"I agree, it does. But think about it...I get a free bed, food, unconditional love, and the cat is pretty good company," Isaac laughed quietly, "I'm staring at it because of the knife I saw you had when I was pulling on the leg of your pants earlier. You're a lot nicer when I'm a dog."

Isaac laughed, “Dude…your son found me drenched in an alley. The stupid cat had to teach me how to turn back into a human. If I had some kind of hidden agenda, I’d probably at least learn how to shift a little better first,” he said, continuing to stare at his boot, “I like being a dog…just like Chairman likes being a cat. We’re a family.”

“And why would I believe that you do not have an agenda huh? You must agree it seems incredibly suspicious” Robert said noticing the dog looking at his boot. “are you staring at it because you want to chew on it?”

Isaac sat up on the couch and made sure everyone was out of the room before phasing back to a human. He knew it was dangerous, but he needed to stretch his muscles. Alec had been out for a long time now and just left him at the institute instead of taking him home before he left for the mission.

Isaac stretched his looked around, trying to fix a button on his shirt as he did.

Robert had just reentered the room having forgotten a book he needed. “Does Alexander know what you are?” he asked the now human. He knew he was obviously not meant to see this and so he kept distance knowing the only weapon he was currently carrying was a knife tucked in his boot. Even if he was skilled with a knife it wasn’t necessarily enough to win a fight.
