Okay, here's the low-down, this work would follow the OOTS timeline (as far as I've planned, no environmental events will change, like the drought), and take place with the regular perspective characters (Dove, Jay, Lion, etc) (Though I will cut stuff and chapters that I don't deem strictly necessary, and I will try to alter some perspective chapters to keep from simply having the same stuff happen as in the book with the same character telling it)

All events taken place before OOTS mostly will be untouched, unless I decide to retcon stuff later on.

Tigerdove will stay, but I am also being self indulgent and adding Cinderholly (Doomed lesbians, my favorite) and Jaykestrel.

I will try to avoid paraphrasing and taking stuff directly from the books as much as possible, but I think since I'm following some of the same main plot points, that it'll sadly be necessary.

I plan on at least finishing and publishing my AU the Fourth Apprentice, for the other books in the series, their future remains uncertain. This is my first long-term writing project, and I'm not the best with... long-term writing. So I think, using this book series as a sort of crutch to base the series on, is a good exercise in developing my writing skills.

In terms of the actual changes made-- Dovewing will be given powers akin to the Sisters, being able to see wandering ghosts, and a little bit of nature powers (which will be able to substitute some of her sensing powers in terms of plot stuff that may happen in the future). And for the juicy stuff, Hollyleaf died when the cave collapsed on top of her, and didn't *WINK WINK* find the path to Starclan. She acts as a sort of Ghostly mentor to Dovewing, paralleling Ivypool and Lionblaze-- except less evil cats and more gruff bitter morally gray women.

I hope this is a promising intro to what I plan! If you want to keep an eye on any updates coming before I announce them here, you can go to my new AO3 acc!!!

(I am currently just struggling on the first chapter, which takes place slightly before the events of the beginning of the Fourth Apprentice-- but once I'm done with that I hope to post a new chapter every 2-3 weeks!!) (The prologue is already done, it's what inspired me to make this a bigger project :D)
