Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Why does Massachusetts love rotaries so fucking much. Like smack in the middle of route 20, a rather straight stretch of it to boot, they're putting in a fucking rotary. Rebrand Trailer Screenplay Pitch

Throwing my proverbial prophecy-hat into the ring here in the buildup to the imminent rebrand! Considering how much fun they had with the first one, it seems pretty likely that we might get a trailer similar to the absolute cinema that was the gaming channel's revival announcement. With that in mind, i had my own stupid ideas for what this might look like, so i put a little screenplay together. Here’s what i’m squinking:

Something something. Parasocial subversion of expectations-themed "wedding", plus the wedding itself looking like it was plonked on top of the funeral set to represent parting with the past and embracing something new. There's symbolism here I swear

i need to practice/learn excel so i gathered data about phyuri on ao3, here are my graphs. as you can see there is a significant increase in f/f fanfiction under the phandom tag in this past year

my data collection methods were not super good because this was more about me using excel so take this with a grain of salt

heres my data if anyone wants it, i know its a bit off because the totals are both slightly more than the fic totals on ao3. i basically manually counted the fics, when i was doing the f/f i got a bit confused because of publication dates on fics that were updated more recently being between much older fics and i counted them by the date they showed. with the m/m i counted the page numbers and x20 so it is more imprecise and also is more by publication than finished date.

I got high the other day and tried to explain what a pontoon was to my friend after Dan and Phil were mentioned. Apparently you can’t sufficiently explain a pontoon with just the words “floating anchor on water”. Needless to say I was levitating.

Sometimes I think about the individuals at the DMV that have to regularly acknowledge and deny some hilarious custom license plate names. I imagine they have to be trained in understanding all the lingo of today. Like imagine being in a boring ass office job and having to regularly turn down plate requests like B00BAS, HWKTUA, N0BTCHS - while working for the DMV of all places.

I couldn’t do it, I would get fired knowingly approving a witty plate referring to sucking one’s own cock. I could not go to a meeting about the new term cuck chair and not burst out laughing. Sorry but I will be approving CUCKCHA1R.

I am spoiling the live action Lilo & Stitch. And I am doing it up front and plainly.

Do not fucking see this movie. Do not waste your money on this. Period.

They made Nani give Lilo up to the American government. They made Nani LEAVE Hawaii and pursue being a marine biologist. They made a native Hawaiian character give up her sibling to pursue a dream that she originally did not have. This is imperialist propaganda at its FINEST.

The original fucking movie is about family staying together. It's about indigenous people being able to stay with each other and stay in their home and be together! That's the whole fucking point! Nani is Lilo's last living relative on her homeland—it is jarring, it is disgusting and disturbing that Nani would not only leave her last blood relative alone, give her up to the very government that is harming native Hawaiians TODAY, but also travel to the "mainland" for her dream!

Not to mention, Nani's actress isn't fucking Hawaiian. She's much paler in photos and real life. They fucking darkened her for this movie.

Don't even get me started on the transgender subtext of Pleakley's "human" disguise from the original movie being completely erased in favor of him being played by a regular ass white man. Jumba doesn't have his accent, they made him more villainous, and his "human" disguise is a non-fat white man—which part of his original joke, I know, is that he was bigger and was more clumsy in the movie because of his size, but to have the main shape of his character completely removed is also fucking weird.

This live action movie is a desecration to the original. I encourage you to not see it, please. Don't give Disney any of your money on this one. Just watch the original. Please just watch the original.

The new message in the live action movie is disturbing and gross.
