I previously worked at a multimedia company, but because of the war, I lost my job, my home, my car, and now I have no place to live or work.

During the war, we were forced to evacuate more than four times. Each time, we had to leave everything behind without taking any of our personal belongings.

I live in northern Gaza.

We were displaced to southern Gaza, then to Deir al-Balah, then to Rafah, and now we live in an uninhabitable tent that is not suitable for living.

My daughter Rahaf was martyred in the war due to Israeli airstrikes. Now I have Iman, Malak, Basel, and my wife is in her seventh month of pregnancy.

I am still in a state of shock and disbelief. Today, a school sheltering displaced families was bombed—just near the place where I live. Can you imagine the scale of the catastrophe? A school housing thousands of displaced people was deliberately targeted.

How many children were inside? How many families were seeking safety within its fragile walls? Can you begin to imagine how many lives were lost? How many mothers lost their children? How many children became orphans in an instant? Did you know that each classroom held more than ten families? Just targeting one person there could mean the death of dozens.

I pass by this school every single day—at the same time it was bombed today. But today… something kept me from going out. A small circumstance… that ended up saving my life. I survived this time… but who can guarantee survival the next? We live every day on the edge of death, waiting for a strike we can’t predict, from a sky that shows no mercy.

Today, I come to you with an urgent request. My father had a serious fall and injured his leg badly. We rushed him to the hospital and after doing an X-ray, the doctor confirmed that he needs a leg operation as soon as possible.
