I made myself finally hit max level on monk, and celebrated with the new crafted set, and some pics! The poses are just base monk abilities... with the tail maneuvered a little for a more dynamic shot! Canonically, Jak can be considered both a monk, and a DRK - though I don't think I consider her to have a soul crystal for monk. It's just a combat style - though I've considered having her look deeper into the monk arts as they pertain to chi... and learning to, effectively, chi-block casters in a fight.

Glamours/Map Night: Level 1 Glams!

Tonight for our FC's treasure maps the theme was Level 1 Glams. I absolutely could not resist going as a monk in a wedding dress. Lalli hid her weapons and beat up SO MANY VEGETABLES with her fists and fancy boots.

Lalli also got a bit of a makeover. I'm in love with it and had to play with some of the light in mine and the wifey's (@luc1d17y-ffxiv) FC chambers. Our FC house is on the Primal - Exodus, Empyerum 5th Ward, Plot 60 if you want to come check out the rooms. Lalli's private chamber (which might be a shrine to G'raha Tia) is Room #006, and Astraex's gorgeous room is #007.

Final Fantasy 14 Soul Stone Hat Pre-Order sale ends on Wednesday!

All of the jobs are ready to stitch! I have a limited palette of hats to work with as I wait to hear back from a different supplier (everyone seems to be allergic to purple QQ), but there are still a lot of colors to choose from!

In addition to pre-orders, some of the pictured hats are available as Imperfect Prototypes! These are hats where the placement is off or the colors aren't what I envisioned, but they're still perfectly good!

As with all of my designs, I can put them on just about anything. If you want it on something other than the available selection of beanies, send me the link and I can order it to my studio. Or you can send me items to embroider as well.

I hand-traced each soul stone, despite vectors being everywhere now. I wanted to keep the cracks and breaks intact so that it was more accurate to the stones in inventory.

Monk quests are hilariously over the top and either 0 or 100. There is no in between. I mean, they start you off doing something EXTREMELY mundane and then somehow end up in the most anime of anime climaxes. The ARR starts with you just checking some aetheric flows and ends with a life or death dual over the future of Ala Mhigo and the soul of the Royal Bloodbline. HW starts with you teaching a couple new students and ends with you fighting Yami Miqo’te and his legion of corpse guards for the future of your dojo. SB starts with you visit your old friends and ends with you having to PUNCH A FUCKING TANK!

Pugilist is no better you start out learning to punch good at what feels like a scam, but ends with you beating the shit out of an old man and re-enacting Rocky by way of the Burly Brawl.
