I failed
I am sick of my own shit. This idea of making the change by baby steps, one thing at a time got me nowhere FOR 3 YEARS(!)
I am done with that approach.
I am changing everything NOW
Not out of spite, anger or failures, honestly a lot of failures, but out of LOVE FOR MYSELF. ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
Love that is so honest right now that I feel good about getting my shit together. I am no more afraid of life.

Since I won't die that soon I guess I'll have to get my shit together and work through this somehow. Taking responsibility sucks.

Minimalist student struggles
U know the feeling when u have money to spend and u are u are on hour long deep dive in sale sections of major colting chain stores and suddenly wake up and think "Do I really need all this stuff"?
I used to be an essentialist I would say. Only buy things that I really needed, or wanted but it was researched decision, nothing out of my whom or mood.
And I started to think about why I went back to who I used to be?
Here is what I came up with.
1. CORONA
Only thing I could do was to buy. And only online. That dopamine rush was what kept me going through my low mood episodes.
2. PEOPLE
I am friends with more wealthy ppl than me. I just wanted to have new things as frequently as they did.
Meaning new package every single week.
How do You feel about minimalism/essentialism?
Anybody recommends accounts of minimalist/essentialist students?

Anyone else??
Anyone else want to change their life & become vegan, a minimalist, start a zero waste life style, run/workout every single day, actually do homework, & get a decent amount of sleep but just don’t know where to start.

As most people are working and studying from home right now, I wanted to share some concrete, implementable ways you can help yourself feel better. Though I believe productivity and quantity of work done (or lack thereof) doesn’t/shouldn’t translate into your self-worth and how you view yourself, when you get work done, you actually do feel better in your own body.
By the way, it’s the first time I’m formatting a tips/guide post like this, so I apologize that I couldn’t be more concise.
I’ve spoken to a licensed professional counsellor as well as to some professionals who have been working from home for a long time, and some of the advice above is from them. I’m also sharing from my own experience as someone who used to be very productive and an (ex-)overachiever, and still attach a lot of my self-worth to grades and other tangible accomplishments. I hope these slides can help you. In case it’s hard to read, I’ve included it (reworded) in text form if you’d like to read more.

On behalf of Poland I'm really sorry for this. We didn't chose him. Our national tv (that is actually controlled by our right winged government) chose Rafał because he's their new fav.

"wow you blocked me just cuz i disagreed with you???"
yes. yes, exactly. this is a social media site. i come here to look at pictures of birds and shitpost with my friends. this is not a town hall meeting; i am not your elected official. i do not owe you my energy, my space, or my time. you and i are strangers that use the same website. i can block you for literally any reason and that's okay. take a deep breath. block me too. you'll feel better.

love will feel (and maybe even be) so much more accessible when you stop thinking of it as this grand thing you have to be deserving of. it’s small, it’s in short moments, it’s in quick gestures, it’s in normal everyday things. when you think of it as something you have to discover or catch or deserve, you’ll miss how alive it already is all around you.
