Quinzelle and Joker for me. I know it’s currently acceptable to have her as another victim of his, but I always loved the idea that an educated lass like Quinn, who’s played by the rules all their life and has gotten nothing but bull for it because of her pretty face, meets Joker and he sets her free, but not in a good way. In a very, very bad way indeed. Like, he sees something of his old self in her. In how she plays by the rules despite the world changing the goal posts every time she make some progress and he shows her how to move to her own tempo.

Enemies-to-lovers, but instead of featuring a villain redemption arc, the heroic one is getting progressively more corrupt, unhinged and fucked up, and the one who was originally the clear-cut villain out of the two is just like "well mark me down as scared and horny"
