gotta be honest i am also extremely citation needed when it comes to people pointing to hollyleaf's death as "proof" that leafpool is treated "better" than [insert other female character here] because she's acknowledged as the three's mother as if that scene isn't just hollyleaf being like "oi you me mum" and dying after not talking to leafpool or doing anything to make up for the fact she ruined her life and tried to murder her at all since she got back to camp. brambleclaw gets to have this big show where he lies in hollyleaf's defense as a testament to how good and noble he is and much he loves his daughter even though she was never ~really his~ and leafpool gets hollyleaf referring to her as "mother" once before she bites the dust. please tell me how leafpool's relationship with hollyleaf is in anyway what's being prioritized here
