It was late. He wasn’t sure how late, but the village sounds had quieted long ago, and he had said goodnight to Omera at least an hour before. He had expected to fall asleep quickly, in the comfort of a real bedroom and a real bed, for the first time in a long while. Instead, his mind kept whirring with thoughts of his last moments with Grogu. He wondered how the kid was doing, if he was working hard and learning well, if he was being treated kindly. If the Jedi was patient with him.

If he would ever see Grogu again.

Mando got out of bed and walked quietly through the house to the front door, opening it up to stare out at the stars above. The night had brought with it a chill and he welcomed the cool breeze on his face.

You know I get it..... if ur a writer for a fanfic and maybe it's just ur not sure if anyone likes this or if people read it... do it because YOU WANT TO WRITE IT!!! it was in ur head and had to get out!!!but please don't base ur on whole life on whether u get so many likes or comments.just write something like no one is watching you!!! I do everything I can if I come across something that is amazing to me whether I ship or not because here is where I learned it matters.... but ... Idk..... sometimes I feel like...... maybe I should stop comments and kudos and see if the author/creator even love their work.... why get so invested if nothing even happens?????? I do a weekly food bank day, which helps roughly 800 families weekly, but I was completely unexpirienced in how to handle 500+ cars during covid! But.... caught on and every Thursday we are able to feed 800 families within 2 hours!!! I still love to laugh about our beginning though 🤣🤣🤣
