Ok- so the Mirkwood elves all have an obsession with hoarding wild animals? What about the other elves- do the ones at rivendale collect teapots or somthing like that? or are just the mirkwood ones strange

Honestly Elrond does give me big Uncle Iroh energy and I now fully support the HC that he loves tea like he probably invites all the other elf lords to Rivendell for tea parties and gets so excited about it like

Elrond, pouring tea for Thranduil, Galadriel, Celeborn, and Glorfindel: right now I’m pouring a green jasmine tea with a subtle floral aroma and hints of lemon. Oh! And I have lemon cakes if anyone if feeling peckish! ☺️

Celeborn, under his breath: this tastes like grass…

Thranduil, kicking him under the table: Shut up this is the happiest I’ve seen Elrond in centuries.
