compatible female, they will decide together whether to approach her and whether to seek to meet whatever challenges the female lays down for them. While females are precious and protected, they can be either dominant or submissive once bonded.

Scents are important in identifying one's potential mate or mates, as well as the magical pull between them. A female if she has a destined one in particular may have dreams of the head of her pack and share dreams with them while young if their bond is especially potent, or they are in danger. Mate marks are rare, but some females, especially submissive females, will develop after bonding with males marks that represent the males that they are bonded to.

mating bites are a thing, but not venom. Like weres or vampires, they do bite their mate and a scar occurs even if mate marks do not.

Diet is more carnivorous than perhaps the usual for elves, but they are still elvenoids

Force Users exist, similarly as witches on Dathomir and other primitive societies exist. So do other types of magics, since this is a multi use setting, not just intended for sci-fi. Women tend to be drawn to the path of healers and males tend to be warriors, but mates, that is by no means a hard and fast rule.

Artemis Belmont

Gender - Artemis is Nonbinary or Gender Fluid. Specifically she is female but has occasionally a male form/glamor. ;) Don't worry, I tend to pick one and stick to it for a story. If she appears male, you can choose if it's a glamour or full transformation and how deep it goes. That is partner preference since I know a lot of guys can be particular and I really am more into guys. There are two stories of the origins of the Valerius line. One is that they are descended from one of the Horned Lords and the other is that Freya took a mortal for a lover and they are thus descended from her blood and charged with protecting the balance. Traditionally in this universe Freya is the Patron of Hunters and a goddess of nature and beauty as well. She is unbound by any male and thus considered a Virgin Goddess in this particular universe. In her softer Aspect, she is a Peace Goddess and promotes the various races playing nice together.

So I have this idea where Humanity has basically over exhausted their planet and most of the population has moved underground. Only the extremely wealthy get to live on the surface anymore in order for it to heal and such from the damage done over the centuries. Long ago, the vampires and other supernaturals left Earth and sought their fortunes in the wider galaxy only to find out that they were just a small fraction of the many unique species in the galaxy. Humans are now a protected species since humans can breed with any other species and Earth is a preserve of sorts but it sends up to their Overlords 12 virgins and 12 youths as a sacrifice every century. What the Overlords do with these offerings is unknown. A bounty of whatever goods and such is also put up.

So humans live crammed together underground for the most part, fighting for space and resources. Those that can take jobs off-world but it's hard to get a job off-world if you're human without signing away your life and loyalty or making some other really bad deal. The offerings actually compete for sponsorship to attend an academy and be turned, seek a job and future on another world without losing their freedom, find a mate, etc. Those who fail to impress become simply food but those who do impress the various supernatural factions overseeing the competition tend to find their futures and the futures of any relatives left on Earth vastly improved.

The Preserves

In the Far Future, Humanity has put the Earth on the brink and because of this...the Supernaturals have taken over. Vampires in order to preserve the planet and their food supply have taken over the world and come out of hiding. All humans have been gathered into preserves of a sort and the entire population of the world has been sorted and separated into the territories of the different vampire lords. Even hunters now obey and are sworn to the vampires and other supernaturals. Vampires are the top of the food chain and although humans still work and live ordinary lives for the most part, they are not the true authorities in anything. All young are sent to boarding schools once they hit their 13th birthday and the best and brightest compete to serve the supernaturals directly. All humans donate blood at least once a month and those whose blood is more desirable are kept in the best health possible in order to continue to provide food for their Masters. There are very few truly free humans left. Those from the original hunter families act as police for the other humans and their children were separated from them and sent to schools alongside the supernatural young to learn reliance upon their new masters. Artemis doesn't know she's more than human when she is sent to be sorted for a school on the eve of the Official takeover in her area.

All the humans from her territory are moved from their original homes and taken here to be assessed, sorted into risk groups and relocated based on how they do with re-education and their value to the supernaturals.

The school was built from a combination of the Hold and Dracula's castle long ago and a council of 3 formed to run the school. One Belmont to represent the Hunters, one Speaker, and one Vampire originally Alucard. This was the way of things and the school was devoted to protecting humanity from the ravages of the Supernatural world and eventually teaching Supernaturals to live in harmony with humans as the world grew smaller over time. Fast forward to the Modern Age, Artemis is a descendant of the Belmont clan but an indirect descendant not of the main family. Her branch of the family long ago left the Hold and hunting behind to blend in with the human world completely. They gave up their past and abandoned the traditions of the family. Artemis though was born with the dragon mark of a Valerius witch on her and the elders of the branch family consulted with each other on what to do. In the end, nothing was done because they couldn't be sure there was anything special about the girl aside from a funny birthmark. So now, 16 years later she has a run in with a vampire perhaps and then after that starts to awaken her powers and is sent a letter from the Academy requesting her presence.

What happens after that? Are you willing to help me build this version of the Treaty School? And the world around it?

Located in the Corellian Sector is the Black Feyre Cantina, an operation owned by the Black Sun and run by Miyabi Griersomm.The Black Feyre Cantina is a little nicer and quieter than some of the other establishments surrounding it catering to a higher class clientele. They are known for their discretion as well as being the place to go for solutions. The main floor of the building houses the cantina, a work shop, storage, and the offices, along with small private meeting rooms that can be secured for private meetings. The upper floor is the residence of owner and manager while below the street level is a secret training room for force users, a couple of apartments, a logistics center/war room, and a BDSM dungeon along with a more traditional place to stow prisioners and access to the tunnels/sewers.

She doesn't require blood as often as a pure vampire to survive but if she wishes to use her powers as a vampire, she would need it more frequently. She's sensitive to sunlight but it won't kill her just give her a really bad sunburn so she usually wears a hat no matter the weather.

Other::

The teachers and all know she's half vampire but she has to hide it from the students. She was allowed to come to Hogwarts because there's an experimental blood substitute potion that they're using on her and because she previously wasn't inclined to taking blood from people. She can also survive off animal blood but has never drunk from a living human. She was diagnosed with a condition that required regular blood transfusions while living among muggles so she spent a lot of time in the hospital. This changed when her family rejoined wizarding society and became animal blood or potions.

Fated Mates

Although Rare, they are heard of in both the Wizarding and Supernatural communities. Males will bear a mate mark representing their destined mate on their arm, wrist, or face while if a female has a fated mate...her mark tends to appear on her lower back or inner thigh. When two destined mates are near each other for the first time, the mark appears and everytime they are in close proximity it will glow and/or warm. Phermones between mated pairs are heightened along with the drive to finalize the connection. A mated pair can only fully bond through a combination of oath, blood, and body. As in there are three steps to be considered fully mated and a female may reject a potential mate at any point before the mating is fully sealed. The pair must have sex, they must exchange blood, and they must perform a verbal ritual or promise such as a marriage ceremoney. The marks can appear before mates have actually met but they will not be fully realized until first meeting. A vague outline is all the indication that one may have that they have a fated out there until they are within a mile or so of their destined mate. If you have a fated mate and have fully sealed the bond, you will only be fully fertile with your destined mate. Fated tend to be bound together by the soul, two halves of one whole or so people believe. Fated mates can be of any gender and a fated pair is more likely to have children than a non fated pair.

Character Information Work-up

Miyabi is a character that has had many versions and incarnations over the years. Currently, I am building a family with her and she is bonded as Omega to three males. She is one of my more unique characters in that she isn't straddling the line of light and dark but instead leans toward the Dark Side, but she doesn't have the Rage of a True Sith or anything like that. Instead, Miyabi is centered around Passion and Love. Her desires are for pleasure and family. She is an Omega female who due to her hybrid nature is unable to bear children. She has pheromones that entice more dominant males especially into lust toward her and make her mates more protective of her. She is a hybrid of Dathomir and an Aquatic alien species able to breath both in and out of water. As a member of the Blue Coral Divers Clan, this ability would help her to find the shells and other gifts of the sea that could only be sought under the waves. It can also be used to make water based settings more lively. Miyabi is petite standing at most five foot when fully grown and only 115 lbs. She has small breasts and blue skin along with scales down her back over her spine. Her gills are located on her neck and she has more webbing between her toes than a human but less than most aquatic species. She is a fast swimmer and can survive indefinitely almost under water or on land with exposure to water regularly. She is passionate and loving, with a soft heart despite being on a Dark aligned path. She associates with the criminal underworld and the Sith openly yet can be easily mistaken for a Jedi with how much she cares about and for those around her. She may have brief bursts of rage but she can't hold onto the rage for long as it is not natural to her path.

Timeline Outline

She was raised by the Jedi for much of her life although she always knew she had a fated mate out there as the connection to Khaemir Maul was impossible to miss. One thing that was true is that she after waking up from a nightmare would wander the temple as a child often seeking comfort from Qui-Gon when he was present in the Temple. As she got older, she began to venture outside the temple at night when she couldn't sleep. By the time she was 13 years of age, she was already familiar with the upper levels of Coruscant and beginning to venture lower than perhaps a Jedi raised child should on their own. She was passed over many times as a youngling by potential Masters and eventually joined the Jedi Service Corps instead. She often tagged along with Master Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi on their missions as a Healer Corps seeing Master Qui-Gon as both a father figure and Mentor. He was also the Alpha she was the most strongly connected to as a child. After Qui-Gon's death at the hands of Maul, she becomes a member of the Black Sun partially as a way to connect with her mate and partially so that he can keep an eye on her. While he is loathing himself for killing her teacher, she is working on helping him to the best of her ability to stablize the Black Sun and the Shadow Collective. Once he resolves his inner turmoil, they can begin reconnecting and with her second mate's help begin to train her in her unique path as well as prepare to take out Lord Sidious before he throws the entire galaxy into turmoil.

Force Powers

Her Force Powers will include things like self regeneration, protecting her inner core from harm, transmutation of energy,healing abilities, and anything that can be used for erotic purposes. She is never meant to be a warrior as those around her are but instead to be a healer and lover, even a slave at times. She does have some brat energy though and that is something to consider when talking or interacting with Miyabi. That is part of why she attracts such strong dominant males to her. She needs them to keep her in line because she would be a total disaster without them.

Alt Histories

Should Qui-Gon survive past Naboo severly wounded, Miaybi winds up his Padawan while Obi-Wan takes on Anakin and she remains a part of the Temple eventually becoming a Jedi Counselor after surviving Order 66. Master Qui-Gon then dies in the mess of escaping the temple and regrouping as much as possible while trying to protect his former Padawan.

Should Miya remain as part of the Temple past when Master Qui-Gon dies in any reality or time stream, she could become friends with Anakin and eventually potentially even more.

Nocturne Academy [Setting]

Inspired by Providence Paranormal College series by D.R. Perry as well as the Harry Potter Books among other school based sources

Nocturne Academy is a school for supernatural beings, from vampires to witches and everything in between. There are multiple dorms and a city around it that grew up to serve the school. The city and school are surrounded by a magic that keeps the sun's power weaker so that vampires are at less risk should they emerge during the day for whatever reason. But those mages who draw their power from the solar energies aren't weakened. The Headmaster of the school is bound directly the school itself and can be considered the spirit of the school itself. It is usually a mage favored by the goddess who originally helped found the school. (Yes, that means what you think it means.)

There are branches of this School in multiple locations in the multiverse. One is located in the chat room Dark City.

The oldest buildings on campus house the administration, dining hall, library, and offices. I kind of see it as having a supernatural city near by so like Hogwarts or many other magical schools in literature and anime, it isn't completely cut off just inaccessible to humans. Students have access to the city once they've proven to have control over their powers, shapeshifting, and be in general responsible individuals.

The dorms are older buildings but not the oldest on campus. They have been updated in recent times and a complete overhaul has been done on classrooms and the like as well. There is wifi, modern plumbing, electricity all the good stuff on campus. Tunnels connect all the buildings so those who are sensitive to the sun can navigate even if they have day classes for some reason. Also, there are multiple food venues on campus so you can grab a bite to eat in multiple spots just like on a college campus but a few times a year, everyone gathers in the formal dining room in the older building.

Dorms ---> Legacy and the most ancient families involved in the school don't have room-mates (Instead they may have suite mates or share an apartment with private bedrooms ). Other students have traditional double rooms with community bathrooms. The oldest dorms on campus are Arcana Hall (Witches), Moon Hall (Werewolves), The Courts (Fae), and the Night Hall (Vampires). There is also The Woods - a tiny house and traditional dorm community set amidst the forest that houses mostly those with strong ties to nature, The Grotto -- A housing community set under and surrounded by water for those of a watery persuasion, The Aerie - For those of a winged or strong affiliation with the wind, The Barracks - which houses all Hunter students (a very small amount are accepted each year as part of the treaty)

You know how in some Anime and Urban/Paranormal Fantasy/Romance books there are different meal plans based on student ranking? Yes, that is a thing. The Legacy students and the more powerful students get better food and higher limits on what they can spend on their meal plans but all students have plenty of variety within their tier and have unlimited meals/snacks.

4 Princes --> The unofficial rulers of the school, descended from 4 families that originally helped end the war and formed the treaty. Dragon, Vampire, Fae, and Shifter (Werewolf) Legacy students. They are also prefects or assistants to the Head Boy/Girl.

Witches are considered almost human and one of the weakest species in the supernatural world except in rare cases. A little tidbit about witches is that girls go through a virgin night [blackjewels.fandom.com][blackjewels.fandom.com] to secure and access their full power. And yeah, it's pretty much what it sounds like. Sex required, lol.

New students are preyed upon until they prove they can protect themselves. (It's an unspoken hazing of sorts. And as long as everyone is careful to fly under the adult's radar, it goes on.) (You know how supes are...survival of the fittest. It's high school on steroids )

The school covers in hunters and witches especially ages 13 to 21. For other races, they come at the equivalent ages and spend the same amount of time there.

There is a college version for 18+ as well exclusively. (First Years pretty much live on campus though)

Witches form allies on an individual basis. Weres and Vampires historically don't get along. Dragons and Weres typically are allies and Vampires typically ally with Fae. *Remember, there are exceptions to every rule **

Fae ---> Covers all races not covered under another category. Mages of all sorts are usually in Arcana Hall. Only shifters bound to the moon are in Moon Hall. Other shifters are in the Hall that best suits them if they aren't considered Fae. Only Fae bound to one of the 2 Courts are in the Courts. (Seelie & Unseelie.) (There is a 3rd Court, the Court of Twilight but it has long been considered abandoned and forgotten by most. The Queen of the Twilight is missing.) If you aren't Seelie or Unseelie, you probably are in the Grove or one of the other halls based on your abilities.

The Courts The Court is a set of 3 dorms built around a courtyard; Seelie, Unseelie, and Twilight. Of course they are actually called Light Hall, Dark Hall, and Twilight Hall. Twilight Hall is mostly abandoned and defunct since the Queen of Twilight has been missing for centuries and all who once would have been Twilight Fae are placing in the other dorms lately.

Character Summary

Rowyn is the daughter of the Doctor, Capt. Jack, and River Song from a time when all three were in the Tardis at the same time. There is also speculation that she is literally a child of the Tardis itself. She grew up mostly on 21st century Earth, bouncing between homes as a foster child and of course slipping through time and hopping onto the Tardis every chance she got. She has a chip in the back of her neck with her identity and banking information as set up by River in the future so that her daughter would never be completely helpless, as well as it being a tracker that all three of her parents can use to find her if they need to. The only reason no one parent is raising her is because of their unique lifestyles. She was technically born in a certain prison, and so is noted in the records of the 52nd century.

She is still on her original appearance, so is very, very young by Time Lord standards. In human terms, she is at least 18 years of age when encountered and just finally free of the foster care system.

She has a knack for finding herself in strange situations and is attracted to trouble of a Multidimensional and Multiple Perspective nature, which really isn't a surprise. She has traveled through time and space, although on a limited basis with the Doctor, and occasionally also hitched rides with the Master. The only thing they can both agree on is that they aren't going to let anything happen to her if they can help it. For some reason, the Master seems fond of her. She has had limited interactions with Jack and her mother, but she has at least heard of them and knows who they are. It's Jack who set her up with a banking account in the UK so that she'd have money whenever she was in the 21st century, and her mother has her set up for the far future as well, just in case. TARDIS has a protective Big Brother quality to it, unlike the wild insanity of the Doctor's TARDIS. Kinda like the wiser friend who has been on adventures before and wants to protect you, but also is willing to go on them with you and help you learn the ropes. Definitely masculine, unlike the Doctor's TARDIS and is not named SEXY. Thank you.

Her TARDIS is basically on training wheels still with fairy lights strung up in the console room, bright colors, easy to understand signs and a gel based telepathic piloting station. There is a huge star chart that can be projected onto the walls along with date information. It has large comfy seating with seat belts and grab bars as well as slightly padded flooring in case of falls. The exterior is stuck on a red UK phone booth design for the moment. But it will eventually look like the traditional police box had a love child with a UK red phone booth instead.
