If you are doing the fanfiction sentence thing I think I've got one! ^^ "I can't believe you've done this," "Yes you can." They can be right after eachother or spread apart, I just had those two together in my mind lolol

"I can't believe you've done this."

"Yes you can."

“Of course I can but just because I can don’t mean I want to believe it you fucking idiot.”

“That’s a mean thing to say to the guy proposing to you.” Ladybug gave a frown that was quickly replaced with a smile he couldn’t contain.

“Yeah, proposing to me with the goddamn bullet he shot me with!”

Maria had called him insane the second Ladybug had texted her about his plan. How he wanted to use the same bullet he shot Tangerine with and make it into a ring. He’d spent nine months coordinating who could make Tangerine's ring. Turns out not every jeweler was up to use a bullet that’d been dug out of someone.

Eventually, Ladybug was able to track someone down. Some wet worker named Marigold who forged jewelry on the side and was willing to do it for free after some light intimidation at gunpoint from Maria.

After being cleaned out, the bullet had been mixed with gold, to make sure there was actually enough to make a band with. Ladybug picked out three diamonds. One larger one in the middle and the two smaller ones on its sides as embellishments. He made sure they were the sharpest ones he could find. Presumably Tangerine would be wearing it a lot. Considering he also gets into fights a lot, hopefully he’ll fuck up some dude’s face with them.

After the ring was secured, four of the nine months were spent hyping himself up, planning everything to be perfect, and freaking out at Maria’s apartment. (Two were actually convincing Lemon to give his blessings, but Ladybug wasn’t going to admit that.) All of this culminated to right now. The moment after.

“It’s sentimental! What if I had used metal from that bottle of water you bought me?”

“There’s no way in hell you still have that.”

“But you definitely would’ve said no if I used that, right?”

“I’ve got half a goddamn mind to say no right now!” Tangerine snapped, no real venom behind his words. They both laughed, remembering a few moments ago when Tangerine had tackled Ladybug to the ground he was so excited to say yes. As the laughter died down, Ladybug shifted awkwardly.

“Your answer is still yes, right?”

Tangerine rolled his eyes but grinned, pulling Ladybug by his incorrectly tied ascot for a kiss.

“Of course it’s yes. It’ll always be yes. Fucking idiot.”
