Looking back at my art this year and it's been a ride. I couldn't fit everything in (I have about 25+ pages of different comics in the background too) . My art muscles have definitely gotten a workout, and I'm proud of what I've accomplished this year! Compared to the last three years it feels so satisfying. Thanks for following along and supporting me!
Here's to the next year 🥂

Don’t let Chrome’s big redesign distract you from the fact that Chrome’s invasive new ad platform, ridiculously branded the “Privacy Sandbox,” is also getting a widespread rollout in Chrome today. If you haven’t been following this, this feature will track the web pages you visit and generate a list of advertising topics that it will share with web pages whenever they ask, and it’s built directly into the Chrome browser. It’s been in the news previously as “FLoC” and then the “Topics API,” and despite widespread opposition from just about every non-advertiser in the world, Google owns Chrome and is one of the world’s biggest advertising companies, so this is being railroaded into the production builds.
Use Firefox.

Archive.org deliver a windfall of lost music.
If you’re looking for a good way to spend the rest of your week, Archive.org have unearthed a gigantic collection of cassettes from the mid-eighties into the mid-nineties. According to their notes, the collection was saved from the archives of noise-arch.net and donated by former CKLN-FM radio host Myke Dyer in August of 2009. Due to the size and obscurity, the collection hasn’t been properly notated but is said to include cassettes ranging from “tape experimentation, industrial, avant-garde, indie, rock, DIY, subvertainment and auto-hypnotic materials”. Head to Archive now to download the free collection.

I FINALLY read 'Thrawn'(the first one, need to read 2 and 3). This is the one piece of media where I got sucked into fandom with out every consuming the original source. That's never happened to me before.
I used to be an avid reader of published books. I'd buy a book and devour it in a day or stay up all night to read it. I never really thought about if it was a healthy way to read, because how could reading be bad?
Then I had a kid and stopped reading the books I loved because I couldn't binge read. I struggled to read a chapter when I wasn't need and put it dow.
Recently though I was reminded how much I love reading physical books(I still love fanfic, but I have a long tbr pile that needs to be attacked). So I've been trying to develop healthier reading habits that keep reading enjoyable, but don't deprive me of sleep or put me in the possibility of being angry when someone interrupts my reading flow(this is something I get irrationally angry over. So budgeting 'safe' time has been a family learning process).
That being said I'm not as excited to read the next book. I thought Eli was going to be with Thrawn longer! We only get him for the first book?!!!😭

I think I read something I wasn't supposed to. And now I honestly don't know where to go with it. Like... how do I pretend I didn't read it?

Honestly, with all the tradwife cooking trash circulating, it only makes me love B Dylan Hollis more for baking vintage recipes while being openly gay, making sexual jokes, and screaming at the ingredients. He's the antithesis of every soft-spoken cishet woman cooking for her husband and children. You don't have to be an idyllic cottagecore housewife to cook.
