everyone who is into dark academia now used to either have an obsession with greek mythology, were really into poetry and philosophy, tried to be motivated for school, loved history or considered themselves either a ravenclaw or a slytherin

a small guide on how i battle my essays! (click on an image to view it clearer)
(keep in mind: i’m an english major so a majority of my essays are literature-focused!)
these are just some of the methods i want to share that work for me when i write my innumerable amount of essays! i’m definitely a huge planner so it’s no secret that i spend a lot of time on an essay. if you’re a deadline fighter, these tips might not necessarily be helpful (especially the handwriting one). but i hope this gives you an insight on how i write my essays! 🌈

Give your Japanese skills a huge push!
The nature of the Japanese language means it’s far more effective to do a small amount each day, rather than absolutely cramming months of knowledge into one study session.
The purpose of this challenge is to do a little (or a lot) of Japanese practice each day for 100 days. This can be from anything to simply memorising a new Kanji character, to learning a whole new grammar point. Unfortunately no, watching anime doesn’t count! (〃∇〃) But here’s some ideas to get you started!;
• Practicing Hiragana or Katakana • Memorising Kanji • Expanding your vocabulary • Working on your pronunciation • Reading a short passage in Japanese • Having a conversation IN Japanese • Do a chapter of a textbook • Practicing kanji strokes
I will also be posting challenges to keep you motivated!
Sharing photos are optional but highly encouraged - remember substance above style, so don’t stress about making your photos super ~aesthetic~ and just focus on your Japanese!
Please tag your photos
#HyakuDaysOfProductivity
I’ll be following this hashtag, good luck!!

A slow day of sleeping and studying. The Danish weather is definitely not being kind to me, but staying home from school gives me the opportunity to study whilst wearing sweatpants. I’m currently studying vikings which is loads of fun!
