Ok. So I'm not a messenger any more. But I still want to eat like one. Now I don't have to ride my bike for a living and spend all my time off trying to recover I can really enjoy cooking some proper food. But I do want to stay the same size. Eat Sleep Ride it's the same but the priority is different.

Had the termite guys in today. Extreme mess when i got home for work meant a bit of baking this eve to ease the pain.

Many good things have been happening recently. I got a thoroughly decent mark in my stressful exam, now have a job and a brand new second hand mountain bike. My job has a rather lovely 48km round trip commute involved and is rather easy in a friendly office with other people who like bikes. My other half also makes a rather good househusband too!

Locally made, handspun 100% alpaca yarn. Plus a little bit of patons acrylic to liven up the plain fawn. So soft.

Maybe the quinoa flakes were old. They are good toasted in muesli bars but in microwave oats, tasted like cardboard. bleugh.
Quinoa flakes in my pre ride oats and beetroot in my apple juice. Not sure about that. Don’t have time to make a tastier breakfast.

Had to cut my ride short due to this damn cold. It did mean i could have green eggs and ham for lunch though. Scrambled egg, spinach and ham in a tortilla, toasted, and served with parsley pesto and grilled pepper.
