Tryna get back in the swing of things with posting on this blog lol. I had a number of things happen in the real world including not having internet at home for a week, and then I just fell out of the habit, as I often do. But that’s okay! Cause I ain’t on a time limit.
Here’s something I threw together because I got that cloud mount. Sorry about Catboy Goku wearing uggs but they were the closest in shape to their weird ass DBZ shoes.

Apologies for letting the queue run empty! But as you can see, I’ve been busy with less-fashion-related pursuits. We’ll get back to regularly scheduled programming soon!

So THIS is what my current Astrologian glam looks like, and it’s my absolute favorite, especially after all that work I put in to get Canopus Lux (completed ast anima weapon). It’s another attempt at wearing the Republican Medicus’ Chiton in a different way than I usually see. I also wanted to utilize the Weathered Soothsayer’s Skirt cause I never see anybody wear it (unless they’re wearing the full Weathered Soothsayer’s set). One of these days I oughtta go get the dyable version... Anyways, for this you will need:
Edengate Temple Chain of Healing (you trade tokens you get from the normal Eden raids to an NPC in Eulmore for this)
Republican Medicus’ Chiton (dyed Lilac Purple)
Republican Medicus Wrist Torque
Weathered Soothsayer’s Skirt
Republican Medicus’ Caligae (dyed Metallic Brass) OPTIONAL: Canopus Lux (dyed Pearl White)
I really really love how the lilac purple dye on the chiton matches the jewel in the headdress, and the feathers in the headdress match the feathers on the back of the chiton. Two pieces of gear from wildly different parts of the game that somehow look like they were made to go together. I love that shit.

Heyoo, today’s outfit of the day is actually the first glam I ever made for Astrologian! I wanted to use the ever popular Republican Medicus’ Chiton, but I wanted to wear it in a different way than I usually see on others. Here you will need:
Ultima Horns
Republican Medicus’ Chiton (dyed with General-purpose Dark Purple dye)
Either the Republican Medicus’ Wrist Torque OR the Antiquated Constellation Armlets you get with your lvl70 AST quest
Plain Long Skirt (dyed with the same general-purpose dark purple dye as the chiton)
Republican Medicus’ Caligae (dyed Metallic Brass)
I have since updated this glam since hitting AST80 but for the look as presented here you only need up to AST70 (or any level healer if you leave out the Constellation Armlets). The Republican Medicus gear can be bought with Wolf Marks at Wolves’ Den Pier! You get Wolf Marks for participating in pvp and the easiest most painless way to accrue them is by doing daily Frontline roulette (which is also great for exp!)

Here’s another old one from the backlog. My current glam that uses this skirt is totally different now, but I can save that for a future post! This is only wearable by a RDM/BLM/SMN at lvl80. You will need:
Warg Pelt of Casting (a drop from the dungeon The Grand Cosmos)
Summer Evening Top (or any other shirtless style glam)
Star Velvet Long Gloves of Casting (crafted, able to be purchased on the MB)
Flame Elite’s Loincloth (it took some work to get..)
Ravel Keeper’s Sandals of Casting (drop from Qitana Ravel)
Most of this is fairly easy to get, you may end up with these drops by chance while going through MSQ (that’s how I got mine), but the Flame Elite’s Loincloth is a little special. It is an old piece of gear you get for doing ARR hunts for the Immortal Flames. It took me a week or two to get the amount of seals needed for it, since ARR hunts are not super popular these days. I joined a discord group for hunts for my data center and it was extremely helpful!
Though I hear that doing the Blue Mage Masked Carnivale is a faster way to get these seals. I wouldn’t know, cause the guy who said he was gonna help me level and get my blu spells needed just to unlock the Carnivale went and ghosted me :) And I don’t personally enjoy blue mage enough to really want to put myself through all that by myself (no offense if you do! Plenty of people love blue mage!)

Today I’ll show you one of my more sensible outfits I wear on my RP alt while in character doing MSQ. She is currently near the end of Heavensward, so I tried to keep her dressed somewhat warm while still keeping with her backstory. She’s one of many children from a long line of Karakul farmers, so she sticks with a very cowboy western type of aesthetic (she’s also very into tech so I often end up dipping into the aesthetic of that Will Smith fever dream that was Wild Wild West. Those were the days.) You will need:
Anemos Hat (dyed soot black)
Thavnairian Wool Autumn Dress (dyed loam brown)
Strife Gloves
Cashmere Slops (dyed soot black)
Survival Boots (dyed soot black)
The gun which is entirely optional (but sweet) is the Revolver of the Wanderer, which is a lvl60 gun you buy with Wolf Marks at Wolve's Den Pier (you get Wolf Marks for participating in PVP, the easiest way to obtain Wolf Marks is by doing daily Frontline roulette!)
It's an outfit that will keep you warm, with functional footwear for long treks on rough terrain, leather gloves that protect your hands from both damage and hopefully the cold, and my character never goes on an adventure without her signature cowboy hat.

A very simple throwback from earlier this year (and about 2 or 3 Fantasias ago). No level requirement for this one, and obviously can be worn by either of the available genders in the game. You will need:
Flower Crown (fairly cheap item from the Mog Store, even wearable by Viera!)
Ala Mhigan Gown (dyed snow white)
Claws of the Beast (the False Nails you can get from the Ananta beast tribe are also very good for this)
Collegiate Skirt (dyed celeste green)
High House Boots (dyed loam brown)
The Ala Mhigan Gown can sometimes be mildly pricey but not wildly so these days, fairly easily crafted as well. The Claws of the Beast can be purchased with MGP at the Gold Saucer and I highly recommend them (I use them with over half of my glams haaaaa), and the Collegiate Skirt is part of a set purchaseable on the Mog Store but unfortunately it’s like $18 full price. You will get a ton of use out of it though, I assure you.
Also I just love how the celeste green dye matches the accent colors in the gown. You can get a similar effect by color matching to any of the other accent colors as well, I just felt like going with the lighter color gave it a more fresh spring vibe.

Hey, y’all! This one is a good favorite of mine for my RDM main, with the completed SHB RDM relic weapon dyed to match the metal detailing on the Company Tabard! It ends up having somewhat of a retro military officer style look to it.
This definitely requires a lvl80 RDM to wear all of, but if you don’t count the weapon then of course BLM can wear it, too. You will need:
YoRHa Type-51 Hat of Casting
Company Tabard (dyed Jet Black *I’m so sorry*)
Law’s Order Gloves of Casting
Shisui Kohakama of Casting (thought the 2B legs or any swimsuit bottom can work. Or you can wear pants if you like your butt covered, but that ain’t me!)
Law’s Order Greaves of Casting
Basically the only part of this glam you can buy is the Company Tabard, which tends to run a bit high on price. The Company Tabard can be crafted by a crafter with the correct Master Recipe book, but the main crafting material can only be gained through FC Voyages and it’s rare even there. I crafted mine with materials I bought, which was the cheaper way to do it, but still cost a pretty penny. The rest are either dungeon drops or are purchased with Bozjan Gold Coins in Gangos.

Hello and welcome back! Today’s OOTD is a look I originally put together on my alt (Chiquita Banana on Coeurl) for my friend’s wedding, but as everyone who knows me on a personal level, my sleep schedule is a nightmare and my meds make it harder to be awake when I need to be, so I missed it. But this is still a cute as hell look.
I know a lot of people will tell you black stockings with black shoes is a fashion no-no, but I kind of like the effect, it doesn’t take away from the rest of the outfit and keeps things simple, which is great with the feel of the Frontier Dress.
There are no level or class restrictions for this glam however due to the Frontier items still being sorta new at the time of this posting, they cost a chunk of gil. The other parts were bought in the Mog Store with real currency (I understand if that’s not your thing!) You will need:
Frontier Ribbon (dyed bone white)
Frontier Dress (dyed wine red)
Valentione Acacia Gloves (dyed soot black)
Taffeta Loincloth (dyed soot black)
Valentione Acacia Heels (dyed soot black)
I found out from someone else’s glam that the lace collar and edge details on the Frontier dress are colormatched to the bone white dye, and you can get the Valentione’s shoes to look like they have plain black socks (same as the legs but I didn’t prefer to use them for this. You can do that though if you want to save gil since you will have it if you buy the Valentione’s Acacia set from the Mog Store).
The frontier ribbon and dress are both craftable by a crafter with the Master Recipe book 8, and the primary material used for it, Frontier Cloth, is a somewhat rare drop from the level80 maps that are popular currently.
This dress also looks good with the plain black Parasol fashion item you can get with Skybuilders Scrips or from the Market Board!

Hey y’all, welcome to my first post! We’ll start off with the outfit of today, which is my current dnc glam! It’s shiny, it’s gaudy, it has a skirt that goes spinny when you fight. What more can you ask for?
This one is a little expensive, unfortunately, as well as requiring level 80 BRD/MCH/DNC for one of the pieces, but most of the cost really comes from the dye used. You will need
Exarchic Hood of Aiming - Dyed gunmetal black
Thavairian Bolero - Dyed gunmetal black
Republican Sagittarius Wrist Torque
Longkilt of the Last Unicorn - Dyed metallic brass
Hard Leather Caligae - Dyed soot black
An alternate option if you do not have a lvl80 or can’t afford the Exarchic Hood, the Horn of the Last Unicorn dyed metallic brass is also a good look!
The two Last Unicorn pieces as well as the wrist torque all come from Wolves’ Den Pier for a total of 4,500 Wolf Marks which you get for participating in PVP. The fastest way to get this many Wolf Marks is Frontline daily roulette. You get a certain amount for winning (and even get some if you lose) as well as a bonus for using the duty roulette. It’s also a great way to get some quick exp for any of your jobs you might have between lvl30 and 50 where the leveling is a little slower than a lot of us would prefer. The centerpiece, the Thavnairian Bolero, is a little harder to get, since it is crafted by a leatherworker who has Master Recipe book 3, and the materials come from some of the lower level maps not as many FCs tend to do. You can typically buy it on the Market Board if you have the change for it, however.
