He’d been tinkering with his Beamer for a while now, doing some much needed maintenance and cleaning. The frame was held up on a block while he finished replacing everything back where it was. His hands, clothes, and even part of his face were covered in black oil and grease, the signs of a long handful of a day.

Idea: Keiichi passes over at some point, but instead of moving on to the afterlife he stays behind and becomes a ghost, haunting his old stomping grounds like Nekomi Tech, Whirlwind, the Temple, and the roads between while riding his trusted Beamer.

Twist: He doesn’t have any regrets holding him back. He just wants to stick around a little longer to see what happens to his friends & family after he’s gone, and maybe race someone one last time.
