There are many reasons I don't like Ratha 2 (Ratha from the second game)

One of them probably has to do with the fact that, unlike the first game which makes it feel like you're going out to get an egg yourself... Ratha in 2 is just kinda... handed to you.

Granted, that's a really tiny issue compared to the bigger problems but it's still an issue.

The soft sound of wings moving, the press of claws into the hardening dirt. It isn't long before the beast appears, gold eyes staring intensely.

The agitated roars of a Rathian are impossible to miss. The large wyvern angrily swiping away at baggi that have decided to swarm along her feet and lower body. The little creatures nipping and chomping at her scales, trying to pierce flesh but having no luck.

Another howling roar and she gives a hard thrash, throwing several of the little buggers several feet.

Let them try!
