Small 1.5 spoilers ahead

So I was playing Stardew Valley today. It was Wed. 3 of summer year 4 on this world. It was late, and it was raining. I had just bought the key to the town, and so I was testing it out. I had entered Hailey and Emily's house and when I left I swear I saw some tall, shadowy figure run from the bush in front of their house to the large tree that Sam always stands under. I might be crazy, but I don't think so. At the glimpse I had seen it looked almost Harvey or Mr. Qi's height, so it wasn't Krobus. I should mention I've also had the strange capsule events multiple times. Has anyone else seen this?

So I was thinking about who Sebastian's dad could be in Stardew Valley. I don't think it would be anyone in town (except maybe the bouncer), and so I started thinking about what his story could be and why he's not around. I did some investigating, and realized that Sebastian hates all alcohol. The only other people In the game who hate all alcohol are Vincent and Jas (for obvious reasons) and Penny whose mother is an alcoholic. Sebastian could just really hate the taste of alcohol, or there's some deeper meaning to this. What if Sebastian's father was an alcoholic. It makes sense, neither Sebastian or Robin mention him at all, and if something ended badly, that would explain it. Anyway, thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

This is in no way related to my normal topic of interest, but it must be said:

Male abuse victims deserve justice too. The whole Johnny Depp and Amber Heard situation is disgraceful. I cannot say for a fact that Johnny Depp did or didn't hit Amber Heard, however, there is substantial evidence that she hit him and even cut off his finger. She even called him a baby for confronting her about her abuse. I find it horrible that Johnny was fired from the same studio that Amber wasn't even with the crazy amount of evidence against her. People like Amber are the reason male abuse victims don't get help. This double standard is unjust and outrageous!

This song sounds like something Sam would write about Sebastian (and never share with anyone) in an alternate universe where Sebastian was driven out of Pelican town because of homophobia and fear.

Headcanon Time

The best headcanon I've ever come up with (at least, in my opinion) is that Jodi, Kent, Sam, and Vincent have annual arm wrestling competitions. Jodi always wins, and Sam always loses. They've never told anyone about this, and they take it VERY seriously! In fact, this is the reason Jodi lifts weights in her aerobics class.

Things I'd like to see in Stardew Valley

One thing I'd like to see in Stardew Valley is the ability to make people dislike you (like black hearts or something instead of the usual red) by giving them hated gifts, hitting them with rocks, choosing the bad options in questions and heart events, etc. It'd be cool if they had different dialogue, and even different heart events. I think it would also be cool for certain npcs to dislike each other. For example, I think Alex and Sebastian would dislike each other, and maybe Pam and Jodi would dislike each other. Maybe there could also be heart events about that too.

Another thing I'd like to see in Stardew Valley is the ability to help certain people with their problems, or at least for some to get better or even resolve over time. It doesn't necessarily have to be fixing all their problems, but just small things, like giving Shane some advice concerning Jas. It'd also be nice to see some progress in characters like Shane, Kent, and Pam concerning some of their issues in their quotes over time. It's just really sad to play for five in game years, and see that Shane is still struggling with alcohol, and Kent still doesn't know anything about Sam. I'm not saying all their issues should magically dissappear, that doesn't happen, but I would like to see even a sliver of hope that one day it could get better.
