Surprised to see so many accumulating so quickly, Bre perks up at Jasna's mention of getting drinks. "Oh, fuck, yes please!" She immediately begins casting her eyes about in search of waitstaff.

The light of Ravnica's moons shines down through the scorched windows of a bar just down the road from Nivix, with a sign outside marked "The Fizzetorium". Patrons inside jump as the door slams open, followed by the large form of a grinning sphinx with green Gruul map tattoos across her blue skin.

Jasna calls out "Alright where's my girls!" She looks about the bar for familiar faces and her expression drops a bit. "Awww, don't tell me I'm the first one here. Ugh." She weaves her way through the other bar patrons to find a large enough empty table.

"To be fashionably late is an excuse made by people who don't know how to read a clock," Bre states declaratively as though it is concrete proven fact. She glances towards the colorful Simic that had joined the table as she had dropped from the rafters and stretched a grin that was just a little too wide and sharp.

"Nah, no practice needed, I'm just effortlessly talented. It's a gift," she claims, buffing her nails against her "shirt" that was really little more than a flexible metal harness that obscured the fun bits, barely.

"How many are we expecting tonight?" she asks Jasna.

unhooks her leg from the beam and catches herself in a handstand on the table, walking on her hands to the edge and neatly springing up and off to twist in the air and land in a seat

"Howsit, Gruul-y Girl?"

As such: Salutations, you may call me Gyre. I'm a Simic Combine guildmage working on independent research and assisting in certain experiments by providing them with the perfect test subject— me.

My biology is capable of accepting more mutations easier than most, and it makes it easier to undo most of them. In short, I'm capable of providing an example of what many mutations can and should do under the best of circumstances.

My own research focuses on both metal and biology. Don't panic! It's not phyrexian in nature, however they are an interesting precedent.

No, my skills lend themselves to transmuting life to metal, and metal to life. This isn't simple animation: This is converting metal to flesh properly, and imbuing it with soul.

Beyond my work and my research, I enjoy finding beautiful things in the city and taking pictures of them. The life of this city brings me great inspiration in making my own creations! Viewing art in all forms— except perhaps the bloody spectacles— is my #1 hobby.

With the advent of the Omenpaths, I wonder if perhaps I might find inspiring beauty on another plane.

As for what was giving you that extra pep in your step, I haven't a clue. But whoever owned the shop will undoubtedly have a new location soon, probably not even that far from the old one. They'll tell you honestly if you namedrop me.

Found out my favorite Rakdos Coffee shop was shut down today by Azorius due to a health code violation :(

How am I supposed to make it through the work day without my caffeine? I don't know what they put in the coffee there that made me so energized for the rest of the day, but no other place has been able to replicate it!

I lost a bet and had to work a shift behind a hotdog cart for one of my old Shredfreak buddies. Happy Horndog, himself, offered me a chunk of pocket money every time I talked the food up. Which is great, if you haven't tried it. The hotdogs have a great crunch for that extra texture experience that makes Happy Horndog's Hotdogs such a treat.

I've been meaning to ask. Ravnican Tumblr, what is a hotdog? I've seen so many posts involving them somehow but I didn't encounter a single one on Ravnica I don't think?
