I think is worth mentioning that the situation with Enzo and Jonah took TK by surprise too. But Jonah is his little brother and of course TK will do anything to protect him. And right now protecting him is making sure his little brother grows up in an environment with love, because as someone who had a father who was distant basically from his 8 to 18 years, TK knows how emotional support is important to a kid, and as good as the board school can be they can't really offer that.

Yeah, he is looking unreasonable, but only because this isn't a situation where a compromise can be reached. This isn't a case of baby fever, Jonah is his family and TK is the only immediate adult who can take him. I feel like there is three trigger points here. The first, Enzo being a remind of all the issues TK had with Owen. The second, how this sense of duty to be good big brother to Jonah also make his own feelings of grief over losing his mom resurface. The third, how his conflict to Carlos, before Enzo and Jonah, was so similar to the one who led Gwyn and Owen divorce. And TK has been understandable and supportive of Carlos for a year and half leaving the lights on and making sure he eats something more substantial than vending machine food, but TK is also a human that with accumulated frustantions and now having to make this big time sensitive decision has reached his breaking point.

There’s no right or wrong side here. Lets just give both TK and Carlos grace.

What I found interesting in this situation is that they both are valid, and they can’t solve this by finding a middle ground – there’s no middle ground to be found.

Yeah, TK did agree he was okay with never having kids with Carlos, and I believe he meant it. This isn't him bringing the kids conversation again just because he feels like it – this is his little brother. It doesn't appear TK had the time to talk to Carlos after he visited Enzo, and him searching for adoption lawyers is different from hiring. I don’t think he would hire a lawyer without talking to Carlos first. A lot from his snapping, I think, comes from anxiety, because this is a time sensitive decision.

As for Carlos, not only his feelings about fatherhood valid, but he was also take off the guard. There's so much bad timing and trauma and he is dealing with so much. I just want to hug him.

Listen, I know this doesn't make sense, but what if TK’s big decision is job related? Like, Enzo asking TK to work with him and to move back to New York or something.

But honestly I would have loved a storyline with TK being a mentor/father figure.

One thing that caught my attention in the new interview was the “ So we wanted to, as we’re sort of looking at this series to wrap it up and talk about family, get back to who is T.K. going to be as a son and as a brother and also as a father going forward as this series comes to a close” part.

As a father???

I headcanon that TK secretly loves horror movies, and is the kinda of person who always laughs at the most terrifying scenes because he thinks its so funny.

I’m the only one who didn't like Ranger Soup “advice” at all? TK is a first responder, so he gets that the job is demanding. That’s was never the problem. It wasn't necessarily about their first anniversary or gifts. The whole point was TK being worried because he saw the signs that Carlos was becoming obsessed with Gabriel’s case.

I just love TK and Gwyn relationship, and is probably one of my favorites in Lone Star. The fact that Gwyn calls TK her sweet boy is so precious.
