"Easy." She gently eased him up. She was relatively sure they were in somewhat good cover. Night was falling and they were far enough away from the gate where the bulk of the Jaffa would be stationed. She rummaged through her pockets for a first aid kit. She wiped away the sweat from her eyes, only briefly noticing that it wasn't sweat at all.

"We were under heavy fire," Mat explained while gently peeling back his jacket and shirt to get a better angle to clean the wound. "You were hit and we got separated from the others."

"It's alright," Mat soothed as Daniel's eyes blinked open. "You're alright. You were grazed with staff blast but so far I only see your shoulder singed."

She gave him another glance over, "Are you hurt anywhere else?"
