I've just realised what a coworker was talking about earlier.

They were saying how a weird email was safe because Nore Rly sent it.

Me not being fully awake didn't really register what was said, just gave the usual 'Maybe wait until we get confirmation from IT'.

It has just hit me that they were talking about a no-reply email!

But they don't read it as 'no reply', they think it's a company called Nore Rly, and because we get so many from them, it makes them safe!

I fucking hate the modern era.

Just hire more telephone operators! Hire more secretaries! Hire more administrators!!

PAY THEM.

#Yeah this #about an hour for a palliative call to be answered #y'know palliative - meaning end of life - meaning actively dying - meaning URGENT #the ambulance call after that one was waiting about an hour and a half #why?#because there was ONE call handler #just one #just me #dealing with palliative calls and ambulance calls and district nurse calls and any other calls that come in #including the rare and very much dreaded dementia calls #I'm the one that gets shouted at #I'm the one they blame for the wait #but management doesn't think we need anymore staff #fuck 'em #if they won't listen to me and my coworkers #they'll sure as fuck listen to all the patient complaints coming in #I WILL give out the complaints procedure and redirect those abusive arseholes to the appropriate channels

From what I recall from the newspaper articles, he didn't like the take off part of the flight, squealing quite a bit, but he settled down once they were in the air.
