Hello! I'm Allie (she/her), a new videogame developer.

I started Birdbrain Interactive with the goal of creating games that my friends and I, queer people from all races and ethnicities could play without giving up the immersion.

I think it's quite a unique experience when you can interact as yourself when gaming— sometimes, having your favourite character acknowledge you by your pronouns and validate your sexuality makes all the difference.

So far, all of my games include characters from my favourite series but I plan on creating new characters for you to get to know and love as time goes on.

Hello to everyone who came here from TikTok!

I'm really glad you're enjoying the game. It might not link to this Tumblr (yet) as it didn't exist when I first posted "The Love Letter", but with the next update I will be sure to add this url.

Which brings me to good news! After reading the comments you left, I realized so many of you really wanted a Jean and Levi route. I do love both of those characters and the reason I didn't add the originally was because I set out to create three groups of three to start the story and I couldn't find a place for them.

However, I've been playing with the idea in my mind and I realized I'd love to add them! The original story won't change for the rest of the characters but new routes will be added for both Jean and Levi :)

I've been working on this project for over three weeks and now I'm very proud to announce it's complete and ready to be published! Welcome to my first ever interactive fanfiction <3

♡ WHAT'S AN INTERACTIVE FANFICTION?

Very similar to your casual visual novel, interactive fanfiction is very similar to a choose your own adventure game! After reading for a while, you will be prompted with two or more different options. For example, you can choose to side with Eren, Armin or Mikasa during a conversation, and, in another opportunity, you can choose between staying in Zeke's car while he finds a parking spot or heading to the fast-food place with Porco and Pieck!

Aside from that, you can customize the game even further! You can add your own name/nickname, so the characters' interaction feels even more personal. No pronouns are used throughout the story either <3

♡ OHH, TELL ME A BIT MORE!

11 available endings: 9 Good Endings with Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Reiner, Bertholdt, Annie, Zeke, Pieck and Porco + 2 Bad Endings

The reader is gender-neutral (no pronouns are used throughout the story) and racially ambiguous (no "raking their fingers across your hair" or "pink blushes")

Option to add your name/nickname so the characters can talk with you!

You can unlock secret passages when choosing different interactions with a character. And yes, those secret passages include even more kisses <3

♡ WHERE CAN I PLAY IT?

You can play for free on itch.io but of course, my ko-fi is always open if you're feeling generous. However, it's important to let you all know the game will always remain free and without any ads <3

with a few minutes left of the day, i want to announce my second game will be published on october 31st! there's quite a few differences from my previous game but the main one is that this will not only be +18 (as you had probably guessed already lmao) but also multifandom!
