buddy i hate to break it to you but literally ANY ship with these two are bound to be toxic. light canonically manipulates women, to examples of this being misa and takada. BUT you can also extend this to emi, rem, naomi, and even his own family members. like put this man in ANY relationship it's gonna be toxic. oh him with ryuk??? same thing with L, you cant put him with anyone have have it not be toxic to some extent. L is a character who does literally anything to win. he breaks a SHIT ton of a laws and commonly looks down on others and manipulates them putting them in tough situations mentally to see if he can trust them. this being the case with aizawa when he had to decide if he wanted to quit his job on the police or stay with the police because he had a family to support.

This is what pisses me off in some redemption fics like i firmly believe that even when he dies and comes back he will still have a god complex ,i think he has the potential to be good (but even that is maybe)but still gonna have his delusions the entire time.

But i love those kind of fics where light is 'normal', because like jdrama light says "this is the only way we could've met" so it's almost fun seeing something that can never happen, i wouldn't be surprised if it's one of the few times he was honest with himself.

I Wonder if there's a world they can coexist together without killing eachother,if light could ever truly love ryuzaki, or if light could truly love anyone other than himself to prioritise them over himself.

Light and L r so funny because there’s no right way to characterize them. We’re barely ever inside L’s head and even when we are- he doesn’t ever think about anything other than the case, so we don’t actually know much about him or how he feels about anything outside of Kira. Light is an unreliable narrator— he’s constantly lying to himself and the audience so that it’s basically impossible to infer when he’s being honest and how he’d actually react to or feel about certain things because it’s all deliberate and faked.

There’s only a handful of ways to mischaracterize either of them, and a hilariously frequent offender of this is; the idea that Kira is some alter ego of Light or that he was corrupted by the death note, like yatsoba light and Kira are two seperate people.

Wilson stand up. Everyone would turn to Wilson (who had ZERO warning about this) and he'd stutter before glaring at House and stand "yes, House is unfortunately my boyfriend"

Then they'd walk out of the courtroom and Wilson would chew him out which House ignores. Cue 3 days layer when Wilson says House needs to clear up they lied about being gay to get him off (ha) and they're not actually dating because he is NOT getting any dates like this. House would walk into the hospital cafeteria and yell "ATTENTION EVERYONE. Doctor Wilson is not my boyfriend." Wilson would nod for 2 seconds before House follows up with "because we're engaged!" and Wilson can't even be mad because why did he think for 2 seconds that House would make it easy for him

House would try to use this as an opportunity to demand less clinic hours (think of it as a wedding gift) which he does not get because Cuddy knows exactly what's going on and she thinks it's hilarious but she needs his ass working
